Thread for Shot Show announcement hopes:
>HK MP7 for American consumers
>Steyr producing a CQB style rail that doesn't make me remove my foregrip
>Aimpoint with an EO-Tech style reticle
>A cool 9mm bullpup from anyone reputable
>Laugo Alien price reduction / a cheaper version
>Any cool revolvers (not that bullpup thing)
What we'll get
>Another AR
>Another Glock
>Another 2011

221 fireball pdw
YES BRO! In an MP7 type form factor. Frick around with the grip angle and make it out of thin steel, and the OAL shouldn’t be a problem. Bona fide intermediate cartridge in a super short 3 pound package
Even though I like the idea, and love .221 Fireball: not gonna happen. If you've ever handled a Desert Eagle or AMT Automag in .50 AE or .30 Carbine, respectively, you'll know the grips are already huge - and that's with a single stack mag and cartridges that are about 5mm shorter than .221 Fireball. That means you can't put the magazine in the grip, so you either go bullpup or conventional rifle. You can imagine the target demographic for a bullpup .221 (me and two other dudes, probably). As for the conventional rifle: what does it offer that a conventional .224 AR does not? KAC tried it with their PDW (although that was .221 necked up to 6mm), wasn't feasible really.
I wasn't really thinking about a grip mag, just a compact at style like the dbx 57
So, conventional rifle layout. At that point you need to basically shrinkify an AR-15 in a lot of dimensions, which costs a lot of money, reduces aftermarket commonality while reducing firepower. There's no way it would sell, basically an expensive less powerful AR. I'd love it though, especially if it's short and handy enough.
Pretty much, the main draw is that 221 is efficient out of the short barrel so you get higher velocities than a 5.56 and less flashbang effect.
The only thing that could possibly excite me would be the announcement of the discovery of a mountain of surplus that is ready for import.
>keystone arms mini milsurp series finally releasing the 4 other fricking rifles they promised (one is for sure coming this year though, Enfield I believe)
>Glock 17X
>more dragunov clones
>SHOT SHOW formal announcement of the next American Civil War.
What would a 17X be?
17 slide with 19 grip.
>Kel Tec introducing a new cowboy themed design to go with them opening a second factory in Wyoming, maybe a high capacity revolver using a Striker 12 like mechanism that you wind by spinning the cylinder
>a cheap way to shoot your guns that doesn't require using primers or involve using a laser and needing a camera to see where you're shooting
>a small dedicated .22lr frame double action revolver like the original S&W Ladysmith or Rossi Princess
>(one is for sure coming this year though, Enfield I believe)
The next one is a Springfield.
https://keystonesportingarmsllc.com/product/ksa-9130-mini-mosin-rifle-only/
>THE MINI MIL-SURP LINE WILL CONTINUE WITH THE NEXT IN THE SERIES BEING THE “SPRINGFIELD 1903” EXPECTED RELEASE WILL BE SOMETIME LATE IN 2022.
That's been normal for larger companies in recent years to build hype before the show.
>Kel Tec introducing a new cowboy themed design
WUT
How do injected molded clamshell receivers, hex bolts, and more hex bolts havce anything to do with cowboy?
> although I can see Kel Tech making a cowboy gun
> lever action
> 5.7
> fed from 50-round P90 mag
Yeah, come to think of it, this is very on brand for Kel Tec.
>not 9mm and fed from a fixed helical magazine with a stripper clip guide
>lever action
>.22lr
>150-200 round quad stack box magazine parallel to the barrel that slides in from the front of the handguard like the G11
>Rossi Princess
Speaking of Rossi, why tf don't they reintroduce their SxS coach gun.
They would have sold a boatload of these during the 2020 chimpouts after all the 12ga pumps were snapped up.
>Rossi makes a side by side with rabbit ears
Why the frick isn't this sold in the US?
