Hey /k/commandos, I need your help: I bought my first brand new wheeler and noticed it has some scuffs and damage, is it normal? There are also lead marks on the cylinder, do they appear immediately after shooting only 3-4 bullets at the test bench? I send you few pics.
Am I exaggerating in wanting to return this? I spent important money in this.
More coming...
Definitely used.
How much did you pay for it?
1250 euros
Jesus.
What’s the model and year?
Is it this?
almost, it's the 686+ 3" 357edition,
Well anon, not only did you overspend by 300€, you also bought a used gun, which means you *actually* overspent by like 4-500€
Well, it depends where you are from, I can guarantee you that the price for this new gun is on point here in Italy. Anyway, I will return it and get all my money back, no biggie. Thanks
Anon, if you’re in Italy, do you think you can help me find some Mateba firearms?
Email me if you are interested in making some money and you can find some Matebas
>[email protected]
Sure, no problem. No money needed, I will email you in the next days
I appreciate it anon
If I would be a scammy seller that sells used as new, I would refuse to accept the return on the grounds of the marks you have left on the gun.
Anon, show us some pictures of the cylinder so we can see if it has drag marks
It has them...just barely
Depending on which country in euroland, I believe some require proofing every chamber. In the US we usually only proof a couple to also test function. Carbon rings like that start at the first shot, it will eventually all turn black and even. It's an easy way to see if an old python is unfired like the boomer swears to, only two or three chambers should have rings if it's only proofs. That buildup seems slightly excessive, but I'd still say normal. Maybe just an extra spicy load if they're testing every chamber.
Under closer inspection, only four chambers have rings. At worst, if it is actually used, they didn't make it through a whole cylinder. Quit being autistic you shithead
Last one, you can also see some damage on the red insert
Are you fricking moronic OP? Hell yeah that's fricking used. Do you need PrepHole to also tell you when your wife orgasms?
It is obviously used because he was just shooting it
I was obviously not...and I was just asking for confirmation as I was a "no guns" until 24hrs ago...it's just sad, anyway I will return it. Thank you guys
It looks like someone shot 4 shots through it
Do you gays really not understand that they put a few rounds through guns at the factory to ensure they dont, yknow, blow the frick up?
Does this also include banging the fun around? Jokes aside do just few bullets lead to this results?
Metal on metal contact is neat. Blued finishes aren't that strong.
Op. All guns are used. They have to test fire them before sale.
Who gives a frick. It still goes bang doesn't it? Lots of new guns have minor scuffs from sitting at the gun store and vpeople finger fricking them every day.
It is from test firing, Anon
Figa si vede lontano un miglio che è usata.e ho pagato 950 per la mia 686.
