Skunk Works

Does anyone have any work experience in Lockheed's Skunk Works program? I have alot of work experience in nuclear propulsion and military programs - i've always wanted to work for Skunk Works and wonder how fulfilling the work is?

It looks so damn impressive

It's not limited to the chair force either. Behold, an actual drawing taken from a furry porn magazine that was licensed for use by Uncle Sam.

femanon/frickbuddy's dad sprays one of the secret coatings onto F-35s during production. She got to tour that factory with him, im super jealous of that.
that's the closest ive come to classified aircraft production.

Not really important - just thinking about next steps and something like skunk works would be ideal. Was wondering if anyone heard anything about their program?

If you're DIA/FBI and your boss told you to come here and fish, they're an out of touch idiot. You want to find a security problem? Look at who Chinese grad students in the US are befriending. It seems every young employee at every small tech company with a DoD contract has a Chinese national friend who's a grad student in engineering/chemistry/physics. That gives them access not only to HUMINT, but physical access to their laptops, their phones, their routers, their work bags - sometimes physical access to the buildings they work in. There's no low hanging fruit for you here.

Chinese graduate school students are always monitored , you'll be surprised the level of projects even the most at risk students can obtain. That being said they are kept on a short leash.

These forums are very informative , regardless.

Anon, just walk in there, apply for a job and see what happens. You don't have to rely on opinions of some morons from mongolian throat singing forum.

Give it a try, see what happens.

Worked with a Q as a intern during school , worked with the weapons program. It is eye opening to see the level of out right fricking morons work with our most sensitive sectors pertaining to national security. It is concerning.

Buddy of mine from college worked there for a time, before getting frustrated and leaving for Grumman.

As a new engineer out of school the didn't get him a security clearance right away. (He still had to go through background check shit though) Because he didn't have the clearance they would give him a part to work on, and if he asked what it was supposed to do, they would tell him that was classified.

So he had to design a part with some basic parameters but not knowing what it was doing. He would finish a part, and they would tell him that would not work, he would ask for more information to fix it and be told that is classified.

Skunkworks seems super cool but after hearing this I wouldn't want to go in without an active clearance.

He would probably have to put up with that for years which would fricking suck but I imagine eventually you would get to do some really cool shit.

Don't do it, it's hell. The most interesting thing that happened is that some moron got caught spraying the low observability coating on his truck to "beat the speed traps once and for all." If you really want to do some crazy shit look into Space Park.

I applied to Lockheed many times (not skunk works) and was interviewed many times. Lockheed does not like to hire white men. I doubt anyone would just come in off the street to Skunk Works anyways.
Apply for another job somewhere else. Tell them you are some diversity subhuman. If hired, then do some years at another location, then try to transfer for promotion of something.

If you really were a nuke, then just get a job at a civilian powerplant and be some Homer Simpson jackoff making a shit ton of money right off the street. I went to high school with a moron that became a squid nuke, and that is what he did, after dumping the Navy after 2 pumps.

Even if you did encounter one of the handful of people that actually work at Skunk Works on this board, they couldn't talk about anything they do there.
