Mark Serbu insists the cartridges were loaded with pistol charge instead of rifle powder, though you are not supposed to use SLAP ammunition and a recoil brake in the first place
I'll beat you so fricking hard you will wish you were that runty warwick davis in his midge horror, existential welded in trashcan of suffering when I get done with you. I'll transplant all the hair from your head to your butthole. YWNBAW
any film with Shannyn Sossamon is automatically granted KINO status. get the frick off my board and take your goddamn cringe with you.
Lol, please tell me that blue shirt guy isn't just a stock photo. I need to see this man making that face while running around in some shitty offbrand John Wick ripoff
Generically those are called stand off devices because they block the slide from being pushed back out of battery. That one looks integrated into the frame though which is interesting. I must be looking at it wrong or it's photoshopped because I"m not sure how you'd get the slide on and off if it were integrated.
Thanks for the answer, I feel like it has to be photoshopped or I just can't find a stand off like that for the PX4 at all. A shame because it looks incredible
God she was so perfect. I'll never understand why William didn't drop that skinny b***h down a well and spend the rest of his life dumping loads in based Tomboy blacksmith Kate.
Diff anon
Kate never really had a girl power moment besides just being really good at her job, she had that little spat with William at the start where she was like "Doo they think ah cannae dooit case I'ma wooman?"
And he was like
"No they just said you were a shitty blacksmith."
And she got all pouty.
Or did you mean Jocelyn? Yeah she jeopardized William's life ( multiple broken bones in a medieval setting? Jesus Christ.) because he couldn't instantly come up with poetry on the spot with no preparation and "something something it's so hard being a princess"
Yeah its a pretty entertaining movie but once the Joker enters his simp arc for that mediocre hapa (in medieval Europe) it kinda falls off. Paul Bettany and Alan Tudyk being madlads opposite each other is great, its like a bird fighting its reflection in a mirror.
>Tradwife tomboy hard working loyal clever wife with many fertile years left

>Can I make reloads and sell them to my buddy for cheap?
Legally speaking, you would be required to get a SOT license from BATF (assuming Amerifat).
Practically speaking, unless he tells people about it, or unless you frick up and he blows off his hand with one of your crappy reloads, no one will know.
>Pistol optics look like the best bet but I’m not sure if I can just slap them onto a rifle
You'd have to get a weaver/picatinny mount that it can go on
Go check prices on primers, powder and bullets before you consider where the cheap part come in. These days the only thing you can go cheap on is your hour wage.
why do most leos (and a lot of people here) screech about not using the slide release when reloading a pistol but everyone uses the bolt release (even has after market parts to make using easier/ambi) button on an ar15
NTA, but it sounds practical to me, at least. Not all semis have a slide release, as far as I know, so unless you intend on being fully proficient with a specific pistol, teaching a more universal technique makes sense.

