I just wanted to make a simple leather wallet. What designs worked for you?
I'm really drawn towards the 'one piece of leather' designs, but I'm open to other styles.

Made this a few years ago. It looks slightly nicer in person, but it’s also worn a bit.
I made the design myself, I wanted to be able to carry some cash, but mainly my cards, but in as slim and small as a package possible.
It was fairly simple to make, first leather project for me. I think I have the templates I drew at home and I could digitize them for ya if you wanted.
Sure. I may end up making several wallets to see what fits me best.
what kinda of leather is that?
A simple money-clip wallet with two pockets inside, nothing fancy, does the job perfect, ask if you have any question coz I make goods out of leather and might be able to help someone
I can't make sense of it. How do the cards go in? How does the clip work?
Cards go from inside on the side closest to the clip and the clip, well, clips the money
what's that coin there?
A token from colledge cantene
What's the metal thing in the top?

This is by far my favorite simple wallet ive had, they dont make them anymore and their new versions suck dick so I made my own. I dont need anything more.
I have one of these things from CountyComm. It is not leather, but if you can sew leather at all, you could make one pretty easy. It's literally just a rectangle in the middle with a piece sown on each side to make 2 pockets. I keep cards, a couple folded up 20s and a couple bandaids in there. (the kids use the bandaids more than you'd guess.)
Yeah, it looks pretty simple to make.
I think I might buy some crazy horse leather and some strong thread.
My favorite one, wanted one specifically with now sewing. I don't know how many years I have this by now, it's indestructible.
Copy the design, it's simple enough. It's so cheap though I just bought it.
That does look really good. I may want test out some patterns on craft paper first.
FYI all these buttons and shit on pocket wallets are for hipsters and they will run holes in your jeans
Why tHE FRICK AM I ASKED TO TIP ON A $65 WALLET THAT I BOUGHT ONLINE
to show your support for the hustlin' and bustlin' team! all money goes towards making better products and our ~~*investors*~~
>bought crazy horse even after i told you its hipstershit buttons and rivets and their edges aren't even finished
ngmi
I like the hipstershit buttons and rivets and need a new wallet
I can finish it when it gets here
It would take 5 minutes max to give the edges a decent finish. What the frick is this
how did you do the engraved words? can you describe in detail please.
I’d like to make simple leather crafts but I’m not sure what tools to buy or where to find them. Does anyone know the main things I should look for?
Cutter for cutting leather, glue for putting the pieces together, wing divider to make a line for the pricking iron, pricking iron to make holes for the thread (buy different sizes of pricking iron, the large one for straights and the small one for corners, watch a video on it and you will understand), thread and needle, edge beveler to round the edges and a canvas cloth/leather burnisher to finish your edges. I started by getting a $30 kit with many tools and it was decent enough to know if I liked leathercraft, you don't actually need many tools to get something of good quality, in fact I would say leather quality matters most.
Thank you
I made on a couple years ago where I just laid a piece of red velvet ontop of a piece of leather, sewed them together, folded it and sewed the sides. It was super basic with just the one pocket to put a couple bills in and a couple cards. I got a lot of compliments on it too.
Some guy makes these; they could hardly come much simpler
