        We had a thread about this even before the invasion because Russian troops on "training maneuvers" in Belarus had basically become bandits camping in the woods and stealing food and winter clothes, mainly coats and socks from the locals. They had no socks or winter gear of their own.

      With how shitty Russian logistics are they would probably be better off getting footwraps. Footwraps are more durable and can be used multiple times by rotating the cloth. With socks you need to somehow have the ability to receive new socks.
