Storm shadow strike in Mariupol

A command bunker was struck by a Storm shadow around the same time Shoigu was visiting Mariupol. This is a satellite image of the damage. Is he dead?

Is this today or from a strike from yesterday?
If yesterday, I thought the airport strike was on the actual runway with the parked choppers.

It's from yesterday and no, it was gayolocated with high confidence to this bunker, which is now seen destroyed.
That being said, killing Shoigu would be unironically a bad thing for Ukraine

        >That being said, killing Shoigu would be unironically a bad thing for Ukraine

I know her personally pockets like 25% of the entire defense budget himself, so his corruption only is a hinderance. But the damage is done, and it's not like competent uncorrupted people are behind Shoigu, he would be replaced by one of his underlings (ie co-conspirator for corruption). And the disruption and shame of losing such a high ranking figure would be worth it.

          Anonymous

Autocracies select for loyalty and low-ambition over competency, ergo whoever replaces Shoigu would more than likely be less competent than him (since Shoigu wouldn't want a competent underling as a potential rival).

People meme about Shoigu and Gerasimov but their involvement is literally the only thing keeping Russian forces together.
Early attempts to sideline them (even to assassinate them by their competition in Russia) resulted in disastrous defeats for the Russian armed forces.

Idk man, Shoigu seems really incompetent. Gerasimov appears to be a brilliant military theoretician, but lacking in practice.

Is Russia manned by Slowpokes? Ukraine and UK announced the Storm Shadows, confirmed they were being used, and given the Russians ample time to adapt. If they put a bunch of generals and officers in a bunk that got hit by a bunker buster storm-shadow then that is 100% on the Russians. Should have moved out like a week ago!

Depends on the fuse setting anon. It can create a larger hole if detonated just after entry or even before the surface.
Also, iirc they can replace the shaped charge with a different warhead if they want, but on its own it's already quite explosive so yeah.

A shepherd-boy, who watched a flock of sheep near a village,
brought out the villagers three or four times by crying out,
"Wolf! Wolf!" and when his neighbors came to help him, laughed at

The Shepherd-boy, now really alarmed, shouted in an agony of
terror: "Pray, do come and help me; the Wolf is killing the
