>Speak samogitian
You couldn't think of anything more dumb? How can someone hear slavic and say yup thats lithuanian. Un-fricking-real level of ignorance and cretinism.
>In his writings, Kalinowski advocated independence of Lithuania (understood as the former Grand Duchy of Lithuania) from Russia, return to the Polish-Lithuanian federation, protection of the Belarusian language, and decisive social reforms (enfranchisement of peasants, parcelling out large estates). He was a supporter of including the peasant masses in the armed struggle for independence. He was also a supporter of returning to the Uniate church and an opponent of Orthodoxy.
Gee sounds like someone who hate polaks and russhits equally. Fr fr no cap.
Ironically, as a Lithuanian, I've never heard of this guy before in my life. Instead, in school, I've been taught more about Polaks like Tadeusz Kościuszko or Emilia Plater.
You wouldn't expect from people who lived 70 years without democracy and suddenly got voting rights to elect a decent guy and not a populist pro-Russian rule-with-an-iron-fist schmuk, would you?
>One side has bunch of #bossbabes holding some kind of tablecloth looking rag >Other has topless chicks yelling at me
I've made my choice, and it doesn't involve snazzy pantsuits.
Where exactly do competent Belarusian soldiers come from? They cross train essentially exclusively with Russians so wouldn't that mean they're trash? Kind of goes against the Russians are shit soldiers narrative tbh.
There are special forces which represent the only competent part of the army, but obviously they are too small to be of great significance in the war. Drafted soldiers are even shitter than the Russians because of 20 years long narrative that Belarus should serve only as a delay for western armies until Russia comes and saves the day.
Most of us didn't even serve in Belarusian army. We're just highly motivated because it's our only way home. We get trained quite extensively in Ukraine
>worship a pole

Were you taught about 1863 at all then?
Don't listen to that guy, of course we were taught.
I'm curious, what are your views on Mickiewicz? Do you find him lithuanian?
>Emilia Plater

I still can't get over how Belarus elected Borat as president.
>Wawa weeva, iz naiz!

Poles kinda lucked out that their first Democratic president was a decent guy that didn't turn into a dictator.
He was, at best, very Meh as President but at least he carve a path to creating a democratic nation.
Eltsin was relatively democratic too, but that didn't help russians to get back into the Asiatic-style leadership
