    >same rpm as a minigun
simply wrong, and it will still melt even faster because 6 barrels > 2 barrels

    more importantly:
    >get a round with a bad primer
    >"stop pulling my trigger please, I need to be manually cycled :(:(:( "

      >keeps working anyway, 3 second fix when you pause.
versus a dead solenoid, a tight or bent link, or a poorly crimped bullet falling out in the delinker, requiring 10 minutes of diassembly, a mission kill in a helicopter

Okay. How you gonna do barrel changes on that thing at 8000 ft when its hanging off the side of a heli?

use stellite liner near the chamber https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_j9VVv1OSRs
and/or toss the barrel after the mission. you can afford nearly 100 spares

The MRBS for the minigun is what matters, because you can't get out of the helicopter to fix it. Dillon claims 30K.
Meanwhile the MRBF of the dual gun is what matters, times two, because the other will keep working. For a mere stoppage, again while the other gun keeps working, you can clear it from the gunners position, opening the tray, and cycling.

The M240 MRBF is in excess of 25,000 rounds.
          https://ndiastorage.blob.core.usgovcloudapi.net/ndia/2016/armament/18355_Armstrong.pdf (pg12)

In the 1974 test the MG3 had nearly the same MRBF score, and the poorer MRBS score was before the upgraded '0' marked feed pawl, ribbed top bolt (to keep links for being trapped) and DM1 links.

I thought you said it was better than the minigun, why are we having to invent cobalt barrels or completely burn them out in order to compete with it?

the video was clearly decades old. would you prefer a set of barrels that continue to wear out until the armorer can perform a teardown, or a brand new user serviceable barrel as often as missions require

So the MRBF of the minigun is 5k higher, got it, thanks for clearing it up anon

You have to realize that this germany atrocity of a gun is no match for the elegant perfection of this unique 12 gauge gatling gun. That mg barely has any engineering put into it.

Didnt they get in trouble for that? Basically didnt inform the ATF and unwittingly made a machine gun

No they lost a 12 gauge/MAC-10 hybrid in the mail (was borrowed) and they got ratted on for it. But William resolved the situation personally by fucking his daughter like he did the past 22 years.

    mg14z
    3k RPM Max
    wearing out 2 barrels.

    M134 Minigun
    6kRPM max
    wearing out 3 barrels.

So at full barrel melting tilt, your gun does 3k RPM, while at half speed, the M134 does 3k, with the option to ramp up to 6k.

If we are worrying about ammo, you are a poorfag country that should stick to a single 50 cal. If you are worrying about weight, you should feed your troops better and give them a single 50 cal. If you want to shoot 7.62×51; use an M240b or Mk48 at a much lower RPM and better cost.

      >Single .50 cal
He's fanboying a gun from a richfag but poorfag military country that cut down on defense spending again this year. They couldn't afford a single .50 cal on their MBTs from the ammo costs alone. Do I need to say anything about broomsticks for training?