what is the tactical advantage of not training with your weapon enough to not know whether it has a slide release or not
I think the idea being that you may not always have your personal weapon at-hand, and should be proficient with a wider array of reasonably possible weapons.
It makes sense from an *instructor's* perspective. He's got many people with many different guns, he can't give everyone individual attention. But the "just slingshot it" advice works for everyone so that's why he says it. It makes his job easier.
The individual shooter's perspective is totally different, that person ought to know exactly how his gun works and which method works best for him.
Because Glock sent that tidbit home with their certified armorers when they qualified on Gen 2 22s in 2003 and now the ITOs and FTOs think it's gospel for every handgun under the sun because different manuals of arms are too hard for people with room temperature IQs.
There was a trend in the 00s about always using gross motor skills instead of fine motor skills. The idea was that using the slide release would be risky during a high stress environment (i.,e., out of battery reload). Smart people questioned this and said, instead the magazine release and the trigger examples of fine motor skills? Now good instructors teach both ways.
I feel for the Gucci Glock meme by using an Aimpoint ACRO combined with a Kagwerks slide release for a high bore grip. Now I can’t sling shot the slide without occasionally hitting the adjustment buttons or occasionally bending the slide release and getting a glove or thumb punched.
From what I've heard it's because using the slide release to allow the slide to go forward causes unneeded wear on the slide whereas pulling it back and allowing it to go forward is a more natural movement and causes less wear.
I dunno if that's true or not tho, sounds like another thing that makes very minimal difference in the long run.
>Friend wants a .22 can >Mention they're overpriced and to F1 Alibaba shit >He actually gets a tax stamp and goes the GunBroker solent trap route >Engrave it, drill it, damn nice for $70
Now the ATF sent him a ' frick you' notice saying the solvent trap was a suppressor, illegally imported, and an existing suppressor can't be on a F1.
What do? They're bluffing, but a lawyer would cost more than the suppressor to fight it.
It was perfectly legal per the ATF in 2020 when it occurred.
The ATF changed their bullshit law to include dimpled solvent traps as suppressors in 2022 after that trap was legally converted to a suppressor.
Grandfathered in and AAC is out $400 goy bucks for a beer can's worth of aluminum.
For niche reloading anons-
Hornady has recently run out of 7.35 (.300) bullets and so far has not talked about manufacturing more, taking with it the last option for bullets in the Carcano as far as I've been able to find. Does anyone know of option for reloading- possibilities of casts or maybe another company that makes them, or even a swage to shrink .308?
That's not a caliber I handload for so I don't know where you might be able to find off the shelf projos. Casting is an option. So is having a company make lathe-turned bullets at that diameter, like GS Custom. Swaging is most likely your best bet though, it's going to save a ton of labor over casting and will certainly be cheaper than having high-end custom bullets made.
Aye I was worried about that, unsurprisingly there isn't new production for ANY of the equipment for this save for Lee's die sets, so even coming across a swage is going to be a pain... but at this point there really isn't much of an option
Normally I'd say cast 'em, but that's more practical for either pistol or black powder calibers. The carcano is no slouch in the velocity department so you'd have to fiddle with gas checks and I'd bet you'd still have leading.
You might check with Corbin about swaging dies.
If you know anyone who has access to a metal lathe it would be pretty easy to make a swage die you could use in any common handloading press. Buy 7/8"-14 bolt about 2-2.5" long overall. Chuck it up in a lathe, face and center drill the end, then drill it through with an "M" size drill (0.295"). Then replace the drill with a #6 taper pin reamer and run that into the hole most of the way, just leave about 1/2" of the .295" diameter at the very end of the hole. Now run a .2995 reamer to finish the last little bit of the die. Polish the ID with fine auto valve lapping compound and a wooden dowel. Then repeat with fine metal polish like Flitz. Even if you have to buy all those bits it's probably only about $75 in total.
Thank you a lot man, I'm probably going to go the route of swaging it like you said. There's a machine shop that specializes in fittings near me and I'll see if they could do this. Now this should work fine in my reloading set, but to hold the bullet I'm guessing there's a swage bullet holder or something?
Are there any decent paying contracted security jobs that don't require military experience? I'm in the process of training for a contracted security job for 20 dollars an hour and I'm planning on trying to find something better if I can't get hired on for security directly under the plant which pays 32 an hour in the next 3 or 4 years. Preferably something overseas but that doesn't look feasible.
Why hasn't Kel-tec made a semi auto black powder smoothbore to sell to felons and folks who want to larp as felons at the range for the street cred? Is it because they hate freedom?
Usually I'd agree but the Auto 5 (or similar long recoil shotgun) and surprisingly Hi-Point actually work rather well. They use cartridges, though, which really defeats the point.
That doesn't sound like an unsolvable problem
For me it's the risk of still-burning black powder from the round you just fired still being in the chamber when it's opened and loads the next round, potentially detonating the magazine
if that's a 1 in 10,000 chance in your design, you can't sell it
>For me it's the risk of still-burning black powder from the round you just fired still being in the chamber when it's opened and loads the next round, potentially detonating the magazine
With sealed and crimped brass-cased ammo, that's not even a 1/10k chance. That'd require a catastrophic failure in the ammo and even then it'd only be one case blowing up.
>I know some scary-ass gun toting b***hes.
your mtf troony friends don't count anon. Go back to r*ddit.
>He's never known a farm wife or a woman who owns a convenience store in the ghetto
My man, you need to get out of the suburbs.
Do spec ops dudes still silently kill sentries? If so, do they use knives or garrotes or what? Or is that era over and they just pick a spot on the gps to drone
I'd imagine they avoid it if at all possible, due to how risky it is. But when I was in the Army a Green Beret told me their method was to shove a knife up the taint rupturing the diaphragm, preventing the target from vocalizing at all and causing them to bleed out fairly quickly, but who knows he could've been yanking my chain, but he did say the knife needs to be a minimum of 6" and if he was just messing with me I don't think he would've included such a minute detail.
Through the liver, up & in towards the ribcage makes more sense. I'm not entirely certain they would be unable to vocalize. Maybe if you're timing it on the exchale.
>Start LLC >Make account with distributors (like RSR, Lipseys, Davidson, etc.) >Buy ammo wholesale, sell to boomers at local gunshows for higher-than-online, but lower-than-Basspro prices.
Any reason not to do this? The idea is dependent on gunshow boomers not knowing/understanding how to use ammoseek, and I really have no idea if they do or not. Worse case scenario, I'm stuck with a large quantity of ammo, but that's not that bad.
To be clear, this would just be a little side gig, I'm not suggesting this as a livelihood.
Most big distributors like Sport's South, Lipsey's and Zander's won't even let you open an account unless you have an FFL, even if you're only trying to sell ammo or parts. Your best bet is buying bulk import ammo from ~~*MCT Defense*~~ or some other importer. MCT was bringing in Yugo M67 last year and selling by the pallet, but you had to pick it up at their port of entry. Alternatively, importation licenses are cheaper than FFLs, and you can get them for batches of ammunition, but you're on your own trying to buy international.
Making ammo is extremely time consuming laborious work without at least $10k in gear plus affordable primers can be difficult to find. They used to be about $30/1000 and now they are going for $100/1000 but in sure the major ammo manufacturers are still paying low price for it. Cheapest powder will bi titegroup for pistol rounds. And cheapest brass will be once fired and need to be cleaned and processed. Rifle brass tends to be expensive. I don't think it's really worth it. My 9mm reloads are costing about ~.30 each which isn't as cheap as the cheapest 9mm ammo but im using hollowpoints and loading +p.
My rs regulate upper 1913 is pointing at like 0:30-0:45 instead of 12 o clock. Does this happen to anyone else and should I try shimming it or something or let it be.
>lite >reduced recoil >breast cancer awareness ribbon >probably subsonic ammo with plastic tips >the plastic is pink for the breast cancer tie-in

Nobody you start putting lead in is going to think >Oh, this is reduced recoil ammunition, due to this decision these bullets don't count
They are going to be like >AHHHH OH MY GOD CALL THE AMBERLAMPS
Are you 21 and just haven't gotten your new DL yet? If so yes, you don't need a horizontal license to do 21 yo stuff, it's just to make it easier to check. Go by some beer if you don't believe me.
>im trans BTW if that matters
if its a strength issue try pushing (using your chest instead of your shoulder) instead of pulling, pushing your hands together in a prayer motion but holding the gun.
if its a grip issue you cant try pic related but honestly you might want to sell it and go for somthing like a beretta bobcat (or taurus clone if poor) or a s&w shield EZ. guns made with b***hes in mind.
you are just very very very weak, I just did it with just my pinky curled around the slide
forgot to add almost any revolver to my list of recommendations, just know you will probably have to pull the hammer with both hands before firing. someone probably makes a "for women" revolver that is not the case with but i wouldn't know because im not a noodle armed b***h. go do some work with your hands shit.
>you are just very very very week
i used to have a bb gun and i had to put the gun in between my legs and clamp down just to wiener the lever action thingy
Yeah just work out. Buy some 5 lb weights at walmart. Get one of those hand exercisers. Do something. The Red Ryder (which is what I assume you're talking about) IS much harder to wiener for some odd reason, but not so hard you should HAVE to do that.

>Red Ryder
Not necessarily, I remember when I was a kid my dad had a nice Diana air rifle, it had a side-lever to wiener it. When I was a kid that was impossible to wiener. As an adult it's easy though it clearly takes effort that is too much for a kid.
There's no way he was too weak to wiener a Red Ryder.
>lift something or hell squeeze one of those foam squeeze balls for 30 minutes a day.
This, buy a pinky from the toy aisle of your local store and get squeezing. Literal arthritic old women do this as an exercise (as well as rolling it under arms, back, feet).

