Might be the reason why Russians are now mostly using stand off weaponry. Assuming those have even been delivered yet. >national
N in NASAMS used to stand for Norwegian.
>NATO's best air defenses.
AMRAAMs are from the early 90s bro. The ESSM tech in AMRAAM-ER was fully developed like 3-5 years later.
Serial production of AMRAAM-ER started couple years ago. First test firings were in 2008, testing program was mostly finished by 2016. I doubt they are delivering AMRAAM-ER to Ukraine. There is plenty of older AMRAAM stock to be used on vatBlack folk from 90's and early 2000's. Current production AMRAAM is quite a different beast from 90's early variants.
It took a little bit longer to get AMRAAM seekers working with an ESSM-derived control scheme and motor, but that's basically all it is. But it's the tailgate grill of NATO SAMs. Homedude forgot we build these.
air supremacy is when the enemy cant intefere with your operations enough to matter
air superiority is when the enemy air force still exists and can still hinder your own air forces, but cannot sieze the initative
what they are planning to do will mostly revolve around reaction or taking advantage of lulls in your activity
air parity is when both sides can still interfere with each others operations and neither side can control the airspace for long
ukraine seems to be in a state of air parity
both sides can still launch missions but neither side has free reign
which is still rather embarassing to the russians as they can only achive partial control over an airforce several times smaller than theirs
Unfortunately for Russia, the HATO cloning facility is still fully operational. Soon another wave of Biolab designed superhumans will descend on the poor innocent vatnik defenders.
>launches from over 200km away
>flys 50 feet above the ground
>bombs a random field
>refuses to elaborate
>leaves
>the best NATO air defenses can't handle Soviet era planes

>NATO's best air defenses.

Aren't even in the country yet, and won't be for another month and a half.

Just admit russia can't into mankind
impotent attempt, it was already over when they retreated from Kiev, the only reason Putin wont stop is because his life is on the line here
>launching attacks
Is this air superiority?

>way to the battlefield
Does that imply they didn’t make it back?
That's not what air superiority means.
>in order to slow #Ukrainian counteroffensive
not stop
not turn back
just to slow it
Finally looks like someone at RuAF pulled his phone and checked his telegram messages
More like they finally manage to round up enough pilots and ground crew to resume operations.
Wait, I thought the Kherson offensive stalled out with massive casualties 2 days ago?

>not launching from chaplynka
i wonder how bad it got himars'ed?
