Russian drone shot down near Dnipro city:

Wtf is this school project bullshit? This was even shot down with small arms fire so it was flying pretty low, why not use a commercial drone? Is Russia really that low on money and resources?

Lol we talked about a design like that made of woods like a week ago.
Russian MoD is looking for ideas here lmao

Nah if there's one thing the Russian MoD is experienced with it's wood. Shoigu was just waiting for Russia to run out of plastic before making his move.

ngl if Shoigu hadn't become a part of the Puccian government he might have made a very good living as a woodcarver. Some of his sculptures are pretty good.

          >What will become of the warriors when there are no more wars?”

          >“They’ll settle down and grow fine wood” said Shoigu

I am still amazed this man is still alive.
        How did he do it?
How did he weasel his way out of getting windowed?

Every time someone invites him to something where he would get window'd, he starts wood carving and then forgets the meeting. Like Luka is always peeling potatoes when Putin wants something from him.

Some sick fuck tried to fly a foetal Cessna Skymaster. Poor thing didn't even have fuselage skin.

This makes no sense. It's not even a kamikaze drone, just a recon drone. Orlan 10 was already bottom of the barrel cheap to make, and they need to make an even cheaper one?

bro they're all talk, they don't have shit
even their cheapest shit is probably a one-off and they overspent on it

And how is it bad exactly? It's a demonstration of Russian resourcefulness if anything
    >Hahahaha Russia is so pathetic because it's using military resources in clever ways loooooool

the only way assembling, testing, and flying one off hobby aircraft as a substitute for drones is in any way an efficient use of manhours is if you are a poor nation that has no business being outside your own borders. sure, this is very "resourceful" for nigerians.

There is a difference between a well-made, cheap, lightweight solution and the project in the OP which seems to combine both carboard wings (fine) and heavy metal marts (not fine)

Beautiful, how hard would it be to arm it with riffles and use it to shot down other drones? Or as a bomber?

Did they try to copy western carboard drones, or is this some more obscure western model and OP is trolling?

Basically when Russia launches missile and drone attacks they also launch this abominations as false targets on radars, potentially even wasting some AA to shot it down

almost all commercial drones have a lower heat signature. The purpose of this UAV is to draw anti-air ressources. It can't work in the long run though because the West has infinite production capability relative to Russia

And to think we haven’t even reached last ditch drone territory yet