Grip training should be treated like any other type of strength training. I would start with rice digs for hand strength and and, if possible, general strength training without wraps or glove.
As for sport specific strength, buy 25 snap caps and 5 days a week perform Tap Rack Bang dry fire drills. The snap caps will insure that you are fully pulling the slide back. Start with 5 sets of 5 TRB and slowly reduce the rest between sets and/or increase reps. Once you can do 25 in a row you’ll be good to go. By-the-by, is loading handgun magazines by hand difficult?
how would I learn to counter spooks?
as far as I am aware only spooks get taught counter-spooking but my country doesn't operate spooks
only resource seem to be writings by ex-spooks and while I imagine the core philosophy of spooking is unchanged most of those writings tend to be two to three decades old meaning in terms of tech and tactics they are most likely irrelevant >inb4 every country spooks
I don't mean generic spooks but the kind that is spookiest
I have a heritage rough rider 22 as do a few of my buddies. We are holding our own version of cowboy action shooting in a few months and I am looking for resources to learn how to make the trigger and hammer smoother and lighter without spending an arm and a leg. I've looked online but can only find dis & ass videos and reviews. Thanks lads.
Does anyone recognize the rifle on the wall-mounted rack at the right side of the pic, second from the bottom? The one with the telescopic sight. It's the one gun in the pic I can't identify and it's driving me nuts.
It closely resembles this, but it's not quite the same, and given the autistic level of detail given to all the rest of the guns I don't think this is quite it. It appears to be an underhammer design, I think?
Holy shit, its Ian top right, middle portrait.
Bottom left in portrait group is John Moses Browning
Bottom right is a maid in the position of a card, specifically jack of hearts or king of diamonds.
Top left looks very familiar,
Any info on top right and large right?
I thought the one to the right with the bug was going to be a reference to Carl Akeley but the pic I was thinking of was in a different pose and he's not holding the leopard by its legs. Also checked.
And the woman with the shotgun I thought may have been Annie Oakley but there seems to be no such picture of her with a broken open shotgun, nor does it make sense that she'd have a bandolier across her chest. Perhaps I'm missing another famous female sharpshooter or cowgirl from the 1800s-early 1900s.
Maybe a reference to a pic of Roosevelt? I can't find any photos like that with him in it, but the mustache and outfit matches well, as do the glasses I think I can see.
What kind of vest is this? It had no markings, and I couldn't tell by feeling if it's ballistic nylon or kevlar. It was pretty soft like kevlar, but I don't know for sure. No markings. It's built just like the old nylon flak vests
Look at it. See that number 815? If the cylinder were shaved down that number would be cut away. Also if it were shaved down the machining marks and finish would be identical between the ejector star and the rest of the cylinder. On this gun you can clearly see different machine marks and different colors of bluing between the ejector and the rest of the cylinder.
normal for my cc to not show online gun purchase until/after the FFL receives it? it's been a week and i haven't heard back
t. always bought in person before
>Best Gun >A pretentious English term for a gun that must have several specific details. To qualify for the title, it must have a Sidelock action with Intercepting Sears, have Chopper Lump Barrels, be Stocked to the Fences and have its lumps concealed by its floorplate. While almost any respectable gunmaker can accomplish these requirements, the implication, of course, is that it is also built to the highest standard of quality.
How often do I need to clean my beretta pistol?
Every time after I go shooting?
After every shoot is good practice, but you could easily do it every 1000 rounds and be fine. Personal preference until it's so gunked up that it's failing to fire
Maybe Amazon? Amazon in the US has a few different companies selling the, no idea if they're surplus or repo, but the quality and price would probably be the same

Any reason I couldn't repair pitting with electroplating and polish? Just seems like adding material vs removing it via abrasion is a better strategy for an antique barrel or whatever.
The issue with electroplating is setting up the conditions such that the deposition happens exclusively where it is desired, otherwise you will see a corresponding increase in thickness along the entire conducting surface that is immersed in the plating solution. Also, the pitting of the workpiece is typically rather significant in thickness to what is normally plated on to give corrosion protection. Finally, to do the plating properly where it will strongly adhere to the surface, slow-and-steady is how it goes, which could take many days to weeks to get up to the desired plate thickness.
>forced diversity
female blacksmiths were virtually unheard of and this is further evidence that hollywood has always been trying to push their leftist agenda on us. the fact that no one brings this up proves how pozzed this board has become
Its actual pretty funny to go back in time with old movies to pinpoint which exact stage in the agenda was being pushed at that particular time.
90s and early 2000s was squarely in the "blacks are cool, women are strong and gays are funny" stage which coincided with the "white dads are fat/stupid/lame and kids are always smarter/cooler than their parents" stage.
Not from /misc/ and what was said should be obvious to anyone with a brain stem. Its just kinda funny to see how obvious it was and how we didn't even notice it at the time.
i always used to think it was just for comedic juxtaposition. in a vacuum, a single instance can still be seen that way. it's when you zoom out and notice the overwhelming pattern that the agenda becomes clear.
is there such a thing as a pump action shotgun that works "in reverse" as in instead of pulling and pushing to chamber another cartridge, you push and pull ? and if such a thing exists, could you realistically "bump fire" it ?
No, that doesn't exist.
You most likely wouldn't be able to bump fire it since the motion required to operate the pump is quite long and takes some effort. Bump-firing a semiautomatic weapon is much easier since all you have to do is hit the trigger, you're not applying any significant force for a significant distance like you'd have to do for bump-firing a manual action gun.
I think there may have been a weird DIY shotgun that was pump forward? Maybe some odd old gun? Dig around C&RSenal maybe. I swear such a thing existed but not the way you're probably thinking.
you mean something like the neostead and RMB-93? both have inverted cycles
answered our question, that's exactly what I was thinking about, but yeah as
No, that doesn't exist.

said, looking at videos it looks like it would take too much force to bump fire them
too long of an action to bump fire. Counter by shortening pump. While you can shorten the length of pump to an arbitrary degree, that just means it takes more effort to pump which necessitates stronger recoiling shells to unlock and travel the whole distance. What ever you divide the pump distance by, you multiply the pump force required. So a normally 6 inch pump cycle with a (idk what the numbers actually are) 4 lb force unlock/rewiener force required, if shortened to 2 inch pump would require 12 lb force, and shortening down to 1" would make it require 24 lb force. So, in a slam fired gun with the trigger tied down, the pump would be the trigger and it would be 24 lbs and 1 inch of pull. The good news is most mechanisms with resistance can be reduced to arbitrary degrees, downside here is you still need the energy to unlock and move the bolt rearward. Possible to get functioning, but improbable to get reliably. >tldr: Yes it exists, no* you can't bump fire it.
No just don’t tell anyone and pay out of pocket if you can. Getting help is what’s most important though anon. You can’t enjoy your guns if you’re not around

If you are ok with religion find a Christian therapist, and avoid women, israelites, and minorities. Never mention guns or self harm.
If you really are thinking of killing yourself, give your guns away to a person that will let you visit them, like a divorced white dad, on the weekends.
I'm not religious but I have no problems with religion. I could never kill myself, I have four little sisters and a mother to take care of.
Sorry if you've heard this before, but do you eat well, exercise somewhat regularly, and touch grass often? That might not fix it, but without those things, you don't have a fighting chance. You could also try eating more chocolate (Darker the better, Cacao has chemicals that more regularly convert to oxytocin IIRC, it genuinely works for me at least) and some St. Johns Wart.
Yes Black person I heard it all before >stop touching your dick >go outside >work out >get a real hobby >no i said a real hobby >eat right >get some friends >get a gf >get a job >have sex
I live in the sun, I've been working out for years, a million different hobbies, I've been eating decent for years and my diet has only gotten better with time. I jerk off once a week to my imagination. I've had a normal number of gfs, and am not a virgin. I have a small circle of friends and coworkers I regularly hang out with, I have a big, close family. I drink a little socially, I smoke a little socially and I don't do either too much in one sitting, maybe two or three times a month.

