would be funny
Most likely they dropped an external fuel tank.
Actually colliding with the drone and the plane would be pretty fucking suicidal.

How were you planning to land after your landing wheel is destroyed by the propeller?
[...] >Let's just fly directly behind the debris and suck it all up into the turbine
Are you trying to have a nice day?

lol no
mot likely the retarded russian pilot forget that the su-27 wingspan is 15m and hit the propeller wile accelerating to put the wing in front of the mq-9(remember that he was dumping fuel and the fuel dumper is on the wing).
https://i.imgur.com/YPfkag0.png
I bet it was something like this.
pretty funny but you can start up the engine again even if he can't breathe
Then they spent over an hour making similar passes and tempting fate before it finally happened. Either they’re retarded and incompetent, or they’re retarded and incompetent.
>a bomber flying in international airspace is the same thing as trying to maneuver kill a drone, repeatedly failing, and just ramming it out of spite
At least fucking try when you play the whatabout card.
They're Russians so there is a high likelihood that they're both retarded and incompetent.
Then they spent over an hour making similar passes and tempting fate before it finally happened. Either they’re retarded and incompetent, or they’re retarded and incompetent.
It probably was an accident. They are Russian pilots flying Russian aircraft.
I'd fly over it and make the jet heat melt the propeller or wings. They were probably trying to ignite it with the jet flame after dumping fuel on it. Is that possible or would the fuel dry up/blow off before they could light it up? Seems like it's worth a try to douse then ignite, but burning a wing or propeller would definitely work. Even burning out the camera/sensor base.
dumping fuel worked, thats what broke the propeller
even rain can damage a propeller
Why dump fuel? How is that better than just shooting it down? They're both intentional acts to destroy it.
https://i.imgur.com/xH81D72.png
And why would they lie about a drone being shot down in favor of claiming it was a collision? A shootdown in international airspace would be a much bigger deal than a collision that the Russians can simply downplay as "accidental" or say that it was actually the reaper pilot that caused it.
The US might not want to accelerate things with Russia. I remember in either Vietnam or Korea there was a US fighter pilot who shot down several Soviet fighters (despite the Soviets not officially being involved in the war), but the US kept it classified for decades because they were worried that it might make things worse
>Why dump fuel? How is that better than just shooting it down? They're both intentional acts to destroy it.
Russians have an innate desire to commit insurance fraud, even when they know the entire interaction is being recorded.
>Why dump fuel.
Either he thought that simply being doused in AvGas would somehow damage the drone OR he was trying to avoid a collision and wanted to lighten the jet to maneuver more effectively.
I honestly can't imagine any other reasons to dump fuel.
>Either he thought that simply being doused in AvGas would somehow damage the drone
But a Su-27 has a lot better ways to accomplish that. Intimidation gone wrong is my guess
> But a Su-27 has a lot better ways to accomplish that.
Not without starting a war.
It’s basically Russia doing everything possible to disrupt the drone without firing a weapon and committing an act of aggression - they are trying to have their cake and eat it too. Dumping fuel and buzzing/clipping the drone can be both handwaved by Russian authority as harassment and not a serious gesture of aggression, but played to their population as “XAXAXA POCCNYR STRONK”. Hence the official press release of “we dindu nuffin” alongside a set of low budget wojack memes. Russia is scared to open fire on US assets, so they rely on the “ITS JUST A PRANK BRO!” style of air combat.
Like I said, I just can't imagine more than the two reasons, either it's like
>Either he thought that simply being doused in AvGas would somehow damage the drone
But a Su-27 has a lot better ways to accomplish that. Intimidation gone wrong is my guess
says or he's trying to dump weight, or it's just some other obscure reason I admit that I don't know. Whether or not I'm retarded, the pilot of the plane definitely is, risking his own aircraft and life for the possibility of knocking down an expendable unmanned vehicle which would be easier to just shoot down with the gun.
