To clarify A1 may be a bit heavy but I think it will be excellent for static post positions for hunting. Otherwise if I was to opt for more mobility and at the same time bigger game hunting I would go for Benelli Lupo or t3x hunter

    Tikka.T3x Arctic .308 with a Leupold 2,5-8x36 scope
    Benelli Supernova
    CZ 455 Camp .22WMR

Few hundred .308 rounds, a hundred each of 6, 2 and 0 size 12/76 shots and a thousand rounds for the .22.

That's propably under 10k and so the rest goes to weed

How are you even going to hit $10k on 3 guns without going full gear queer on everything?

    >Winchester 94 in .30-30
    >a quality SxS double barrel shotgun
    >a Colt Woodsman Match Target model
    >an airgun for small game and daily plinking at a rate where even the savings over .22lr would be considerable

good call on the airgun. Since it's not a firearm, add it to

AR-15 in 6.8spc with scope and suppressor (hunting/protection)
Mossberg 500 full length with red dot (bird and small game hunting)
      Springfield XD-M 10mm (protection)
Bonus if allowed: 10mm conversion kit for the AR-15

AR-15 is what I'm familiar with, 6.8spc is the ammo I'd go with for hunting durr from an AR without compromising longer range self defense just in case, suppressor just to cut the noise a bit.
A good hunting shotgun is very versatile.
10mm is a sweet spot for sidearm stopping powah. Wouldn't want to carry a big revolver if I didn't have to. And it's great in PCCs.
ballpark $4k for the AR with scope and conversion plus a few accessories. Mossberg Field 12ga with two barrels and selection of chokes plus a cheap red dot - $1k. XD-M with light, ~$1k. Spend the rest on ammo.

so I don't have to pick birdshot out of squirrels.
      Already own an air compressor.

        >Already own an air compressor.
PCP airguns can't be filled with a normal air compressor. You need one rated to go up to 3000+ PSI.

          damn, didn't think about that.
then frick it, go full preteen on it with a .177 pellet gun you pump multiple times and load manually. Still plenty for squirrel.

tavor 7 20" barrel cause I want one
some combination .22/12ga break action for stuff .308 isn't good for
S&W 629 probably too big but I really like .44 magnum plus it can load shotshells for a backup squirrel slayer
    cost:
    ~$600 for the combination gun
~$2.5k for the tavor, optic, bipod
    I actually have a 629 but let's say ~800
    ~6k left for ammo