Scratch that idea. Just talk to a priest, it's free and they want to help you. In fact, if you're Catholic, you can do this in confession too, the priest is literally obligated on threat of expulsion from the clergy and/or excommunication if he ever divulges things you say during confession (I don't know how other denominations who practice confession handle this. Do others do this?). All he can do is urge you not to do something bad, and he can't administer forgiveness unless you're truly repentant for whatever you've sinned for.
As well, a priest could gauge if the issue isn't actually psychological but instead a demon.
Thanks

I just want to say that even though you're not religious, I'd still trust a priest over a therapist. It's also free to do so, so long as he has time. As per Catholic canon, even non-Catholics are allowed to confess and seek penance for sins. While I don't think sin is what's troubling you here, you're welcomed to speak your mind in a safe place. If your family attends church, I'd speak to their priest as he'd be known to you more than a stranger.
>obligated on threat of expulsion from the clergy and/or excommunication if he ever divulges things
Excuse me for this nonsense sentence merging, I'm tired. I'm trying to say that he's not allowed to tell anyone what you say in there whether you've repented or not. If he did, he'd be expelled from the clergy and possibly excommunicated too. Therefore, it's better than therapy because a therapist is going to be about as helpful if not worse, charge you a lot of money, and can report you to the authorities over anything you say twisted out of context. Priest is free, confidential, and may have a lifetime of experience to draw from at least.
Did I hear correctly that in rifles chambered for .308 you can also use .300BLK in them as well? How would this affect the gun if you were to use this as your primary ammo for it?
The bullets in the cartridges might be interchangeable, but the cartridges themselves have completely different proportions (x45 vs x51) and likely different pressures (which makes .308 go farther faster)
Bad for a few reasons. >oil wicks into primers = deactivated/dud primers = no bang >oil on ammo = higher pressure exerted on bolt if bang >oil on bullets = potential damage to barrel due to trying to compress oil between the bullet and bore - maybe? (can't be sure on that one but I swear I remember hearing it, but no data IIRC)
So don't. If you're that autistic about your ammo, the problem is really oxygen and moisture collecting. When it's sealed, you don't get more oxygen than is already in there, nor moisture. Other than (very fast) large swings in temperature, not much will make the water condense. Don't open it if you don't need to. Buy some metal ammo cans even if just from Harbor Freight; air can pass through plastic but not metal. Real world test on point 2: https://youtu.be/7bhWxFbYdyw?t=758
Doesn't the vector have an interchangeable receiver area for that? You could probably buy one for each caliber you want and swap them out as you please. But I'm also not familiar with the civie versions so I don't know if it's any different. Also don't know much about maintenance. Hope what little I can offer helps somehow.
Also, is maintenance a pain in the ass with a vector?
The one of our range is in 9mm and it isn't the most reliable gun we got, by far. Maintenance will be easier on ar-9's and the likes. Controls for the bolt aren't great. They're a fun novelty in the beginning, but in the end they're just overpriced pcc that have no point in semi auto imo. I'd advise to keep your money and get something else.
What are good brands for 1911's? There's like, a gorillion out there. I don't need some top of the line rich people 1911, but I don't want pure chinesium.
This is going to be a very long shot but did the british consider rearming their lend-lease Shermans with Browning .303 Mark II to simplify logisitcs? I'm not sure whether the Mark II would be suitable for tank use but enough of them were made for it to be feasable to do so.
I don't own one but I've handled a repro once. The magazine is similar in size to a pistol mag. Like put two aluminum 9mm doublestack mags together back to back and that should be about it I think. They're definitely more like subguns than rifles, I'd argue that the M2 and M3 were really just beefy submachine guns rather than low-powered rifles.
If a round doesn't go off in a revolver, and you cycle to the next round in the cylinder, but the previous round goes off afterwards, doesn't the revolver just explode in your hands or at least scrape alongside the barrel or anything else?
Depends. In BP revolvers (non cartridge), it's usually fine. I'd imagine it's a little more violent in a smokeless cartridge using revolver, though.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0UhrosruB8
Look up chain firing, it is not what you described but the results (round in revolver chamber going off that is not aligned with barrel) are the same.
What you are talking about is delayed ignition (sometimes called a hang fire) and is much rarer with modern (post-ww1) ammo.
I just got a surplus M16A4 pistol grip at a gun show, and was wondering if you guys have any advice on attaching it to a Mossberg Security (the one with the traditional-shaped polymer stock) before I start drilling. Also you can't call me a moron for buying it since it was $3
I was able to find this.

Having messed with both M69 and PASGT vests in the past I know that the M69 is much bulkier and heavier than the PASGT. Do you know how much yours weighs per chance? That would probably be the dead giveaway if it's kevlar or ballistic nylon.

Two questions.
Question 1: I've tried shooting my Star Model 30 and my aim is kinda shit. Tried this after switching from shooting my AR to shooting my pistol. My AR groups were actually great, but the Star had terrible accuracy at less range. I felt like the recoil was wrong somehow, I'm more used to revolvers. I was shooting 115 grain bullets, 9mm. Should I be using another ammo type or am I just gonna have to train this out somehow?
Question 2: a girl I know just sent me a pic of a gun and a vibrator on her beside table and said "either way I'm busting". She's told me she browses this site so I don't know if I should post this here. I've cropped the image so only the gun is visible. Firstly, what gun is this? Also sorry for the quality. Original is better but I'd rather not post the full thing just in case. Secondly, what the FRICK does this mean? Did she send me this by mistake or something? At the risk of repeating myself, keep in mind this was right next to a vibrator. I don't think I've ever disclosed my /k/ interests to my coworkers before so there shouldn't be a way this was targeted at me right? Or perhaps it was just obvious? I live in a deep red state so it could also just be coincidence. Do women normally show platonic guy friends this kind of stuff?
Handguns in general are tricky to shoot well. Star M30 if I recall correctly is a DA/SA design so they tend to have less than stellar triggers. Practice more, and failing that check sight alignment.
The girl's gun is a SCCY, a really cheap Kel-Tec knockoff. Sounds like she is implying that she is very depressed and treats it with masturbation, potentially inviting you to make it less of a one-person sort of thing. I'd seek clarification from her if that's what she means before running in dick first, but even then you probably shouldn't since she probably has a lot of screws loose.