This. The glowmorons probably added the part about crashing into the drone, because it makes Russia sound bad, and is easier to explain than a maneuver causing the drone to lose control

>camera turns off during the "collision"

That camera issue is the satellite dish inside losing a good feed to the actual satellite in space.
It routinely happens during a hard turn, or very heavy winds.
Anything that shifts the aircraft quickly will cause it to lose signal for a bit, and the program will follow the last command until connection is reestablished.
I imagine it would also lose tracking if the aircraft was hit. Personally don't know that one - never got hit, myself.
The first camera fuzz was because there was an aircraft above it, and it lost a good signal to the satellite.
The second one was very similar to the sudden stop during a hard turn, like a loiter that's too small.
lol wouldnt the drone pitch up or down getting hit??
yet it does nothing> explain
That thing is surprisingly stable due to having fuckmassive wings. Most aircraft have wings shorter than the aircraft is long. MQ series have wings almost twice as long as the aircraft.
It still looks like it has a wobble in the shot, even if it stops short to circle the prop in red like no one could see it.
>t. Actual army MQ-7 operator. (Not MQ-9 - that's Air Force. They got the newer version, those pricks.)

Even if they're made in Russia, military jet planes are pretty resistant, especially the wings.
For example, in the 1998 Cavalese disaster where twenty people were killed when a United States Marine Corps EA-6B Prowler aircraft cut a cable supporting a cable car of an aerial lift.
Picrel is the aftermath, the plane even managed to fly back to base.
I love how one of the guys flying the prowler was dumb enough to film the whole joyride and then tell people he destroyed the tape
Really made a funny "A few good men" situation for the court marshal lol
>Violate multiple safety regulations >Kill 20 people >Go to jail for four and a half months for obstruction of justice
This was pretty crazy to read about
Apparently he hit it with the tip of his tail by accident whed attempting to burn it with afterburner. Fucker was lucky that it didn't took his entire tail wing.
>Why lie and say we didn’t know Pearl was going to be attacked when we had already broken their codes and knew about the operation?
Believe it or not, and this may come as a shock to you, the military often gets things wrong. Information may not have been passed up the chain correctly. It may not have passed ALL the way up the chain, since that is primarily a presidential matter. It may have been discounted as inaccurate, or disbelieved due to how crazy an idea it was considered. Why in the world would Japan bring the US into a Pacific war when there were still chances it might otherwise sit out? We may not have cracked the codes at that point.
None of this matters to you, because when you say "we," you aren't American, and this entire post is just disingenuous trolling.
Upgraded versions. >Su-27: Original edition, single seat, fighter >Su-30: Two-seat fighter/export edition >Su-34: Barely the same plane, heavily modified to attack ground targets like tanks instead of other planes. Two people sit side-by-side, has a microwave and a 'toilet' that is basically a pipe you piss in >Su-33: Carrier version - bigger wings, stronger gear, air-to-air refueling, single seat >Su-35: Modern version, has thrust vectoring, multi-role instead of just being a fighter, single seat >Su-37: Experimental plane to make sure thrust vectoring is a good idea
That's what globohomo says.
Probably was doused in fuel and then lit and grilled with afterburner but that makes globohomo look weak so they fabricated story where reason for MQ-9 being raped is actually incompetence of ruskies pilots.
How stupid do you have to be to risk your life to bumper car a drone out of the sky? Just shot it with your weapons or smash a less expensive explosive drone into it. Don't use a heavily armed manned fighter jet, with wingman, to smack it out of the sky like some thuggish falcon. Retarded subhumans, do they not equip russian MIGs with main guns?
because a collision leaves the Russian MoD some wiggle room so it doesn't seem like an outright hostile action and more like intercept SOP that got sloppy.
Shooting down a drone in international airspace shows clear intent to kill any plane outside of Russian airspace.
Might be just another "it was definitely a stray Ukranian rocket that hit Poland that's why we prohibit any external investigation" copeout and reaper got actually just shot. Or puccnr being retarded as always. Both are consistent with how USA and poccnr acted before.
As I understand, an MQ-9 costs 31 million dollars a pop. Will Russia be paying for the drone they caused to crash? The evidence says it was their fault, so they should be the ones to foot the bill.
