Quality 5.56x45mm ammo

I am looking for 5.56x45mm and seeing that there is PMC-X and PPU from Outdoor Limited. Which one am I better off buying?

PPU is good stuff. Never heard of PMC

PPU is serb ammo. It all works, and they're especially known for making cartridges that no one else makes anymore.

PMC X-Tac is south korean military ammo. My 55gr. stuff has red primer sealant.

Okay so which is better? I am about to buy 2k of PMC bronze 223 Remington and 2520 rounds of PPU 7.62x39mm. I just need 1k of 5.56x45mm and unsure whether to buy PPU or PMC bronze x-tac.

PMC bronze is different from x-tac. Both PMC x-tac and PPU are good. Get whichever is cheaper.

Is the PPU ammo good for home defense also?

See if there's any reviews on youtube. I can only speak to stuff going bang, not going through Black folk.

Well yeah. I need something for Black person/chimpout preparation.

Both are going to work. PPU and PMC, get it for training. My prefered SHTF round is Fiocchi green tips that are .65cents a round. .55grain cheap ammo still gets the job done. Ask Kyle Ritten House if cheap brass works. I mean, that's what we used in Vietnam; Green tip and hollow point 5.56 literally didn't exist.

I am gonna get PPU then. What you think of Wolf 7.62x39mm? Holdout until it is cheaper? It is 40 cents per round in outdoor limited. I am aware of the Russian ammo ban but I feel like I shouldn't pass off on it.

I thought about buying 7.62x39mm WOLF ammo but I thought about waiting on that. For all we know, the price could go down before the contract import ends or I find some guy who offers to give me steel cased ammo. Need some advice since I have 2 ARs, a wasr-10 and 5.56 beryl.

PMC is pretty bad, but it's brass which puts it several layers over steel. My AR has only ever had problems with steel. Either because it was too weak or the rims would break on the extraction. Get the PMC, xTac or other wise. Don't get the "good" PMC, it isn't worth it. Instead of getting "good" PMC, get Federal or Fiocchi, which are the two best out there.

I am getting PMC bronze 223 remington, and PPU 7.62x39mm and 5.56x45mm NATO

        >223 remington
        >5.56x45mm NATO
Literally the Same Thing. Many tests have been done, even by the venerable Saint Harrel and he could not tell a difference. Even with a measuring Chrono graph and shooting meat targets.

Only difference is, PPU is hotter

They're about the same accuracy and reliability. I've shot a frickton of both

PPU sucks dude. I bought some 180g .303 and it's just all over the place. The casing neck also flattens just with that brand for some reason.

PPU is great in all other calibers I’ve tried it in, maybe don’t complain when your niche ammo is a little wonky when the rest of their stuff is fine?