Can I get an honest opinion of the Citadel 1911? I’m on a budget and I want a 1911 simply to have one. If it makes any difference I’m also a CA resident and this particular pistol has came up in my research for complaint 1911s. The few things I have seen suggest it is an ok enough entry level (price wise) 1911
It's basically an RIA with nicer features.
Only downside is that from the ones I've handles some of the machining isn't rounded off leaving somewhat sharp edges on things like the slide serrations.
Is it a sign of the lockup getting weaker if the slide automatically releases just by me putting a new mag in without me pressing the slide release?
That would be a slide release issue rather than slide to barrel lockup.
I didn’t buy it, but I do have a ballistic nylon ass protector from Vietnam, the kind helicopter pilots wore. It was definitely thinner than the ass protector, not terribly heavy but not light. I think it would have to be late production ballistic nylon vest, like around when they were testing or just started producing M81 Woodland
How varied are aftermarket frame grips for 2011's? Are there grips out there that have more of a CZ feel to the grip? Just how much can I customize/personalize a 2011?
why didnt they do rocketball like this? i get the bullet itself probably has awful ballistics, but if you did 9mm or something small for really small subguns and shit, why not?
the primary problem with rocket ball was it was underpowered and couldnt have much powder, so why not make more space?
With modern gunpowder you don't even need to lengthen it. The old-school rocket ball load was 6-7 grains of black powder. The modern 9mm load is about 6 grains of smokeless. Just stick smokeless powder in it and it's viable.
That said, rocket ball arms have other disadvantages. For example, there's no ejector, extractor, or ejection port so clearing the gun without shooting it is rather difficult.
They (Swedes in this case) actually did exactly what you are proposing. The Italians did the same thing too, with 9mm AUPO and made a sub gun for it.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benelli_CB_M2 >Why didn't it take off?
Despite what wiki claims, it still had and needed an extractor and ejector for duds and malfunctions and clearing it, meaning it had all the same parts of a regular 9mm but worse.
It costs money to switch to new guns
It requires much tighter tolerances to get a gas seal as the casing no longer provides that around the chamber locks and firing pin hole(s)
Slightly improved ballistics (iirc <5% for same powder and bullet weight) are not enough in a world where everyone wants %200 improvement minimum aka the reason why others like the G11 or Steyer ACR wasn't adopted by everyone.

dogshit pistol, worst grip ever, she will probable bend your dick in half durring foreplay due to her deformed hands if shes can actually hold that thing and think "yeah, ill buy this!" over literally anyother gun.
I mean I bought a RIA M206 so maybe it was meant to be. If this has a shit grip mine must be worse (and I don't even protest that, I'm a weirdo with a hitchhiker's thumb)
Funny thing is I also started shooting handguns with a revolver and bought a Star (BM) as my first 9mm. The weirdest thing is that out of all the times I tried to shoot it, it didn't group great. But once I was changing targets, alone, so I went downrange and drew it and fired a mag just out of curiosity. Best damn group I've ever shot with that handgun to this day. So maybe try shooting it without putting TOO much thought into it and too much fussing with your grip? Idunno.
I'll try it. I think later this week I'll bring it with me to the range and probably not fuss with the AR this trip, I'll just bring this and my carry revolver and see if I can do anything with some more shooting experience. At the least I'd like to compare how my groups are with both. Probably sounds hard to believe but the Star is barely used, previous owner put two mags through it, cleaned and oiled it, and left it in the case for years until he had to sell it to pay off a debt.
I was able to find this.

Well, my groups are pretty bad so I doubt it's the sights at the moment. I've shot a Beretta 92 just fine so I'm not sure why the Star's acting up. Is it just that I shot it after shooting my rifle? I haven't been able to test it so it could have just been that I wasn't accustomed to the lighter weight after handling my AR for so long and it was just a bad time to start shooting it for the first time. Would that affect it significantly? Do you normally need to train on shooting handguns right after shooting your rifle for long periods? May sound dumb of me but I can't recall doing that before. Maybe I have once, I don't remember.
I don't think she'd be depressed, as long as I've known her she's been very upbeat and outgoing. Is this how normals flirt? Is she autistic if not? Still, I'll check in to see if she's doing alright.

Factory drilled? Check if Weaver makes a base/two piece base set for the Marlin 81. If not, check if any of them have the same screw spacing; the 10/22 TO9 isn't even 10/22 specific and has two extra holes at the bare minimum. Ditto many other Weaver bases.

not at all. if the slide autoforwards or not depends on your reload technique. the more you rush it or jolt the gun the more likely it is to close on its own.
I just wonder cause I have a Walther PPQ Q4. I do kinda ram it in but also I run +P through it even though it's not technically rated for that. I've been assured it actually can run the +P though just expect to change out the barrel earlier. Which is fine because I can get a heavier duty aftermarket barrel anyways or just upgrade to the PDP.

I'm sorry to say it, but you have a faster path to citizenship coming over as an illegal immigrant from Mexico than as a legal immigrant from bongistan. Just take the dreamer pill and come shoot with us.
Anon... You're starting to glow a little.
The issue is, even if I am Hwite and Anglo, the absolute quagmire of legal ambiguity of being an illegal immigrant in the US seems to be a special form of Hell in of itself.
Still they should be deported one and all.
I'm half joking of course, but it's sadly true. Should people just be able to barge in and live here? Absolutely not. Do they? Yes, and they get citizenship faster than people who ask permission first. From what I understand you are looking at 4-5 years and several thousand dollars to get legal citizenship.
Anyone know of some good, lightweight cargo/"tactical" pants that can be worn in hotter climates?
Wanna be able to wear cargo pants in the summer but a lot of shit I'm finding is made of heavier material. I've seen a lot of people talk about 5.11 but I don't wanna look like a tacticool try hard. I just like muh pockets.
Hey so I have a Walther PPQ Q4 you know this because I already posted in this thread. Anyways I just field stripped it for cleaning and this piece just fell out of it and I don't know where it goes. Anyone have any ideas?
Is there a 2022 equivalent to how the SKS used to be? Basically a cheap starter rifle-caliber rifle I could buy on a college budget. Is the closest a $500-$600 AR?
what's a good cheap mag-fed 22 rifle for plinking? is there significant performance difference between say a savage mark ii, savage 64 series, and rossi rs22? how about mag availability/compatibility? anybody i'm sleeping on?
I have a savage 64f, only issue is that you need to be sort of precise on how far you put the mag in or else it won’t feed correctly. The other’s I don’t know. Also, Savage’s have a lot less aftermarket parts and the only magazine available retail is a 10 rounder. Savage started making a 20 rounder for their new tactical 64 model recently, but it isn’t available for sale seperate from the rifle yet
Marlin used to be that with the 60 or 795. It was like 50 bucks more than the cheapest 22s like what you listed but twice the gun in terms of quality. Unfortunatly ruger owns marlin now and that whole line which was the main competitor to the 10/22 is dead.
What’re some good budget 12 gauge rounds that aren’t birdshot? I want something that can actually down something at a distance but won’t feel like I’m draining all my cash for practicing with them

Mark Serbu insists the cartridges were loaded with pistol charge instead of rifle powder, though you are not supposed to use SLAP ammunition and a recoil brake in the first place

I'll never understand why William didn't drop that skinny b***h down a well and spend the rest of his life dumping loads in based Tomboy blacksmith Kate.
she was cute until she pulled that strongwahman shit

Anyone have a suggestion for a reasonably priced, low profile red dot to put on a Marlin 45-70?