So this is the ultimate Russian victory? Not 2nd Kyiv offensive, not the fall of Bakhmut, not the liberation of Kherson but random American drone destroyed?
>Lol the fuckin baby rapists, higher ranking officers that sodomize mobiks, street shitting Pajeets and tiny dicked Chinks in this thread.
FTFY. Also post guns you noguns gay.
I saw this show on cable one time, the russians are sending jets to harass a US carrier, and the navy flyboys like flip[ upside down over the MIG, and takes a snapshot lol. That is what Drone pilot should of done
I agree. Russia should start shooting satellites down, I would love to see you dumbasses get vaporizes for even trying it. Or I should say them, since you're a fifth-columnist that should be forcibly deported to live in Russia
Even burning out the camera/sensor base.
>pour what is basically kerosene on something flying at a cruising speed of 150-200mph >imagining that enough of it is going to stick to the surface that you can ignite it with your afterburner
Ok well you fly through the air at 150-200mph and I'll dump kerosene on you then light you up with an afterburner and we'll see how well you handle it.
So now that the dust has settled and brown people have lost their interest in raiding, what will be the repercussions? Russians intended to harass the drone and prevent it from doing its mission then bumbled and rammed it, taking down aircraft in international airspace is unsurprisingly not cool with a lot of countries. CAP flights for black sea drones now?
Escort for drones sort of defeats the purpose, I'd think. Probably already a replacement flying the same patrol - It's a reaper, they aren't disposable, but they are replaceable.
Considering it's Russia lashing out the only way they can without starting actual hostilities, I'd say stay the course and keep supplying Ukraine with gear because it's clearly working. On a related note, are there any pics of anything yet?
>CAP flights for black sea drones now?
Unlikely, for now. Puccia will not risk repeating this incident. They like to act tough but that was risky and they could have lost one of their jets. Also, just think about this:
Total Aid to Ukraine (US+EU): 73bn+55bn=128bn
One (1) MQ-9 reaper: 0.0169bn
Estimated Military Costs For Russia: 900mil/day*386days=347.4bn
Or 53.25x MQ-9s / day, 20556x MQ-9s total
Just sit back and enjoy the fact that for every 1$ """wasted""" in Ukraine, mighty rossyia is paying 2.71$. That is a yearly ROI of 171%!
>what will be the repercussions?
it seems like nothing
I don't think the western powers want to step up their involvement with the conflict and therefore won't. and I don't think the Russians seriously want to bait them into escalating either. Austin and Shoigu apparently even had their first phone conversation since the invasion over this. I assume it'll just be written off as a $24m shenanigan (which apparently America is quite capable of doing) and we won't see any change to RoE on either side. just a spot of international geopolitical banter really
Pretty easy. Just go as slow as they can with reasonable control, come up behind and put the missile launcher on the wingtip into the prop to fuck it up. Drone now has no thrust. Pass in front of it to induce vortex turbulence, throwing it out of control. During the prop destruction maybe some damage to elevators.. So it won't glide nearly as far as optimal.
The MQ9 flys pretty slow compared to the Su-27 I really do believe it was an accident.
They dumped fuel and shit to bully the UAV and clipped it. People in DCS have run little sims dumping fuel on drones and you can really see how dangerous the tactic is.
Ehm, clearly an incident and even if it wasn't the raptor was invading international water that russia is entitled to claim anyway for historical reasons.
>Either he thought that simply being doused in AvGas would somehow damage the drone
But a Su-27 has a lot better ways to accomplish that. Intimidation gone wrong is my guess
Probably trying to do it without evidence because vatmorons are retarded.
You know what's the funniest thing? Whoever was the pilot that did the thing, they'll send him to the most lethal engagements from now on to guarantee he never speaks about it.