>keystone arms mini milsurp series finally releasing the 4 other fricking rifles they promised (one is for sure coming this year though, Enfield I believe)
I just want them to have a magazine instead of single shot.
I also wouldn't mind a threaded muzzle for quiet times, but just gimme the freaking capacity and I'd be satisfied.
>I also wouldn't mind a threaded muzzle for quiet times,
They already offer the Mini M38 carbine that has a threaded muzzle.
Frick that's rad.
Now I just want a tiny mag and it's perfect.
>SHOT SHOW formal announcement of the next American Civil War.
Based
You are a Black person and a homosexual if you want that. Within a month the ammo situation would be so bad that people would be yearning for the halcyon days of the widespread ammo availability in January of fricking 2021.
>Within a month the ammo situation would be so bad
you're right, but only because we'd have used all our ammo killing leftists we'd have none left over for recreational shooting.
>the side I'm on would totally see an overwhelming victory within a month!
How the frick do morons manage to convince themselves of shit like this?
holy frick you are the most stuck up moronic Black person I've seen on /k/ in a long time.
It was a joke you dumb homosexual, not everyone on here is all serious all the time.
have a nice day my man, do the world a favor (that was serious, not a joke)
>seething this hard because someone didn't recognize you were only pretending to be moronic, when there's no indication you're only pretending
>seething this hard because you're too moronic to tell when someone is joking and then projecting your moronation on other people
do morons really?
5.7 glock when
After they make a Glock inbetween the new 47 and the 19. Glock has gotten moronic.
I was going to say the Glock 57
MAC hinted that PSA was going to make AK-type guns in an “exciting caliber”, so I hope they announce a 9x39mm AK or AS Val clone
Why the frick would anyone buy a gun in 9x39? Ballistically it's pretty similar to .350 legend (9.1mm, similar range of subsonic bullet weights) except it's also unobtanium and only makes sense in its integrally suppressed unicorn gun
honestly why would you buy .350 legend, again except for legal protections for the deer?
Closest thing to a BR55 clone.
Whadda fugg kind of carry handle is that, anon? Please, I need it
https://www.tristararms.com/series/compact-tactical/
Note that this has been posted on Reddit and therefore it's very, very gay.
Anon post carry handle you butthole
It seems a decent round if you want something full power, light recoiling, and semi auto for cheap especially if you only have an ar-15
Only reason I picked it here is because they're pretty similar ballistically and I couldn't think of any other cartridge with same diameter and bullet weights for suppressed performance which is the only reason 9mm exists
>9.1mm v 9mm bullets
>55k v 51k psi
>both up to 280gr subsonics
>9.6mm v 11.4mm rim diameter
.350 seems better than 9x39 in every way except bullet design actually
That says a lot more about how absolutely shit 9x39 is than it does about how good 350 legend is.
Even in Ukraine I remember seeing UKR guys who got their hands on vss loot drops from vdv or specops guys in the early days of the invasion being very explicit on how disappointed they were with both the gun and the ammo.
They're both rather pointless in the American market when subsonic 300blk and 7.62x39 exist. If you have to, by all means hunt with 350 legend. Stop trying to grow the purpose beyond that use. 9x39 doesn't really do anything that 300blk can't do. None of the 9x39 loadings are penning lvl4.
>*makes ur thread fricking gay with Ukraine troony shit*
Nothin personnel
Not gonna happen but any news about .22 tcm getting actual support. Apparently instead they're announcing the picrel knockoff alien.
Most of 9x39s merits are in the gun blame the Russians for taking a specialized rifle firing only subs meant for special forces and issuing it generally I wouldn't be surprised if they were status symbols like a haji's krink. Subsonic is always going to perform shit in some probably most battlefield conditions but 9x39 isn't a terrible cartridge in a military use it's probably superior to .350 since it's quieter out of its guns with the integral suppressor and slightly smaller diameter and can penetrate roughly level iii armor with its ap steel core.