You'd have to get a weaver/picatinny mount that it can go on
Go check prices on primers, powder and bullets before you consider where the cheap part come in. These days the only thing you can go cheap on is your hour wage.
why do most leos (and a lot of people here) screech about not using the slide release when reloading a pistol but everyone uses the bolt release (even has after market parts to make using easier/ambi) button on an ar15
I have never seen somebody screech about using the slide release to release the slide. Sounds like fuddlore or trolling
I thought it was fudds at first too. then a young HRT guy told me never to use slide release /sigh.
maybe it's a florida sheriffs thing. can't find one that doesn't try to 'educate' me on the right way to reload when im at their range.
Idk, but the owner's manual for my M&P Shield says to pull the slide back as opposed to using the slide release.
Are you trying to monkeyfrick the slide release with your dominant hand and flagging people next to you or something?
I did a tactical handgun course and the guy recommended slingshotting because it definitely works on all guns. Seems like reasonable advice.
NTA, but it sounds practical to me, at least. Not all semis have a slide release, as far as I know, so unless you intend on being fully proficient with a specific pistol, teaching a more universal technique makes sense.
what is the tactical advantage of not training with your weapon enough to not know whether it has a slide release or not
I think the idea being that you may not always have your personal weapon at-hand, and should be proficient with a wider array of reasonably possible weapons.
what are you doing that you're getting into self defense situations while holding somebody else's gun? destroying the shagohod?
That's a moronic idea
It makes sense from an *instructor's* perspective. He's got many people with many different guns, he can't give everyone individual attention. But the "just slingshot it" advice works for everyone so that's why he says it. It makes his job easier.
The individual shooter's perspective is totally different, that person ought to know exactly how his gun works and which method works best for him.
Because Glock sent that tidbit home with their certified armorers when they qualified on Gen 2 22s in 2003 and now the ITOs and FTOs think it's gospel for every handgun under the sun because different manuals of arms are too hard for people with room temperature IQs.
perfect answer, thanks so much. explains the leo parroting perfectly
Anytime, fricker.
Because if you listen to other trainers besides my company then YOU WILL DIE, you don't want to die anon, do you? Buy my cool guy merch
>Friend wants a .22 can
>Mention they're overpriced and to F1 Alibaba shit
>He actually gets a tax stamp and goes the GunBroker solent trap route
>Engrave it, drill it, damn nice for $70
Now the ATF sent him a ' frick you' notice saying the solvent trap was a suppressor, illegally imported, and an existing suppressor can't be on a F1.
What do? They're bluffing, but a lawyer would cost more than the suppressor to fight it.
This is why there should be an IQ test on gun ownership
It was perfectly legal per the ATF in 2020 when it occurred.
The ATF changed their bullshit law to include dimpled solvent traps as suppressors in 2022 after that trap was legally converted to a suppressor.
Grandfathered in and AAC is out $400 goy bucks for a beer can's worth of aluminum.
Homemade suppressors are legal. It wasn’t a suppressor when it was purchased. Send them a frick you letter back.

Only because I love you, anon.

Why hasn't Kel-tec made a semi auto black powder smoothbore to sell to felons and folks who want to larp as felons at the range for the street cred? Is it because they hate freedom?
Because a semiauto BP would make it about 10 rounds before seizing up.
How is this different from any other Keltec?
ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

>Start LLC
>Make account with distributors (like RSR, Lipseys, Davidson, etc.)
>Buy ammo wholesale, sell to boomers at local gunshows for higher-than-online, but lower-than-Basspro prices.

Are you 21 and just haven't gotten your new DL yet? If so yes, you don't need a horizontal license to do 21 yo stuff, it's just to make it easier to check. Go by some beer if you don't believe me.
Yes, especially if it's private sale. You only need to be 18 for a private sale too.
Any magazines that can hold 44-40 rounds? I assume 44 type magazines will work? (I ask because I want to reload a SAO revolver faster)
A .44 magnum magazine should fit them but the only one of those I know of is the Deagle.
And the way to "reload" a SAO faster is to carry more SAOs.
Thanks anon. (I'll buy more guns later)
I just got my first gun a Glock 23.
However, I just realized something, I am not strong enough to pull the slide back.
What do I do?
just get a slide strap
>im trans BTW if that matters
if its a strength issue try pushing (using your chest instead of your shoulder) instead of pulling, pushing your hands together in a prayer motion but holding the gun.
if its a grip issue you cant try pic related but honestly you might want to sell it and go for somthing like a beretta bobcat (or taurus clone if poor) or a s&w shield EZ. guns made with b***hes in mind.
well i mean those people who grab the back of their slide with their thumb and pull it
seems impossible
maybe those were 9mm?
you are just very very very weak, I just did it with just my pinky curled around the slide
forgot to add almost any revolver to my list of recommendations, just know you will probably have to pull the hammer with both hands before firing. someone probably makes a "for women" revolver that is not the case with but i wouldn't know because im not a noodle armed b***h. go do some work with your hands shit.

Dude just work out for gods sake.

tell me more weak femboy, also whats your contact info
Yeah just work out. Buy some 5 lb weights at walmart. Get one of those hand exercisers. Do something. The Red Ryder (which is what I assume you're talking about) IS much harder to wiener for some odd reason, but not so hard you should HAVE to do that.
>Red Ryder
Not necessarily, I remember when I was a kid my dad had a nice Diana air rifle, it had a side-lever to wiener it. When I was a kid that was impossible to wiener. As an adult it's easy though it clearly takes effort that is too much for a kid.
There's no way he was too weak to wiener a Red Ryder.
hey range femboy the leather club is two blocks down
it would be the same if it was a 9. you are just incredibly weak.
lift something or hell squeeze one of those foam squeeze balls for 30 minutes a day.
>lift something or hell squeeze one of those foam squeeze balls for 30 minutes a day.
This, buy a pinky from the toy aisle of your local store and get squeezing. Literal arthritic old women do this as an exercise (as well as rolling it under arms, back, feet).
shid
pull the slide back with one hand and push the gun forward with the other
Grip training should be treated like any other type of strength training.

