When you buy a Glock it comes in a carrying case with GLOCK on the front

If he has enough money to hire guards, he should have some spares to buy his own gun

Why would you do a personal security detail and keep your firearm in cheap box that came with your purchase from the gun store.

      Maybe it's a legal issue?

      He's not from NY

Maybe his security couldn't get a CCW in time

A way to skirt carrying ccw is to carry it in a gun case?

It's not carrying concealed officer, I'm just transporting it.

thats actually how it works in europe, so its very probable you're onto something. i cant "carry" a gun i.e. have it loaded with one in the chamber on me, but i can "transport" it by having it in a container and not "ready to fire" (i.e. no bullet chambered).
my guess is the guard has an empty holster on him and as soon as they enter private grounds he opens the case, chambers the gun and holsters it. when they leave private grounds, he clears the gun, puts it in a case and carries it.
or he's just full of shit and actually has the gun on him illegally but carries the box so the coppers dont freak out.

    >The Late Show

Why would terrorists would attack Stephen Colbert show? He is the most beloved talk show in America! John Oliver or Conan O'Brien couldn't even match with his show.

I know this is ironic, but why would anybody attack it? It doesn't really provide much significance.

Presumably to kill at least one insufferable celebrity.

Bulgarians wanted to film American Action Movies(tm). No M-16? No problem. Call Cousin Misha in Poland, get him to ship in torch-cut Bushmasters, chop the kits and weld them onto an AK chassis with a chopped magazine. Now you have M-16 profile instead of having to use Thompson for all action movie Americans like before 2001.

Pretty sure it was originally an StG-44. Those were abundant in Eastern European warehouses. Kept for reserve troops or in case of emergency, many sent to Arab states.

Interestingly enough, StG-44s found use in TV and films on both sides of the Iron Curtain portraying the opposite side's main assault rifle. Mosfilm had its own customized StGs standing in for M16s, while several 1970s Brit spy TV shows used StG-44s as AK stand-ins.

                Kinda funny actually.

Eh, he's lost his edge after going for one too many low-hanging fruit to the point the best thing you can say about him is that he's inoffensive.
He missed gold by not using his character to mock the Two-Scoops fiasco reaction

At some White House function or other, Trump got two scoops of ice cream while everyone else got one. For some reason, this caused certain people to freak the frick out, as it was proof that he was a greedy Russian stooge or something. It was really fricking stupid.

What's the big deal about him saying he killed 25 talis?

    Wasn't he an apache pilot.

1 hellfire or hydra 70mm could have done it.

CPG not pilot, and I think the furore over its is due to his comments that 'it was like knocking over chess pieces', upsetting the 'give peace a chance'/'the taliban are people too' crowd
