Serbian president against Wagner

Vučić bluntly says that the protests of the ultra-right are directed against Serbia and are financed from abroad (from Russia). I spoke in detail about how Russia finances the Serbian far-right in my video about Gazprom in 2021 - Be Or.

Vučić is pissed off by talk of "Wagner PMCs" and their attempts to recruit Serbs: "I don't need Wagner's support. I don't need them to applaud me or criticize me. Serbs who are recruited for the war in Ukraine will be arrested as only they will return to Serbia and fall within the reach of our institutions. In a friendly country, you will not recruit in this way."

Vučić talks about Serbian empathy for Ukrainians, because Serbs also survived the war and bombings in 1999: "You will not hear a single bad word in Serbia about Ukrainians."

Vučić once again declares support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine: "From the very first moment, we condemned what happened on February 24. And today I can confirm to you that yes - Crimea, Donbass, Kherson are all the territory of Ukraine.

No one forgot. It just seldom gets discussed on the english side of the internet because diaspora who lived their entire lives in Australia have the loudest voices and a lot of what they think is so disconnected from reality that it's basically impossible to argue with them in good faith.

More or less you just say "MY COUNTRY IS THE BEST" and have a few talking points prepared if anyone asks what you mean. Unless you meet someone who has an autistic interest in that specific country they will lack the knowledge or desire to argue much about it. To those types of diaspora it is more like arguing about a TV show than actual human events since they have absolutely no real connection to their home countries.

It's especially bad for diaspora from countries with low rates of secondary languages and Cyrillic or similar alphabets because they will never even see the people living in those countries online

Mine left in 2006 because of economic issues, my dad working as both a cop and electrican with my mum working as a nurse didn't bring enough money. But my dad was born in Australia so citizenship wasn't an issue.

Why are diasporas so nationalistic about countries their parents left for seemingly evil west?

I'm not. But that's probably got more to do with the fact that my parents brought me and my little sisters up with stories about how fucking shitty Serbia under Milosevic and they were emptying out prisons and recruiting street thugs for the army. One of my great-uncles who was from Bosnia was even killed in broad daylight by the VRS for trying to stop the rape and murder of a Bosnian girl.

Why are diasporas so nationalistic about countries their parents left for seemingly evil west?

they have no identity of their own, so they latch onto anything they can, they can't call themselves pure australians/swiss/german because they have an "-IĆ" at the end of their last name.

They always claim how back home its pure and full of soul, but they never want to stop living in the "souless" west.

          >muh diaspora is actually the vatniks
Yeah, no. I've been to Serbia plenty of times. Every street is littered with Z graffiti/posters, everyone owns t-shirt glorifying Russia, Putin and wagner. A casual conversation with 90% of Serbs will result in them starting to cry about how NATO - for no reason whatsoever - bombed billions of poor innocent Serb children back in '99. If the conversation keeps going they'll also mention how Jesus was a Serb and how the sole reason for the existence of the EU, the Vatican, the US and NATO is to oppress Serbs.

The point is that Serbia gets billions in gibs each year from US, EU and even Turkish taxpayers. For decades they got those gibs despite their shenanigans trying to destabilize the region and sucking Russian and Chinese cock 24/7. Now the EU has given them an ultimatum: stop supporting Russia (so much) or we'll turn off the money tap - and the Serb leadership seems willing to comply: If they don't the massive national deficit could mean they lose power. The average Serb is still fiercely pro-Russia and anti-West. In fact the current administration ruled for decades despite being supremely corrupt and incompetent - that didn't bother most Serbs, now that they're forced to be ever so slightly less retarded - the average Serb is crying bloody murder and treason.

Yes. Serbs are absolute trash. Literally a case of looking up at vatniks since they can do what serbs dream of: try to kill everybody around them in a fit of jealousy, spite and pure contempt.

If the best outcome comes out from this yet another muscovite "empire" building attempt and Russhitia ends up imploding I fucking guarantee you the newly (re)formed muscovite duchy and serbs will be crying in the same corner how stronk and mighty they were. How these fucking nafo trannies dont give them and their mighty fists respect enough etc.

Losing Serbia is unironically really bad for Putin, possibly even an unacceptable outcome. They are not a key strategic military partner but many powerful people in Russia have a lot of assets parked over there.

Lots of cronies and oligarchs use Serbia the way the west uses tax havens or vacation spots. They have a lot of money and material there under questionably legal circumstances, it's an open secret with the government that everyone knows about. If all of a sudden Russians do not have a writ of protection there is going to be a fucking field day of asset seizures and pogrom level reprisals by ordinary people. If all of a sudden oil princes and ex-KGB "export" moguls find out their literal pallets of money are gone and there's a PASARS parked outside of their dacha waiting to shootdown the helicopter full of thugs they sent to reclaim it, Putin is going to be facing enormous pressure with no good solution.

      >What the fuck is going to do, try and invade the Balkans?
He can't. Serbia is entirely contained by NATO. The only land access is through Bosnia, which can only be accessed by the port of Neum, which can only be reached via the Adriatic Sea, which is entirely EU territory; Italy and Croatia control it. Both NATO members.

Russia is literally incapable of touching Serbia without NATO's permission.

Serbia is just putting on a show because the president doesn't want Wagner Serbs to jeopardize EU gibs nor future EU ascension.

He also wants his Chetniks to stay at home in case they want to start shit over Kosovo, like they almost were a couple weeks ago when shots rang out and before that when they sent Serbian armored vehicles to the Kosovo border due to rising tensions the past few years since Kosovo Serbs don't want to use Kosovo license plates.
