Because they suck, okay warriorgay? They're total shit, just like everything the big mean ugly brits have ever made. There, are you happy now? That is what you want to hear when you make these threads, isn't it? Fucking loser.

I don't think it's Warriortard. The filename is wrong and he didn't say anything negative.

I'm beginning to think that Bradleytard has been falseflagging as Warriortard because they are having a lovers spat and need us all to leave the thread so they can just hate-fuck each other and get it over with.

They are varients in Ukraine, just not the gunned varients.
They're still the UK's expeditionary armour even "retired", as they're lightweight and transportable so I don't see them being given, and the other lightweight French armour didn't go so well in Ukraine.
Personally I don't see them as anything more than a VERY fast BMP and given the conflict I'm not sure they'd survive well against mine heavy conflict as their reccy role has been taken over by drones, and yet another ammo varient might make logistics even harder.

Because they've been in service since 1971, and the hulls are basically shagged at this point. They went through a drive-train rebuild in 2010 to keep them operational, but even with that they're very much at the end of their service life and not fitted for a protracted deployment Besides, Ukraine has enough aluminum hulled shit with autocannons already.

The ones is service are mostly new builds. They have been building CVRT as recently as the early 2010's

That is only Scimitar MK2 which is obvious by the taller hull for mine protection, any Scimitar with the smaller hull is decades older

          >any Scimitar with the smaller hull is decades older

The ones retired this year are all mk2. The older ones were retired long ago.

Nope, see this video of 4th Lancers with Scimitar Mk1 in 2022.
The fleet was a mix of Mk1/2s

I'd rather see some amx 30 make their way to Ukraine, last I checked there were a decent amount in reserve or storage globally.

Hey, amx-30 guy, you've been posting a bit.

There's fuck-all amx-30's, they're basically relegated to Cyprus, and I suspect are being replaced by Israeli tanks.

First time I've ever posted about any French tank.

Spain retired 299 in 2002, the Saudis have 250 in reserve.

Future profits in Ukrainian industry. Being able to starve the global shitholes if they get uppity will also be a good perk.
