this vehicle is what happens when you minmax your design for fun

Less minmaxing and more extreme specialisation. The Fallschirmjäger wanted a miniscule little weapons carrier that could essentially mechanise heliborne infantry to give it a bit more punch and mobility when trying to slow down soviet breakthroughs in a Cold War gone Hot scenario..

why is that chopper so filthy?

          Anonymous

          That's normal.
If a chopper isn't caked in soot and bleeding hydraulic fluid, that means the crew is trying to hide all of the mechanical problems, and the chopper is out of hydraulic fluid.

And very likely broken, or damn near it.
All helicopters exist in various states of "broken".
None exist that "are working perfectly".
Such things do not exist in the world of rotorcraft.

They should make civilian model for camping

At that point why not just strip the back seat out of a civic and put a spike launcher there? Does the same thing.

Because if a Civic was supposed to have a spike launcher Honda would have made it a factory option. It's like you've never dealt with Germans.

This. German automotive autism is unreal. Germans will literally sell their BMW to get the next trim up when the only difference between the two is the tune.

A Honda Civic doesn't have basic anti-frag protection, doesn't have nearly the same off-road mobility and is actually bigger and less easily transportable.

I really wish the krauts had the balls to sell an unarmed version on the civ market. Imagine having one of these things for hunting and camping trips.

Just buy one of these if you need a tracked vehicle for hunting, they have much better off road qualities, are amphibious and far lighter

Yeah, but it's not a Weisel. That's the point. I want kawaii kraut tankette, not big box thing A or B.

It looks cute but that's it. The fricking nightmare it is to keep an actual armed vehicle running with your own spare time and money is insane. Even these

And? If you've got the money to buy one in the first place you've got the money for mechanics. It's not unknown technology (blyat). At worst it's be in the same bracket as owning a supercar.
