Somaliland announces creation of anti satellite weapons. Somaliland war update

So unfortunately my friends I have bad news
Another uprising has started
This time in western Somaliland but the reasoning makes no sense as a Somaliland Solider was assassinated and now locals want to leave Somaliland. It's going to be a very violent dark day ahead.
Also in laascaanood Somaliland defeated some local militas in a small skirmish and captured a few technicals

I bet operatives based out of Djibouti did this.

China has a base in Djibouti. They're most likely behind it. I think they want to route a railway though Somaliland and into Somalia. UK wants a base in Somaliland which is another reason why other actors are fucking with them.

China is not directly involved in this. Why do you keep bringing them up all the time?

Why not though? You can go anywhere on this planet, lift a rock, and find CIA and American company interests under it. As has been the situation since the 1950s. China is is just doing the same now.

China is involved in a lot of shit, but they're not assassinating Somaliland officials and leaders. Wtf kind of logic even is that?
If China wanted to kill a Somalilander, they'd use a Somalian as an asset. And here you are saying it's the other way around? That's one of the most schizo shit I've ever heard.

I was thinking China is not so much involved in the assassination as it is in the riots and demonstrations. While the smaller clans have a completely understandable reason to be upset, this “blue revolution” feels tainted by foreign actors. It’s literally a color revolution lmao.

On a different note, how well armed is Somaliland’s rural population and minority clans compared to those in Somalia? Anything more than shitty AKs?

So now a rebellion has started against Somaliland itself, over the killing of a Somalilander soldier?

With this plus Sudan kicking off, the continent is in for more rough times. But i guess that's the norm.

You mean East Africa. Every region is separate and has their own insurgencies and bandits to deal with.

What's up with all this Blue Revolution stuff? Is it just foreign instigators?

Not necessarily. Somaliland is basically an Isaaq state (the biggest clan in the region, Somali government tried to genocide them in the 80s) and a lot of smaller clans living in Somaliland don't want to live under them and would rather allign themselves with Somalia, especially after the escalation in Lascanood. This might seem weird since Somalia is in a bad state right now, but this is actually a good thing if you're an individual tribe looking to gain more autonomy. You simply have a much better shot at self-governance if you go with Somalia, than if you stay in a more well-put together state like Somaliland

        Pretty much
Also there's a big issue where most development goes into the issaq portions but that's because they contain most of the population

how precious trust in a society is
how tragic when those of us who live in stable states have it and take it for granted while constantly eroding it with dishonesty and cynicism.

Sorry this is simple cargo cultism, they have no idea how to actually deorbit a satellite.