> russia have to have deniability to take down a single USA drone > Russia carpet bombed wagner with B-52's openly, and openly arm russias enemies > The USA defence budget is in the same ballpark as Russias entire GDP
I mean you gotta take whatever victories you can get at this point
Why dont militaries develop some device to purposefully harass opposing aircraft without damaging them? Like a sideways mount of firecrackers and sparks. I'd imagine that dumping flares would be too hazardous.
>insult russian aircraft for decades claiming the only thing they are designed to do well is acrobatics for airshows and are inferior at everything else >russian aircraft does some acrobatics to dab on a drone >noooo unprofessional you were out of control and this is impossible!
??? I think its cool they actually managed to use their superior maneuverability for something practical
>Su-27 hit a propeller of pictured without crashing itself.
I didn't believe russians before, see no good reason to do so now.
Drone went down because russian plane dumped fuel all over it, not because it hit it, and the reason it had to resort to such a ridiculous method as that is prolly because russian plane was unarmed lol.
So they made up that shit to try and not look so fucking retarded...
Notice how this is unironically the one singular picture of chud story time that gets posted over and over and over
It's almost like this shit is a non issue

For example, in the 1998 Cavalese disaster where twenty people were killed when a United States Marine Corps EA-6B Prowler aircraft cut a cable supporting a cable car of an aerial lift.
Picrel is the aftermath, the plane even managed to fly back to base.
The plane touched the propeller with its nose or wing tips, even if it took damage it was probably minimal
We saw the video, they hit it with the rear engine or horizontal stabiliser.
planes want to stay in the air, it's helicopters that defy God
I love how one of the guys flying the prowler was dumb enough to film the whole joyride and then tell people he destroyed the tape
Really made a funny "A few good men" situation for the court marshal lol
>Violate multiple safety regulations
>Kill 20 people
>Go to jail for four and a half months for obstruction of justice
This was pretty crazy to read about
Italy it's basically an american colony, sadly we couldn't do much about it.
I bet it was something like this.
None of this matters to you, because when you say "we," you aren't American, and this entire post is just disingenuous trolling.
thoughts?
Thoughts on Drag Queen Story time?
Thoughts on sodomy being okay when its a military punishment?
a complete non-issue being used by republicans to rally the schizo right
Yea and it works lel
You come across as a pedophile, or groomer enabler at best. Creepy for short.
>the globohomo ZOG garden gnome trannies are why I'm a virgin, monke save me aieeeeeeeeeeeeee
Least mindbroken 4chancuck
>someone makes a schizo ramble post
>everyone shits on him for it
>same person comes back and replies to everyone who replied saying 'omg chud raid'
or maybe you just sounded silly.
What the heck is the difference between su27, su30, su34 and su35? This doesn't make any sense to me.
Upgraded versions.
>Su-27: Original edition, single seat, fighter
>Su-30: Two-seat fighter/export edition
>Su-34: Barely the same plane, heavily modified to attack ground targets like tanks instead of other planes. Two people sit side-by-side, has a microwave and a 'toilet' that is basically a pipe you piss in
>Su-33: Carrier version - bigger wings, stronger gear, air-to-air refueling, single seat
>Su-35: Modern version, has thrust vectoring, multi-role instead of just being a fighter, single seat
>Su-37: Experimental plane to make sure thrust vectoring is a good idea
The su34 sounds pretty comfy.
It's not. They are already leaky rust buckets even though they went into service just 10 years ago.
this type of plane have an almost airliner cockpit
>picrel is an su34
>a6e tram: https://farm1.staticflickr.com/54/193728704_c7f748e5e1.jpg
Every damn plane is. The F-18s leak more fluid than the ocean the carrier's in.
forgot the damn image
So I'm guessing this means that Ukraine will be getting a lot of long range missiles.
That's what globohomo says.
Probably was doused in fuel and then lit and grilled with afterburner but that makes globohomo look weak so they fabricated story where reason for MQ-9 being raped is actually incompetence of ruskies pilots.
>without crashing itself
How'd you know, Raja sir?
Why are you questioning it pan Wojcik?
Yes obviously Russia would tell the world if its pilot ejected. Notoriously honest people the Russians?