Does anyone recognize the rifle on the wall-mounted rack at the right side of the pic, second from the bottom? The one with the telescopic sight. It's the one gun in the pic I can't identify and it's driving me nuts.
It closely resembles this, but it's not quite the same, and given the autistic level of detail given to all the rest of the guns I don't think this is quite it. It appears to be an underhammer design, I think?
what in the world
Holy shit, its Ian top right, middle portrait.
Anybody have experience buying used? Specifically from Armslist? What are some ways to get burned and ways not to get burned?
What kind of vest is this? It had no markings, and I couldn't tell by feeling if it's ballistic nylon or kevlar. It was pretty soft like kevlar, but I don't know for sure. No markings. It's built just like the old nylon flak vests

How can you tell if a Webley Mark VI cylinder has been shaved down?

>Best Gun
>A pretentious English term for a gun that must have several specific details.

Finally, to do the plating properly where it will strongly adhere to the surface, slow-and-steady is how it goes, which could take many days to weeks to get up to the desired plate thickness.

female blacksmiths were virtually unheard of and this is further evidence that hollywood has always been trying to push their leftist agenda on us. the fact that no one brings this up proves how pozzed this board has become

Thoughts on conceal carry insurance? Meme or real deal?
is there such a thing as a pump action shotgun that works "in reverse" as in instead of pulling and pushing to chamber another cartridge, you push and pull ? and if such a thing exists, could you realistically "bump fire" it ?
No, that doesn't exist.
You most likely wouldn't be able to bump fire it since the motion required to operate the pump is quite long and takes some effort. Bump-firing a semiautomatic weapon is much easier since all you have to do is hit the trigger, you're not applying any significant force for a significant distance like you'd have to do for bump-firing a manual action gun.
alright, yeah that's what I thought, thanks
I think there may have been a weird DIY shotgun that was pump forward? Maybe some odd old gun? Dig around C&RSenal maybe. I swear such a thing existed but not the way you're probably thinking.
answered our question, that's exactly what I was thinking about, but yeah as
said, looking at videos it looks like it would take too much force to bump fire them
you mean something like the neostead and RMB-93? both have inverted cycles
too long of an action to bump fire.
Will I lose my guns if I go to a psychiatrist? I've been having some issues I think I should get sorted out.

The problem is my life doesn't suck so why do I feel like shit and think about shit. I've been able to keep it out of me for years but it recently crept back in worse than before.
Johns Wart.

Psyche and therapy is a meme. You’re paying people to agree that your life sucks, don’t waste your money Anon.
>Cancer and chemotherapy is a meme. You’re paying people to agree that your body sucks, don’t waste your money Anon.
If you are ok with religion find a Christian therapist, and avoid women, israelites, and minorities. Never mention guns or self harm.
If you really are thinking of killing yourself, give your guns away to a person that will let you visit them, like a divorced white dad, on the weekends.
>find a Christian therapist
Scratch that idea. Just talk to a priest, it's free and they want to help you. In fact, if you're Catholic, you can do this in confession too, the priest is literally obligated on threat of expulsion from the clergy and/or excommunication if he ever divulges things you say during confession (I don't know how other denominations who practice confession handle this. Do others do this?). All he can do is urge you not to do something bad, and he can't administer forgiveness unless you're truly repentant for whatever you've sinned for.
As well, a priest could gauge if the issue isn't actually psychological but instead a demon.
If you say anything crazy, and they force you stay longer than 3 days in an inpatient, yes.
No.
If you are that worried, don't tell them you have guns.
Anyone use these holsters before? Worth the money?
idk, might clash with your purse.
What gun (and what chambering) should I get if all I want to use it for is to learn/practice reloading ammunition?
Did I hear correctly that in rifles chambered for .308 you can also use .300BLK in them as well? How would this affect the gun if you were to use this as your primary ammo for it?
Hahahaha absolutely not true
I figured. I dunno what else they would've been talking about tho unless it was COMPLETELY out their ass.
The bullets in the cartridges might be interchangeable, but the cartridges themselves have completely different proportions (x45 vs x51) and likely different pressures (which makes .308 go farther faster)
Would it be a good idea or bad idea to spray clp in a can of ammo. Especially if it's ammo for long term storage?
Just put desiccant packets in it
Those have to be replaced like every 3 months though.
dont open the thing every day then
Moisture will still get in
you're being an autistic homosexual.
I've had my ammo can stored with nothing but the boxes they've been in for a year and it shoots absolutely fine.
Bad for a few reasons.
>oil wicks into primers = deactivated/dud primers = no bang
>oil on ammo = higher pressure exerted on bolt if bang
>oil on bullets = potential damage to barrel due to trying to compress oil between the bullet and bore - maybe? (can't be sure on that one but I swear I remember hearing it, but no data IIRC)
So don't. If you're that autistic about your ammo, the problem is really oxygen and moisture collecting. When it's sealed, you don't get more oxygen than is already in there, nor moisture. Other than (very fast) large swings in temperature, not much will make the water condense. Don't open it if you don't need to. Buy some metal ammo cans even if just from Harbor Freight; air can pass through plastic but not metal. Real world test on point 2: https://youtu.be/7bhWxFbYdyw?t=758
Bad, Primers are dissolved by oil and rendered semi-inert (no bang but still sometimes burns).
>no /pcc/
Sad
Hey frens, wondering if you think the vector is good in 9mm or should I go for .45?
It’s such a cool gun I want one
Also, is maintenance a pain in the ass with a vector?
Doesn't the vector have an interchangeable receiver area for that? You could probably buy one for each caliber you want and swap them out as you please. But I'm also not familiar with the civie versions so I don't know if it's any different. Also don't know much about maintenance. Hope what little I can offer helps somehow.
Do the new series Beretta 92s take the older gen mags? I got some surplus M9 mags/ I wanna know if they'll work in a newer 92.
how to recreate 90s seal team loadout? idk what they are wearing outside the protac helms
can someone with an m1 magazine please post a pic of you gripping it? I wanna see how thick it is
I don't own one but I've handled a repro once.
Why are MAWLS so expensive? what do they do that other illuminators don't?
I just got a surplus M16A4 pistol grip at a gun show, and was wondering if you guys have any advice on attaching it to a Mossberg Security (the one with the traditional-shaped polymer stock) before I start drilling. Also you can't call me a moron for buying it since it was $3