Its purpose is very limited in the form of accurate heavy short range suppressed fire. Which is only necessary for killing sentries and police duty.
And its probably as good as you could want for those jobs.
Unfortunately it was put in actual combat where being effectively a PCC means that there isn't a lot of bite to match its (reasonably quiet) bark.
Because 9x39 actually has a shoulder to headspace on and doesn't suffer from terminal large homosexuality.
>9x39 dick riders aren’t terminally homosexual
>a hunting cartridge, you know, people who actually shoot living things are homosexual
People only dick ride it and the VAL/VSS because of video games based off Russian lies about their equipment. It’s nowhere as near as quiet as they say it is.
>because of video games based off Russian lies about their equipment.
I don't get this argument. Anyone who isn't a child or someone with zero gun knowledge knows that gun performance in video games is entirely based around balance and gameplay rather than trying to realistically portray them. The VSS is cool because of it's unique look and it existing more than 20 years before .300 BLK came to the scene, which meant there was a period of time when it was being featured in games where you couldn't even get something similar on the US gun market.
>Anyone who isn't a child or someone with zero gun knowledge knows that gun performance in video games is entirely based around balance and gameplay rather than trying to realistically portray them.
That someone even needs to point this out should indicate the level of noguns moronation present on this board.
Speaking of 350 Legend, if Ruger chambers it in their Mini-14 Fudds will fight to buy it as a 'hunting' rifle with an additional self-defense usefulness.

I want them to stop overcharging for the belt fed 556 upper
OEM 15 round mags for the 43X
Glock will never swallow their pride and use an all steel magazine
Why? Shield Arms has this problem solved AND they are interested in continuing to solve this problem.
> glock doesn't see it as a problem
> glock suffers tremendously from NIH
10 rounds are for states with mag restrictions
the 89 import ban turned domestic producers into lazy rehashing hacks.
imagine buying anything made in the last 30 years
I think about that pic a lot.
shut the frick up boomer
He’s right.
If it wasn’t for the US gun industry being 100% protected by law, it would have already suffered the same fate as electronics, cars, knives, and everything else, i.e. completely dominated by European and Chinkshit alternatives that are either cheaper, better, or both.
>jormungandr

No you can’t have:
>Russian/Finnish AKs
>German wunderwaffe HKs
>uncucked Italian guns
>Norico soulful chinkshit
What you CAN have is:
>shitty $300 striker polymer pistols that no one asked for because Glocks already exist
>shitty Remingtons
>shitty $700 ARs
>artificially inflated $2000 ARs
>shitty American AKs that don’t even work
> S&W 59/459 vs m&p 2.0
> Colt 6720 vs any dept approved m4gery
made today
> late 80s Kimber vs nearly anyone else making 1911s today
Come on now, Ojiisan. I'm bummed about what Cerberus group did to Remington and Marlin as well, but Euro service pistols and the GWOT have unfricked a lot of shit. Even the artist formerly known as STI makes guns that work now.
Not to mention, it seems like all the Euro pistol manufacters have build plants domestically now.
My ar15 is more accurate than my grandpa’s model 70 and Remington .222 and those are the most accurate guns he owns. Only issue I’ve ever had was failure to extract and that was my own moronic 18 year old self’s fault for dicking with the adjustable gas block.
>>HK MP7 for American consumers
This will never happen because Germoids are honorary Black folk, but I'm 90% sure Flux is going to announce their heavy chassis for Glock 20 and Sig P320 Xten. That's probably going to be the closest we get for the US consumer market if Sig also announces stendo clips and a threaded barrel for the Xten this year.
At this point PSA could make an mp7, sell it for $3k+ and people would buy it even if it took 5 years and a mp7 Gen 4 for it to be reliable.
My prediction is that Century Arms will win Shot Show this year by announcing they're bringing back the 5.56 MKE roller locks for approx. $1k each.
