Su-57 in modern combat

What role would Su-57 play in places like Ukraine, given that air superiority isn’t present for the Russians? Would it just sit inside Russia and shoot at Ukie jets?

What's up with this anyway? Vatniks forgot how to make proper engines because holy shit, hearing the armata's engine actually made me feel bad for the poor thing.

Why don’t they send Armata and Su-57 into combat anyways? They have 20 of each, might as well use them

There is literally no way their propaganda can be worse than it is already

You have to understand anon, tankies literally value their vehicles more than their own people. It's also most importantly the way tankies show off how stronk they think they are. Anon, everything they say is to keep the Muscovites happy long enough for Putin to loot the country and flee. They don't actually care about the war. St. Petersburg could wiped off the face of the map and their response would be that it was a tactical NATO blunder because now they don't need to feed those people

So far they've bullied and sweet-talked most of their population into apathetic delusion and ignorance. Once nobody even makes an effort to pretend the official line is real is when shit starts going down. That's how soviet union collapsed decades ago.

So far it's not been quite as bad for them. The worst thing to happen would be some major losses akin to Kherson/Izyum routs as those are essentially impossible to ignore unlike equipment losses, mobik waves and steady lines. Those fly directly in the face of their internal propaganda in the most obvious way and a simple look at the map is enough to remind them of it. A few more of such routs have high chance of breaking russian propaganda to render it mostly ineffective even among the most demoralized and subservient of russian population, forcing them to either drastically change tactics and narratives or experience the similar situation as in the late 80s/early 90s.

What if i told you that all soviet/russian tank engines from T-55 to the T-90, with the exception of the T-64, are all directly traced to the same engine that was in the T-34 of the WW2, with slight modifications like turbocharging to squeeze more power out of it? And the kicker is that the engine itself was a modified copy of a 1930s German engine soviets were licensing at the time.

A lot of morons still believe the "real russian army" meme. Getting a confirmed kill on a T-14 or an Su-57 would shatter the illusion for even densest of tards.

Armata is in such disrepair it won't even make it to combat. Su-57 is much more murky and it's unclear if they even made more than 2-3 prewar ones that were essentially non combat capable, with the only thing working inside them being electronics and engines directly borrowed from the Su-35 in place of the next gen ones that never finished development. In syria Su-57's were flying with externally mounted dumb bombs that were visually aimed, followed by fighter escort because that's the only thing they were suited for during their propaganda stunt. There's a high chance the "new" Su-57's are just repainted prototypes that were rolled out to create an image of wartime economy, with them "producing" 3-4 planes in a year or so compared to the same amount over a decade previously, failing numerous declared deadlines.

F-16 EPU uses hydrazine to generate electrical and hydraulic power during in-flight engine out emergencies. Flankers have APUs and they are twin-engine so they very likely don't have a hydrazine EPU, like no other USAF jet has them.

Also Jet A doesn't burn your hands, just dries your skin out if you let it soak your gloves etc, regular gasoline is harsher
