So while Russia celebrates gaining 200m in Donbass, Armenia essentially dipped out of CSTO for good. Is Belarus the only country they will be able to host exercises now? Do they even have any allies left in the region?

armenia dropped out months ago dude, were you living under a rock?
>armenia dropped out months ago dude, were you living under a rock?
Not true. Pashinyan and Putin held a meeting on 31st October 2022 in Sochi:
https://primeminister.am/en/press-release/item/2022/10/31/Nikol-Pashinyan-Vladimir-Putin/
Then there was a CSTO summit in mid November 2022 in Armenia:

Armenia is just doing this to save face. Their lobbyists/activists in the West probably told them to.
Every move Armenia makes is moronic anyways. Their diaspora wants to alienate them from Russia and Iran too; Armenia becomes a landlocked island if that happens.
They are truly the most moronic people out there.
They picked horrible allies, then they pissed them off, then they anger genocidal turks, and again get BTFO.
Armenoids are the Serbs of the Caucasus.
Oh shut up you dirty Turk. Nobody thinks you're any better.
>Their diaspora wants to alienate them from Russia and Iran too; Armenia becomes a landlocked island if that happens.
lol wut are (You) that ignorant or are you another Ivan who assumes that nobody will fact check? Armenia doesn't even share any border with Russia, what's between Armenia and te ea is Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, and Turkey.
>lol wut are (You) that ignorant or are you another Ivan who assumes that nobody will fact check? Armenia doesn't even share any border with Russia, what's between Armenia and te ea is Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, and Turkey.
Armenia does share a border with Iran, and it's Iran that shares an in-land maritime border with Russia, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
Those are the routes that Russian weapons come from to get to Iran then into Armenia. The Chinese and Indian weapons go through Iran too.
...but my point is that Armenia does not or does not have to depend on Iran and Russia for sea access, there is the NATO country of Turkey...and also Georgia?

Everytime there is another unnecessary law I end up learning more about geography.
>...but my point is that Armenia does not or does not have to depend on Iran and Russia for sea access, there is the NATO country of Turkey...and also Georgia?
Turkey and Georgia are not allies of Armenia, and Armenia is not an ally of NATO.
Armenia killed their prospects in the 1990s when they chimped out, but they had a chance to join the free world in the 2000s onward but Armenians and their diaspora chose isolationism and browbeating instead and refused to negotiate with their neighbors they have disputes with.
Armenia is the only country in the region with less people today then they did in the 1990s. A large chunk of their population flees overseas, then they support the same isolationism that made them flee in the first place, and it's a never-ending cycle that's ultimately going to end with Armenia having a demographic and a political collapse.
>what's between Armenia and the sea is Azerbaijan,
Azerbaijan is landlocked as well. The Caspian Sea is a lake. In the east you'd have to cross at least Qazaqstan and China to reach the ocean.
Oh man, I would feel so claustrophobic in a landlocked country, like a subdivided apartment with no direct outside window or door.
Would be cool if Muscovy are beaten back to Moscow and quarantined there. Saint Petersburg might actually be an okay country without Moscow.
>Azerbaijan is landlocked as well. The Caspian Sea is a lake. In the east you'd have to cross at least Qazaqstan and China to reach the ocean.
No, Azerbaijan is connected to Georgia, which is connected to Turkey, both of whom are litoral states. AZ doesn't rely on impossibly-long eastward routes to the sea like you mention.
Azerbaijan is connected to Türkiye in Nakhchivan.
That's not connected to mainland Azerbaijan. That's an exclave.
Only the Georgia and Iran routes connect heartland AZ to Turkey.
They were granted a corridor through Armenia after the 2020 war.
But Armenia never implemented it. The 2020 agreement was that there would be negotiations for a corridor but Armenia refused to proceed with it the following two years.
Armenia on the Duck Duck Go map
Russia denied help to Armenia months ago, CTO doesn’t exists anymore
Armenia is pissed because russia didn't do anything when ajzerbajan stirred up shit, which in turn was because russia was pissed armenia is trying westernize or something, so at this point it's not really surprising anyone
>Armenia is pissed because russia didn't do anything when ajzerbajan stirred up shit
It's worse than that. Apparently the Russians told Armenia they wouldn't uphold their end of the ceasefire unless they agreed to join the "Union State" and become a Russian vassal, and then MAYBE they would uphold it, provided Armenians made a contribution to the War in Ukraine in return.
> Armenia is pissed because russia didn't do anything when ajzerbajan stirred up shit
And yet it's Armenia that killed an Azerbaijani general in July 2020 in the NORTH nowhere near Karabakh and surrounding occupied areas. Thereby dramatically escalating tensions.
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-53402476
https://eurasiantimes.com/azerbaijani-general-killed-in-border-clashes-with-armenia/
Even Human Rights Watch says Armenia carried out indiscriminate attacks on Azerbaijani civilian populations during the September/November 2020 war.
https://www.hrw.org/news/2020/12/11/armenia-unlawful-rocket-missile-strikes-azerbaijan
And used cluster munitions on civilians.
https://www.hrw.org/news/2020/12/15/armenia-cluster-munitions-used-multiple-attacks-azerbaijan
https://www.hrw.org/news/2020/10/30/armenia-cluster-munitions-kill-civilians-azerbaijan
Frick off turks, you are just like those dirty armenians
What is Armenia known for other than Kardasians and Reddit's oil driller? At least Turkey exports nice figs and chocolate snacks, and Bayraktar TB2...dude they should totally make a chocolate shaped like the Bayraktar TB2, or has it on the wrapping.
>armenia dropping out of the only thing that prevented their total annihilation from the turkic sultandom
They're dumb. And america would've cared less about some irrelevant former soviet banana republic.
About time.
meanwhile in america
my dude, I'm a second world gay like you most probably are as well. Let's not pretend for a single second that the US wouldn't be able to wipe their asses with our respective countries, gay flags included. Be real
Just like in russian bootcamp, just consensual.
Cool. 😀 I'm glad there are allies and non cishet ppl in the army now
obsessed
They/Them army making Russia into Was/Were
cope
brother russia is our only ally after our mountains and jesus christ lord himself
Question, how does it feel that Kim Kardashian contributed more to the war effort than the entire armed forces of Armenia?
You know what, I totally would and I'm tired of pretending I wouldn't.
>loses
Armenia shares no touching/international land/sea/air borders with russia. There was never a chance.
Surprised it didn't happen earlier after Russia failed to honor its treaty obligations when Azerbaijan attacked
So that's why dennis is sperging out extra hard today
CSTO is going to collapse in a couple years, and Russia will invade Khazakstan in order to regain some internal military prestige.
That will spook China and the rest of Central Asia, so that's not happening anytime soon.
If they were successful in Ukraine, then Kazakhstan would have been the next target. Since Russia's openly talked about annexing both for a few years now.
I don't think Russia still has enough military power to invade Kazakhstan. They had to literally pull troops from other fronts and far east so that they could fight in Ukraine.
Literally doesn't have the man to spare to invade another hostile country
geopolitically russia is fricked in the long run no matter what they do in ukraine today and tomorrow. csto exists only on paper, ruskies lost their european market and are selling fossils to china/india at the discount. nobody will remove sanctions in the near future, even slow as frick euros realised russia went full moron and there is no reason to make deals with it. and i'm not even talking about all those young russians who fled the country in 2022 and continue fleeing it rn.
>lose entire armed forces in 44 days
>lose dug-in positions and easy-to-defend cities
>blame Russia for the failure instead
lmao noids will never change
It's funny because they didn't bother defending the cliffs because it's impossible to take the city that way. Except that's literally how Armenia got it lmao!
