Should I put a forward grip, bipod, or a grip pod (those 2 in one thingies) on my rifle? This isn't my run and gun rifle, this will be more medium engagements. Picrel is the rifle I'm currently working on

how about you get some optics and a better charging handle first?
Nobody who can afford a scar would buy a grip pod as a substitute for an actual bipod. Prove me wrong and timestamp it.
>this is not my run and gun rifle
>“medium engagements”
You type like a LARPing gay and your gun is pristine. Not a speck of dirt. Shoot it sometime
It's literally brand new I just put 40 rounds through it for the first time
The charging handle is fine and it's new so I'm working on it.
Ok
>The charging handle is fine
it's not.
Trust me.
I own 3 SCARs.
What do you dislike about it exactly
you're gonna scrap your knuckles once you put an optic on that. All of mine have the KDG charging handle, but guess what? The FDE one DOESN'T FRICKING FIT. Made in America for ya right there.
The new scar charging handles are specifically longer and angled differently so that doesn't happen
NRCH scar?
Yessir. I've tried out some red dot and magnifier combos and it doesn't seem to scratch my hands.
hey hey, take some pictures of the NRCH mechanism. I'm curious on how it works.
Bitte Mein Konig!
Dude gimme a break I had to pull out the rifle twice for this thread before locking her up again I don't wanna bother. Now can you suggest a bipod/forward grip and what you like about them? Also that is a nice collection. I am aiming to have three rifles at most (so far have 2/3)
For your SCAR17(?), I’d suggest an angled forward grip or a stubby vertical grip. If you shoot from the bench a lot, you’re notice that a sandbag or two is vastly superior to bipods. With an angled grip, you can rest it easily on the bag. With a short vertical grip, you move it so the gin rests on the bags with the rail, and you can use your grip to leverage barricades in unconventional shooting positions. I use the Magpul AFG2 on my 16 and
NOW, GIMME THEM INNER WORKING PHOTOS.
It's a scar 16s my fren not a 17 also I don't wanna go dragging it out again because my gf is napping
YOU BETTER DELIVER!
Are you that chink who hates america?
I love America. I dislike Ameritards. Not all Americans are Ameritards.
nice SSR anon
Get an KDG MREX rail for your SCAR and then decide if you still want to put a grip on it. You might not want one with a full-length grip you can C-clamp.
> tfw my $2k MCX does everything my upgraded $4k SCAR 16 does
That's cool but sig QA is garbaggio my two LGS has people returning sig shit all the time
Just YouTube it fren
those features are evil and should be deemed illegal.
>Trying to turn a SCAR into a functional weapon
People actually do that? I thought we all got our Scars to style on poors and take nice pictures for showing off. My home defense is based around a $300 shockwave
Were it so easy to just google what you should put on your rifle.
But seriously, nobody here can tell you what you should run (at least not without shit being flung like water balloons). Try some things out, if it works, keep it. if it doesn't, dont keep it. If it works but you find something you like more, replace it then. Sure it'll cost money, but you bought a NRCH SCAR. Surely you can afford to play around and see what works and what doesn't
A VFG does help with handling maneuvering whatever.
Just know SCAR gets heavy quick. Add light (e.g. SF 600DF) +optic (e.g. EOtech EXPS) + loaded mag = ~10 lbs (approx). You might want to look into getting an MLOK replacement rail system to cut weight if you can afford it. But only do that after you get ammo.
