>xaxaxa, S-400 quickly mobile and much more survivable than decadent west AD >proceeds to do this shit
I'm guessing it's the same reason HIMARS roll together- it's just a lot easier to manage if everyone's close and they haven't been punished hard enough to break free of the habit. Imagine this shit vs the US and they drop like 20 ATACMS on the thing.
Looks like they smooshed two batteries together there. The Cheese Boards are search/engagement radar and command vehicle combos. They're probably using the distant one as the search radar, wary of potential HARM launches, while the one the launchers are clustered around is likely used as the engagement radar
I used to nag the grim reapers that their AA setups were too simplistic and that only braindead retards would set up their entire SAM battery in a tight little cluster.
I was right and wrong.
>isn't even competent at DCS
Pretty sure that's a selling point. It leads to a lot of shenanigans. Don't know anything about the dude other than some of the content on the GR youtube channel.
Anyways no need to get mad over a clear joke anon.
The issue is a lot of people new to the sim get shilled GR vids for everything when trying to learn and it's and awful resource. This happened to me too when I was new and didnt know any better.
If you don't like their tutorials it's not like they're the only ones making them. It's also not their fault the algorithm liked or likes them and you were incapable of finding better videos when you were getting into it.
When I searched a few times just to look the top result was usually Growling Sidewinder with GR usually farther down or in the "viewers also watched" section.

Uhh, actually, it *IS* entirely their fault for building an utterly shit algorithm that shits out horrible results. They don't know what the fuck they're doing, but representing fraudulent bullshit as somehow relevant. They created a broken product and then shilled it for clickbait.
Those must be inflatable decoys. Even the churka'est churkazanov from churkamestan oblast that made beyond the rank of lieutenant knows that you dont herd up your assets like that, whatever they may be
Surely the system would work properly with the launchers spread out at least a bit. Right?
it is a smart tactic
one launcher gets exploded
all other conceal in its smoke
>What the actual fuck is this setup?
ATACMS bait.

>20 ATACMS
Buddy, they look close enough for a single JDAM to do the needful
Russoids knowing that Ukraine is not allowed to use ATACMS on Russian territory
Rostov is occupied Ukrainian territory.
unironically true
Those are inflatable S400 decoys
No way Russia can place so many of them that close without shooting down a couple of russian airliners weekly.
chinese 5g, works a treat for spotting NATO stealth missiles
Now those claims from earlier that a single ATACMs strike wiped out an entire S-300 battery seem far more plausible.
I thought they got 3 S400s
3 s300 radars and 30 launchers maybe lmao who knows.
Reminds me of me tinkering with LockOn mission editor. Just quickly placing SAM batteries like that to run down some things.
Showing me this without an ATACMS landing in the middle of it is an actual warcrime.
This is in Rostov so 60 miles beyond the no-go line for ATACMS targets
>no-go line for ATACMS targets
for how long?
Maybe they're worried about saboteurs?

Apologize to Cap right now lol.
cap is a creep who isn't even competent at DCS

It is the very definition of "their fault."
How is the algorithm and how it works GR's fault?
I'm sorry cap, I won't nag about the SAM emplacement being arranged like a toddler was in charge anymore.
I'll go find a video to apologize on.
They do move in herds!

They are worshiping the radar tower.
monolith?
They think this will absolutely prevent Rostov-on-Don Airport from becoming Rostov-on-Don Submarine
