Losing just 2 is a big deal. UA was smart in taking out a couple in a short time frame. It fricks with pilot & crews heads. They know UA is prioritizing them as targets. It's not like Russia can just get another crew to man one if another crew refuses to go on a mission. Very specific technical training. And these jets are really the only things that can be reliable in detecting large amounts of drone waves heading into Russia, which I suspect we will start seeing & will be the main topic discussed in the months to come for the war.

That depends entirely on if the Russians have anything left that is worthy to bomb.

I could honestly see them having other people's army take place in the parade this year, like the Norks and Iranians, just to avoid the embarrassment of the last one and go "Gracious Russia has decided to allow it's allies to display their prowess this year as a sign of friendship and deep believe in shared victory against the forces that oppose use".

It would be rather cucked of them, but I understand that they rather like that sort of thing.

The russification projects for civilian aircraft have been failures or eternally delayed projects, thus far. SSJ100R is dead on the water, just checked the MS-21:
      >On 7 April 2022 Mikhail Mishustin said that the substitution of domestic assemblies should be completed within 2–3 years,[11] and the Russian government expects that the percentage of domestic components in the MC-21 will be 97% by 2022–2024, making it independent of imported equipment.
      wait for it...
      >At the beginning of 2024, it became clear that the launch date for the MC-21 series would be shifted to 2025-2026. Due to the fact that Russian aircraft manufacturers are forced to use domestic components, the aircraft turned out to be six tons heavier and no longer met the declared characteristics.
and I don't think it's even just a matter of resources being diverted towards military programs.

chips are small commodities, a man with a briefcase can carry all the required chips for a year's supply of missiles.

          Anonymous

          A Kh-101 contains at least 53 chips.

          Lets assume a chip, including packaging, is 40 x 40 x 10mm. 16mm3.

          A briefcase is approx 40 x 30 x 15cm. 18,000mm3.

A briefcase can thus hold ~1,125 chips, or enough for 21 Kh-101 missiles.

It's an AWACS, so think of it as a radar that operates at really high altitudes and can see far deeper into enemy territory then a ground unit. Rather important for avoiding surprise enemy airplanes where you don't want them, as well as allowing your flights to operate safely by knowing the airspace is clear.
