Obviously it's inferior to a rifle designed a decade later. Hell, I even like the Grot's design, as a rifle I think it builds on the successes of the ACR as a concept. If it came to the US in an un-neutered form (unlike the Hellion and Carmel) I'd get one instantly because weird piston guns are a large part of my collection.
But it's not the second coming of Christ or a completely original design and the moron/s shilling it aren't contributing anything meaningful to a conversation about it.

FB Radom is a shitty company that does not care about civilian gun ownership, and managed to frick up everyting they designed in this century, even things as simple as striker fired pistol. First two versions of grot were rusty frickups. A3 model is allegedly fixed now, but you can bet life saving that when bullpup version comes out, it will be borderline unusable

That said, as a design it is a contender, and that's not actually that hard. The biggest civilian market and some of the biggest western armies are hitched to an inferior design that shall not be named, so just applying current best practices gets you pretty far. The czech/polish/german ACR clones probably qualify, MCX and its derivatives as well.
The bullpup conversion may be a nice feature or a useless gimmick, that may or may not increase costs and/or have other, probably minor drawbacks. But at least they're saving themselves the work to design a bullpup on top.