>Notoriously honest people the Russians?
They can't be worse than democrats lying wise.
Americans ignore this Indian man trying to sow discontent.
Pentagon just released infographics of what really happened.
At least it's not another goddamn wojak/pepe.
Mentioning the 2 week special operation gets you thrown in prison and then sent to the frontlines.
Failing to bend over for a chud gets YOU sent to Leavenworth.
su-27 is 8x the weight
It's like truck driving over moped
The US in retaliation should start shooting down vatnig aircraft and nuking vatnig population centers.
Please let me live in a timeline where the NATO Tiger Typhoon squadrons get to shootdown the Russian air force
As I understand, an MQ-9 costs 31 million dollars a pop. Will Russia be paying for the drone they caused to crash? The evidence says it was their fault, so they should be the ones to foot the bill.
Pay the repair costs of Nordstream 2 and they will pay you the MQ-9.
We currently have their forex funds frozen. We can unilaterally deduct from that.
Sorry, we don't answer to subhumans.
why the fuck is it so expensive ?
low volume electronics?
anon are fucking sick of skitzo vatmoron crap. Once you see you can't unsee. Awareness of vatmoronology is the actual redpill
>skitzo vatmoron crap
both for and against trannies story hour. See how it works?
>If you hate drag queen story hour you must be a zigger
Fucking retard
So this is the ultimate Russian victory? Not 2nd Kyiv offensive, not the fall of Bakhmut, not the liberation of Kherson but random American drone destroyed?
If they take 20 more years in the Ukraine, then have to run away, they’re doing no worse than the US did in Afghanistan.
Afghanistan doesn't border the USA.
Oh nooo. Not a picture of drag queens posted from an iPhone! I totally now support my greatest enemy
t. binland
You are ruled by millenial sluts and Russia is your greatest enemy??!? Lmao
>t. ruled by boomer satanists who rape children
>International waters
>Russias border
>zog
This your brain on krokodil
>Russian military rapes babies
>Russia isn't my enemy
KYS gay. You're either Chechen or Australian.
>Lol the fuckin baby rapists, higher ranking officers that sodomize mobiks, street shitting Pajeets and tiny dicked Chinks in this thread.
FTFY. Also post guns you noguns gay.
Through incompetence. The pilot is a retard and flew too close to the drone.
I heard the Su-27 pilots were meowing on guard.
Last Saturday we had one American and one British drone and 2 British fighters in the same usual area (i was checking flight radar)
at the tradeoff of American losses vs Russian losses so far this isn't too bothersome.
Bots answering nonsense to this thread to bump it up, pathetic.
UAV's like this should carry a 500 or 1000 lb bomb. If they get to close and fk around hitting it again remotely detonate it and teach them a lesson.
Yet more heteros get charged for child porn than trannies
I'd fly over it and make the jet heat melt the propeller or wings. They were probably trying to ignite it with the jet flame after dumping fuel on it. Is that possible or would the fuel dry up/blow off before they could light it up? Seems like it's worth a try to douse then ignite, but burning a wing or propeller would definitely work. Even burning out the camera/sensor base.
>pour what is basically kerosene on something flying at a cruising speed of 150-200mph
>imagining that enough of it is going to stick to the surface that you can ignite it with your afterburner
Ok well you fly through the air at 150-200mph and I'll dump kerosene on you then light you up with an afterburner and we'll see how well you handle it.
Probably literally nothing, since the kersosene is likely to evaporate. Did the dumped Kerosene behind the plane set fire? No, so why would I.
kek
post guns
Truly a /kbiz/ moment.
>what will be the repercussions?
it seems like nothing
I don't think the western powers want to step up their involvement with the conflict and therefore won't. and I don't think the Russians seriously want to bait them into escalating either. Austin and Shoigu apparently even had their first phone conversation since the invasion over this. I assume it'll just be written off as a $24m shenanigan (which apparently America is quite capable of doing) and we won't see any change to RoE on either side. just a spot of international geopolitical banter really
>what will be the repercussions?
