Bradley is a heavier IFV capable of taking on MBTs.

Stryker is faster and less offensively capable, usually only a 50 cal, but holds more troops to move about.

How long until they find the victims of Russian torture with butts full of polyurethane foam?

        Anonymous

The polyurethane foam might not actually be a war crime, you need to seal the anus of a corpse to prevent liquidified guts from seeping over everything.
If the people were alive when it was put in, then it obviously is a war crime, but if it's basic corpse preparation then it might not be.

So we already reached the "normalization" stage of the vatnik war crime justification cycle.

Google maps tells me that this means there are now only 25 kilometres remaining between the line of contact and the last remaining railway link to the southern landbridge

Whats the normal Uke arty range, 20km?

          Anonymous

yeah, 20 clicks for original flavour dumb fire shells, which is what they want hitting that railroad to make sure they can keep it out of commission, but it should be within range of base bleed shells right now
bear in mind also that the ukies won't risk their big guns by bringing them right up to the line of contact, so they still have some pushing to do either way

The west side flanks two of the defense lines, south there is only one, east there are none.
Also, now the back line fortifications and depots will enter into artillery range.

Stryker: APC battle taxi used to ferry trips to the front.
Bradley: ifv and apparent spearhead of ukranian assaults

        Anonymous

Stryker is only .50cal armed but is lighter, carries 9 dismounts, and is wheeled
So its not as protected and less capable in a fight, but you can fit an extra weapons squad in a stryker company and its faster to move around operationally at the cost of moving slower tactically

The bradley has an autocannon, tracks, but only 7 dismounts
So its better armed, armored, and better offroad
But its heavier, more fuel thirsty, and you only get 3 squads per mech company

In the US context, strykers are used in stryker battalions
These are pure units, each company in the battalion is a stryker company, and each stryker company has all its rifle squads mounted in strykers, even the mortar section ride in strykers
And each company gets 2 stryker dragoons, which are armed with autocannons instead of the .50, to add some punch
In combat, the stryker can easily slip between APC and just hang back and ferry troops or act as IFVs, the dragoon is made for this

M2 brads are used in combined arms battalions
Unlike strykers, a combined arms battalion is composed of mixed M1 abrams and M2 bradley companies, the ratio being decided by tactical conditions
The mech infantry maneuver with the M1s in combat and act as support for it, protecting them directly or seizing objectives that might hinder their advance
While a stryker team might leave behind their stryker and only call on it later, the M2 and its dismounts are a single unit throughout the whole fight, with the brad acting as an additional squad member with heavy weapons

At the operational level, the stryker can be thought of as a medium unit, between the heavy armored units and the light infantry
Their main role is as a fast reaction unit, much faster than infantry on foot but less logistically burdensome as tracked tanks, and they can operate independently, as a stryker battalion has a lot of infantry in it to take objectives while still being able to dish out damage with javelins and autocannons

It does have one, on the hull above the second and third wheel on its left side.
I think there is a hole in the front left side, maybe the engine was hit sideways thus the throwing of the front pieces, was likely abandoned after and left to burn out.
