Andrew's not trustworthy like Oryx and Warspotting. Vigorousfalcon and Bloza333 have called out Andrewperpetua many times for making up losses.

these buggies are cheaper than the shells that destroy them, the yuros are being bled dry and they will soon bend over

      >these buggies are cheaper than the shells that destroy them
      They retail for about $19,000.
So, I guess if you used a javelin against one, sure.
Bushmaster would do the job though.

So they were sold for $80k to Russia?

After seeing what Iran charged Russia for the flying mopeds, I honestly wouldn't be shocked if China was bending them over in their hour of need too.

            >I honestly wouldn't be shocked if China was bending them over

of course they are; this war is a massive win for china, is a chance to bleed the russian state while it's going on, offers the opportunity to sweep in and get cool stuff when it's over.

Golf carts have four wheels and an engine. They can be used for war. What's the problem? If something cheap like a golf cart can carry out the function of any other light transport vehicle why not use it? It's just being cost effective and resource conscious; that's something smart people do, but I guess nu-/k/ wouldn't get that.

Why pay for four wheels when you only need two?
      Dirt bike assault when?

Dirt bikes suck for combat because they require both hands on the bars and have shit payloads.

      >If something cheap like a golf cart can carry out the function of any other light transport vehicle
But it’s a flimsy death trap, Anon. The only function it’s useful for is one-way transport of mobiks to the front, where it and they both become a total write-off after literally one hit. I mean, compare it to the survivability of something like a BTR, or a T-72…

      …oh.

It's baffling how bad at war Russia is.
    >"Um but they took a medium-sized village (even though fighting in still ongoing in the outskirts even now) a few months ago so they're winning."
This kind of kill-to-loss ratio would get you demoted to JROTC as an officer in the U.S.

Tell me one reason why Russia can't just spam drones at vehicles too
      Are they dumbtarded?

          Anonymous

Yeah but they don't need to use shitty lancets
I suppose most of the drone kills are "abandoned, then droned"
So why can't Russia make Ukies abandon their vehicles? Are they dumbtarded?

            Anonymous

            yes, they're dumbtarded.

but also Russia is the one pushing here. ukraine doesn't need to move their vehicles past the frontline (much). thus more of their vehicles are going to be further back for more of the time. further back from the frontline means jamming equipment can be more easily used (because more defensible because further back) and FPVs have a pretty short range anyway, making using them more dangerous.

        Anonymous

        Because they are Russian.

        >Russian hobby groups start to build FPV drones and other equipment similar to Ukrainian.
        > Russian Businesses see a chance to make money
        >Russian businesses buy up all the supplies and pay Army to stop these groups
        > All the Russian groups that made half decent drones are now either in the trenches, dead or getting the frick out of dodge
        > Business man sells the drones to the soldiers AND army for 5 times the price
        > Less drones are made and nominally at a worse quality.
        > One "Company" making them just turns them on, puts them into a box and gives them to the soldiers to build in the fricking trenches, spoiler alert, it doesnt go well
        > One "Company" builds FPV drones and uses factory settings, which Ukies learn and just jam that spectrum making a loss rate of 90% for 0 kills
        > One "Company" pays a hobby group to join them, teaches their third world biddies how to make it over two weeks and then sells that bunch of guys to Russian Army as mobiks and then produces FPV drones that can't hold a fricking explosive.
        > Some Bloggers estimate over 50% of drones supplied are under armed, under powered and prone to breaking the custom parts
        > MONKE LOOK WHAT THE BOYARS ARE DOING HELP US
        > Most of them are now dead.
        > TZD

Russian is Russia. They are dumb as frick and willinging to gang rape themselves if they can make $5 USD for the month.