who makes a good threaded 1911?
There were no tags, no markings. Did early PASGT vests have the string fasteners on the sides?
I was able to find this.
https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/m69-flack-vest-1969-dated-1848292094
If it's the same item it's probably an M69 vest that was made in a limited run with early woodland camoflage.
Having messed with both M69 and PASGT vests in the past I know that the M69 is much bulkier and heavier than the PASGT. Do you know how much yours weighs per chance? That would probably be the dead giveaway if it's kevlar or ballistic nylon.
It's basically an RIA with nicer features.
Only downside is that from the ones I've handles some of the machining isn't rounded off leaving somewhat sharp edges on things like the slide serrations.
Just how much can I customize/personalize a 2011?
why didnt they do rocketball like this? i get the bullet itself probably has awful ballistics, but if you did 9mm or something small for really small subguns and shit, why not?
the primary problem with rocket ball was it was underpowered and couldnt have much powder, so why not make more space?
rocket cylinder, not rocket ball
With modern gunpowder you don't even need to lengthen it. The old-school rocket ball load was 6-7 grains of black powder. The modern 9mm load is about 6 grains of smokeless. Just stick smokeless powder in it and it's viable.
That said, rocket ball arms have other disadvantages. For example, there's no ejector, extractor, or ejection port so clearing the gun without shooting it is rather difficult.
They (Swedes in this case) actually did exactly what you are proposing. The Italians did the same thing too, with 9mm AUPO and made a sub gun for it.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benelli_CB_M2
>Why didn't it take off?
Despite what wiki claims, it still had and needed an extractor and ejector for duds and malfunctions and clearing it, meaning it had all the same parts of a regular 9mm but worse.
It costs money to switch to new guns
It requires much tighter tolerances to get a gas seal as the casing no longer provides that around the chamber locks and firing pin hole(s)
Slightly improved ballistics (iirc <5% for same powder and bullet weight) are not enough in a world where everyone wants %200 improvement minimum aka the reason why others like the G11 or Steyer ACR wasn't adopted by everyone.
boop
Do women normally show platonic guy friends this kind of stuff?
dogshit pistol, worst grip ever, she will probable bend your dick in half durring foreplay due to her deformed hands if shes can actually hold that thing and think "yeah, ill buy this!" over literally anyother gun.
I mean I bought a RIA M206 so maybe it was meant to be. If this has a shit grip mine must be worse (and I don't even protest that, I'm a weirdo with a hitchhiker's thumb)
No, I'm being serious
>tfw no /k/ gf
Funny thing is I also started shooting handguns with a revolver and bought a Star (BM) as my first 9mm. The weirdest thing is that out of all the times I tried to shoot it, it didn't group great. But once I was changing targets, alone, so I went downrange and drew it and fired a mag just out of curiosity. Best damn group I've ever shot with that handgun to this day. So maybe try shooting it without putting TOO much thought into it and too much fussing with your grip? Idunno.
Is this a new pasta? I think I missed the memo.
Anybody know where I could get a scope mount for an old Marlin 81?
Factory drilled? Check if Weaver makes a base/two piece base set for the Marlin 81. If not, check if any of them have the same screw spacing; the 10/22 TO9 isn't even 10/22 specific and has two extra holes at the bare minimum. Ditto many other Weaver bases.
Can I get an honest opinion of the Citadel 1911? I’m on a budget and I want a 1911 simply to have one. If it makes any difference I’m also a CA resident and this particular pistol has came up in my research for complaint 1911s. The few things I have seen suggest it is an ok enough entry level (price wise) 1911
i have one. it runs everything i put through it. they like to be lubed up. idk man if you just want a 1911 its a fine gun.
Good enough for me, that’s all I wanted. Cheers
Anyone have the screencap of that story where anon and his buddies rob a cartel speedboat on the open seas? Been lookin for ages.
Is it a sign of the lockup getting weaker if the slide automatically releases just by me putting a new mag in without me pressing the slide release?
not at all. if the slide autoforwards or not depends on your reload technique. the more you rush it or jolt the gun the more likely it is to close on its own.
Can I use lucas oil extreme gun grease for my AR-15 barrel nut? I just want to finish my M16A1 build.

Anons this pain train is seemingly unending I just want to own a small enough arsenal to rival the Mexican Army's and I fear whilst the rest of the world has forgotten about COVID, Canada and the United States seems to be hell bent on making people COVID schizos
Just fly to Mexico and sneak across the border. Everyone else in the world is.
(Checked)
Call me a sucker but as someone who unironically wants to be a citizen, I want a squeaky clean record, if I wanted to fly to Europe alone, I'd have lied about my Vaxx Status and Gaslit the NHS ages ago, just I don't want to risk it Anon.
If the border is still closed to the unvaxxed after 2024 I'll wear a sombrero and wear some fake tan.
Captcha: W2 OMG
Wrangler atg pants if small pockets work. Nylon and spandex are great for summer. Florida anon reporting
does anybody have sauce on that short film of a russian soldier talking to his mother while images of dead soldiers flashes on the screen
The mods need to step up their game in swatting/misc/ tards. They've been shitting up this board like crazy.
This. The stormgays are really lashing out now that it looks like Russia is facing total defeat.
Hey so I have a Walther PPQ Q4 you know this because I already posted in this thread. Anyways I just field stripped it for cleaning and this piece just fell out of it and I don't know where it goes. Anyone have any ideas?
nothing about it in the manual?
Don't worry about it, it was the cap to my cleaning solution. I'm just stupid.
you know i'm a lenient judge, but unfortunately these offenses carry minimum sentences...
Why is the Val shit? I saw a few anons here say that it wasn't as cool as most people thought it was, but why?
Is there a 2022 equivalent to how the SKS used to be? Basically a cheap starter rifle-caliber rifle I could buy on a college budget. Is the closest a $500-$600 AR?
probably.
what's a good cheap mag-fed 22 rifle for plinking? is there significant performance difference between say a savage mark ii, savage 64 series, and rossi rs22? how about mag availability/compatibility? anybody i'm sleeping on?
I have a savage 64f, only issue is that you need to be sort of precise on how far you put the mag in or else it won’t feed correctly. The other’s I don’t know. Also, Savage’s have a lot less aftermarket parts and the only magazine available retail is a 10 rounder. Savage started making a 20 rounder for their new tactical 64 model recently, but it isn’t available for sale seperate from the rifle yet
Marlin used to be that with the 60 or 795. It was like 50 bucks more than the cheapest 22s like what you listed but twice the gun in terms of quality. Unfortunatly ruger owns marlin now and that whole line which was the main competitor to the 10/22 is dead.
alternatively, are there any tricks to making bolt action more fun?
What’re some good budget 12 gauge rounds that aren’t birdshot? I want something that can actually down something at a distance but won’t feel like I’m draining all my cash for practicing with them
What's the best all around clp?