>cast iron glock frames
>terracotta 80% lowers
>carbon fiber receiver, screw cap .50 BMG SBR
>long recoil, double barrel 5.7 rifle
>pump action 10mm SBR
>12 gauge hopperfed gatling gun
>12ga hopper fed Gatling gun
Oh fug I might need to build that.
Integrally suppressed revolver firing cased telescoped 5.56
Is it me or does it seem like everything is getting released ahead of show?
>Beretta 92SAO
>Canik steel race gun
>SIG consoomer 320s
>Browning released a whole list of gay hunting garbage today
Etc
seems like trick to increase hype
if you 'release' prior to the show you'll create more interest and stand a better chance of having your booth swarmed, in turn creating more buzz around your product
otherwise you'll just get lumped in the heap of 'todays reveals at shot show'
that flashlight fun thing
>Zastava finally resuming the import of their mini Mauser line since CZ killed the 527
>Armscor offering their M22 bolt action in 9mm, since it's already an aftermarket conversion other companies do (since it only requires a barrel swap) and would probably sell better than the .22 TCM version
>Zastava finally resuming the import of their mini Mauser line since CZ killed the 527
And the standard-length 98 Mauser as well.
Hard mode: Mannlicher stock.
More info about that Magpul round counter collaboration with whatever that other company was.
Probably another gaypul vaporware product just like the FMG and the new ACRs (technically Shrubmaster/Franklin Armory but whatever).
>PSA to finally announce their ammo factory
All I want is a direct blowback 50 bmg pistol. Is that too much to ask for?
>pump action
>22lr
>bullpup
>waffle furniture
Nevermind, pls make that keltec.
Kek-Tec, forge me a weapon for big-game hunting

fair enough, got what I asked for
Best I can do is a 20 gauge shotgun held together with screws

lol, lmao even
Imagine if KAC didn’t just turf their factory seconds over to civilians but actually gave a shit…yeah…
It's okay, we only have to wait another 4 years for them to finish their NT4 contract with the USMC, and then maybe we'll be so lucky to have them bestow some goods upon us lowly civilian peasants.
Non-takedown ruger pcc
Handgun ammo for calibers like 10mm and .357 that delivers short barrel M855A1 like performance, considering energies are getting pretty similar between short barrel M855A1 and high end 10mm or .357 from a service size pistol or revolver.
Ruger starting back up 1894c production at the Marlin plant. Yes, I am boring.
HiPoint finally gives the YC9 release date.
More Vulcan ACSS
FS2000 or updated PS90 from FN
>MP7
4.6×30? Or rechambered in 5.7?
It would be better in terms of actually being able to find ammo, but the Germans have such a stick up their ass they'd never lower themselves to using the literal competitor cartridge of the 4.6 that the Belgians developed.
I almost wrote "and hopefully a 5.7 conversion kit" when I made the thread.
tommybuilt will make you an MP7 if you pay him like 7 grand, no promises you wont have to send it back to get it to work though
I didn't even know he still made guns since the T36s have been perpetually OoS since before the memedemic. I thought H&K's lawyers sent him a C&D or something lol
>Digital NV that isn't ass
>New 3D printed suppressor designs
>True velocity to actually sell bulk ammo
>A pistol suppressor QD design that doesn't suck
>Better prismatic optics
>Better optics in the 2.5-15x range
>Red dots fed by solar panels and capacitors that don't need batteries
>Combined IR laser, illuminator, white light units that are modular and take 18650s
>Cheaper thermals
>A cheaper Alien pistol would be cool
That's about all I'm interested in.
FN releases PS90 pistols, ala Bushmaster AR pistol legal designation.
They have to add a polymer disc where your thumb would go on the forward grip to prevent it acting as a vfg in the eyes of the ATF and the rear plate is flat and smooth as it is "no longer intended for shoulder fire".
Msrp$2k.
