Russian MultiCam

Where the frick do the Russians get their multicam uniforms? Whenever I see them, they look like cheap copies compared to the actual thing(the 2 soldiers are international legions, so they got genuine Crye stuff)

That's interesting and all, but Aliexpress still accepts rubbles printed on toilet paper and ships to katsapstan.

    >where
Mostly china. The higher-quality ones are from a supplier called Triada. Here's their BTS video meant to convince russians that they do, in fact, make their shit in russia: https://files.catbox.moe/b4uspv.mp4

And here's a war crimes enthusiast wearing their shit. More info https://desuarchive.org/k/thread/60497670

    >compared to the actual thing
ILDU wear what you'd expect but it really still varies a lot around the forces. A lot of units are still kitted out with (high quality) knockoffs, for logistical reasons more than anything else.

I've also heard, from a generally sober and reliable kind of guy, that russians have a specialty line for forging foreign gear. I'm not sure when exactly they need that, versus just smuggling or outright stealing gear that might be required for a false flag at a later date, but it's interesting that they might struggle with access to the degree that they need to set up shop and DIY it.

One of the hallmarks of faked russian psyop footage of "ukrainian" military activity, funnily enough, is the preponderance of ukrainian camo in the vids. They frequently just give everyone MM14, even when the scenario supposedly involves a force that doesn't use it.

Either for false flags or because they like it better than their own gear. Russians always copy western gear

Trynna think of the name right now, but there was a Russian gear company that sold genuinely decent Crye, Ronin, Tasmania knockoffs. My cousin has some of it, never did any IR testing, but it was undeniably solid

I forgot what its called too. They are basically crye at home for russians.

All of the Russian companies that've been making it since the 10s. Likely supplemented by Chinese production due to corruption stealing money that would otherwise be used to increase domestic product.

Quality wise it's no different than Crye tbh.

    >It's all Chinese because the fabric is anyway
Literally isn't even on the lower quality gear. Only mobiks buying their own get that.

      >quality wise its no different than cryes
I wouldn't say that, given at least cryes have better quality cuts/fabrics. Chink shit usually water downs that sort of thing to be able to make it in quantities.

They make them? Russia is a massive country, and textile manufacture is one of the things they still have that doesn't require specialist equipment or engineering knowledge of which they've been brain drained. His pants are VOIN, the kneepads are distinctive.

That's British style MTP. Most likely Chinese knock offs.

      >likely Chinese knock offs.
The official bong uniform is MIC. Many countries source uniforms from China.

Russia ironically is one of the few with the capability to make NIR fabrics competently despite people from countries that can't throwing shade.

        >NIR
most anons that actually have the uniform said NIR is basically non existent . Its been tested nd shown that it lacks it

          >actually have the uniform
Which one? Voin? It's NIR. Everything I've bought that's advertised as NIR has been. EMR is a shit camo in general day or night but that's not what this thread is about.

Chinese knockoffs may not be but honestly most don't glow like nonods think they will. Usually you just get a pattern loss.

At least the top is. The bottom is multicam