Same as always: the Ukrainians get some new and exciting toy to play with.
I always love the contrast here, how the Russian version of this is some wordswordswords bullshit and the American one is simply kill/death ratios
The MQ9 flys pretty slow compared to the Su-27 I really do believe it was an accident.
They dumped fuel and shit to bully the UAV and clipped it. People in DCS have run little sims dumping fuel on drones and you can really see how dangerous the tactic is.
like so
Ehm, clearly an incident and even if it wasn't the raptor was invading international water that russia is entitled to claim anyway for historical reasons.
Those are Ukrainian planes.
the ukrainian airforce was completely wiped out 3 days into the war buddy
you forgot the two dots at the end
why are they using Epstein's prison camera on a drone?
If they deliberately wanted to down the plane, why not just send a R-27 instead of using jet fuel as some kind of improvised weapon?
Probably trying to do it without evidence because vatmorons are retarded.
you can almost hear the panicked
>Blyyyyaaaaaaattt!
from this webm.
Controlled interception my ass
>Su-27 hit a propeller of pictured without crashing itself.
>How?
https://files.catbox.moe/id50gb.MP4
You know what's the funniest thing? Whoever was the pilot that did the thing, they'll send him to the most lethal engagements from now on to guarantee he never speaks about it.
https://www.latimes.com/world-nation/story/2023-03-16/video-russian-fighter-jet-dumping-fuel-us-spy-drone
>cause an unintentional mid-air due to reckless flying
>lie about it because scared of Daddy US
>retards brag about it online
???
Russian media was complaining about it , how the only westerners who support them are retarded
>Pajeet obsessed with shit
obsessed with shit
probably something like in the notion of
>haha, this time i'm the one making a poop joke about you, sirs!
> russia have to have deniability to take down a single USA drone
> Russia carpet bombed wagner with B-52's openly, and openly arm russias enemies
> The USA defence budget is in the same ballpark as Russias entire GDP
I mean you gotta take whatever victories you can get at this point
Please the superior Russian pilot and his aircraft are clearly undamaged.
Probably a superior Su-27 landing technique. Patriotic Russians on the ground assisted pilot.
Russian jets cra-ACK
>CANT PLAY IN THE BACK YARD
>HORNETS
This is justified though because the F/A-18 is actually cool
>american pilots get 10x the flight time of russian pilots but crash less
lmao
That F-18 was also a Marine Corps one so it was likely old as shit and had poor maintenance on it.
Why dont militaries develop some device to purposefully harass opposing aircraft without damaging them? Like a sideways mount of firecrackers and sparks. I'd imagine that dumping flares would be too hazardous.
Why don't militaries just invent a weapon that defeats all their enemies?
You mean this footage?
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-64975766
Hold on, I didn't even noticed they tried this THREE times.
>Can you explain to me why the US needs to deploy flying robots on Russias border?
it's objectively funny
There are people ITT that unironically believe a single word coming out of the mouths of the same government gays that did 9/11
>insult russian aircraft for decades claiming the only thing they are designed to do well is acrobatics for airshows and are inferior at everything else
>russian aircraft does some acrobatics to dab on a drone
>noooo unprofessional you were out of control and this is impossible!
??? I think its cool they actually managed to use their superior maneuverability for something practical
Colliding with slow flying aircraft is a practical use of supermaneuverability?
it worked didn't it?
A Cessna could have done that, if it could make it to that altitude. Drones are disposable
LOL if the maneuverability was so great, then why did it take multiple passes for the plane to actually dump fuel on the drone?
scientific experiment. they now know exactly how much fuel is needed to break the propeller
So they made up that shit to try and not look so fucking retarded...
> prolly because russian plane was unarmed lol.
Retard
Notice that much like vatmorons, leftists run from the truth
>US apologizes to Russia and promises to not fly their planes in the Black sea anymore
Is this the biggest L for the US since Afghanistan
oblique belly hit going in the same direction
Notice how this is unironically the one singular picture of chud story time that gets posted over and over and over
It's almost like this shit is a non issue