>PS90 pistol
its a bullpup, how do you propose they remove the stock? the state of /k/ today
>image doesn't show the bcg, recoil springs, and guide rods.
where do you suppose the bolt travels to pick up the next round from the rear of that mag? interdasting huh?
also, what fire control group? Those holes at the rear of the stock are just for decoration.
>A cool 9mm bullpup from anyone reputable
Semi-auto 9mm Steyr AUG pls
That would be cool if it were an SBR with an integral suppressor. It could be the length of an unsuppressed MP5K while being suppressed.
>cool 9mm bullpup
Anon, just get good with handgun. PCCs are megacope and I feel ashamed for ever buying one.
producing a CQB style rail that doesn't make me remove my foregrip
this would be cool as long as the barrel is still easily removable for storage and transport
cheap and good digi nv would be awesome, I have been saving my pennies to buy 2x pvs14 and it seems like such a ridiculous price to pay for what you get
Hopefully PSA announces they will have 5.45 and 7.62 ready shortly, along with an Ak that has no QC issues
>an Ak that has no QC issues
QC begins at the design phase. Stamped guns will always be shittier than CNC machined guns.
>an Ak that has no QC issues
that's what the GF5 is
Is it though? Genuine question because I’m looking for an Ak and like PSA’s 2a stance
people complained their older AKs were unreliable trash, so they came out with the GF3
people complained the GF3 was unreliable trash, so they came out with the GF4
people complained the GF4 was unreliable trash, so they came out with the GF5
I have yet to hear any major complaints about the GF5, and indeed praise about how its more better than ZPAPs and WASRs
I don't have a GF5 but I have a GF3 and have no issues besides some stupid tack welded gas tube. Beyond that 5ish thousand rounds later and nothing has happened.
Who else is going to be at Shot Show this year? I’m exhibiting for the first time for my company. There was a thread a few weeks ago and it looked like a bunch of Anons were going.
New M-1 Carbines that don't suck.
Hard mode: 9x19 option like the old Iver Johnsons.
Extreme hard mode: 5.7 MMJ option
>inb4 Fulton Armory
These are superb, but like 2x the cost of a basic b***h AR
>inb4 Chiappa
This is a blowback-only 9mm copy, and apparently not a very good one.
The Iver Johnson 9mm ones were gas operated? I didn't even know they made them in 9mm. I'd definitely be all over a new production M1 carbine in 9mm that was gas operated if it wasn't extremely expensive. Or better yet, a scaled down Garand for 9mm, complete with utilizing en bloc clips and the original style sight.
>The Iver Johnson 9mm ones were gas operated?
Yes, the 9mm variant was gas-operated. (just checked to make sure I wasn't talking out my ass)

Think CZ will be releasing a successor to the 457?
Been looking to get one for awhile, but maybe should wait?
2011
I want an arms race to make double stack 1911s cheaper.
This year is the 150th anniversary of the 1873 Winchester rifle; wondering if Winchester will do anything interesting beyond a cheesy commemorative.
>This year is the 150th anniversary of the 1873 Winchester rifle; wondering if Winchester will do anything interesting beyond a cheesy commemorative.
I can see them announcing a polymer framed striker fired pistol that they contracted out to some turkish company. Available in 9mm and 40s&w, in either full size or compact, msrp $649.
> Warhammer fantasy, but in the Wild West
Things I never knew I wanted.
i'm actually qualified to go to this thing but i still haven't even after all these years
The sheer amount of homosexualy youtubers there is what puts me off of going.
My best friends wife works for several major firearms manufacturers and they offer her two slots to go every year which she offers to me with their OK and I just feel like I'd be disgusted with the people.
Unironically it's the same crowd you see at video game and anime conventions, with the added gun show regulars. If you can get past the stupidity and smell it's fun when you focus on looking at the interesting stalls.
Shot show is frickin gay. Make sure if you meet anyone and go back to your hotel room you pay TSSF or whatever their gay organization grift is their pound of flesh or else they’ll sue you.
