Blackmail? No, just more of Molotov–Ribbentrop Electric Boogaloo:
      >Scholz joined the SPD in 1975 as a student, where he got involved with the Jusos, the youth organization of the SPD. From 1982 to 1988, he was Deputy Federal Juso Chairman, and from 1987 to 1989 also Vice President of the International Union of Socialist Youth. He supported the Freudenberger Kreis, the Marxist wing of the Juso university groups, promoting "overcoming the capitalist economy" in articles.[9] In it, Scholz criticized the "aggressive-imperialist NATO", the Federal Republic as the "European stronghold of big business" and the social-liberal coalition, which puts the "bare maintenance of power above any form of substantive dispute"

      >Merkel worked and studied at the Central Institute for Physical Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences in Berlin-Adlershof from 1978 to 1990. At first she and her husband squatted in Mitte.[43] At the Academy of Sciences, she became a member of its FDJ secretariat. According to her former colleagues, she openly propagated Marxism as the secretary for "Agitation and Propaganda".[44]

      >In 2005, Russian President Vladimir Putin's friend Schroeder hastily signed the deal just as he was departing the office from which he had been voted out days earlier. Within weeks, he started to oversee the project implementation himself, leading the Nord Stream AG's shareholder committee.[104]

The fun part about it is that if poles and others say "fuck it, we send leos" in the end they will get rid of leos forever, means that no maintenance, no spare parts and no new tanks will ever be bought from germany again.
Which means germany loses its tank industry forever because after this I doubt any country would be willing to pay for this overengineered piece due to possible regulations proving as unhealthy.
There are better alternatives right now and they are more than happy to replace german tanks. Scholz is basically doing germany a favor by deindustrializing it. Why buy german tank if you can buy korean one without all the bullshit and negative stimgata?

This whole war is weird from the get go.
I still can't fathom the purpose of the Chernobyl trenches in the early days. Like, were the commanders of a nuclear superpower unaware how radiation works? How is that even theoretically possible? The only answer I arrive at is that they were using their own soldiers as guinea pigs.

Personally I think even the most under-equipped NBC bat has access to a geiger counter, and I think even the best educated russian soldier is unable to not steal anything that isn't bolted to the floor

i think the best, current English information is what the US Secretary of Defense said after Ramstein:
        >Q: Mr. Secretary of Defense, my question is, many of us thought that today we will have a breakthrough in the discussion about heavy battle tanks. You didn't mention that at all. We didn't talk about Leopard 2 or Abrams tanks. So did you talk about that today?
        >
        >SEC. AUSTIN: I think you heard the -- you may have heard the German minister of defense say earlier that they've not made a decision on the provision of Leopard tanks. What we're really focused on is making sure that Ukraine has the capability that it needs to be successful right now. So we have a window of opportunity here, you know, between now and the spring when I -- you know, when -- whenever they commence their operation, their counteroffensive, and that's not a long time, and we have to pull together the right capabilities. And you heard the chairman walk through some of the substantial combat power that we and some of our allies have offered to provide.
        >
        >There are tanks in that -- in that -- those offerings. Poland, for example, is -- continues to offer tanks and will provide tanks, and other countries will offer some tank -- tank capability, as well. I don't have any announcements to make on M1s, and you heard the -- the German minister of defense say that they've not made a decision on Leopards, so --

The Americans could easily send Abrams now but they are busy gaslighting the media about the lie of their tanks that run on multifuel engines requiring jet fuel. At least Germany always had a stipulation over how their equipment is to be exported long before this conflict started, whereas the US are talking out of their arses and a few Brit tanks won't achieve anything (the British are also at fault for allowing their tank reverses to number only in the few hundreds and use some meme top secret ceramic armour which means their Challenges are too precious to use in actual war, kek).

The Germans are still shocking in not providing Leopards even now as a potential Spring offensive looks increasingly doomed.

German MoD only said they don't know about such a condition.
Even if such a condition existed, it's not in the purview of the MoD to decide about arms exports and they wouldn't need to know. Also the MoD minister started the job two days ago and won't be briefed on everything.

Bla, bla, bla. Nobody cares about some eastern European shithole u call hoholistan. Krats expect Russia to win and it's not even a secret anymore since from time to time that same critic about Krauts favoritism is being sent by from those inbreed subhumans of that degenerate and isolated island that is not Europe. Even Francistan bets on Russia secretly which makes those anglo subhumans seethe even more every single day. So do not act confused when Germany says how they will send x only and only if USA sends y which they know it won't happen any time soon even if it somehow magically planned like those dutch f16 and other shill bullshit.

Here's what the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said a few hours ago
      >President Biden, President Zelenskyy and most of the leaders of Europe have said that this war is likely to end in a negotiation. And from a military standpoint, this is a very, very difficult fight. This fight stretches all the way from right now, as the front line goes from all the way from Kharkiv down to Kherson, and there's significant fighting ongoing. And it's more or less a static front line right this minute, with the exception of Bakhmut and Soledar, with a significant offensive action going on really from both sides. The distance that -- for the United States, that's about from, I guess, Washington, D.C. to Atlanta. So that is a significant amount of territory, and in that territory are still remaining a lot of Russian forces in Russian-occupied Ukraine.
      >
      >So from a military standpoint, I still maintain that for this year it would be very, very difficult to militarily eject the Russian forces from all -- every inch of Ukraine and occupied -- or Russian-occupied Ukraine.

        >a retard who managed to lose to sandmorons and causes recruitment numbers to drop every time he opens his fucking mouth has a retarded take on the war

Well colored me surprised. The Ukrainians aren't going to fucking negotiate until they take back every last inch of territory and the Russians hand back every last man, woman, and child they've kidnapped. Anything less is a non-starter.

The Russians cannot be allowed to walk away with anything even superficially resembling a victory because if they are, they WILL do it again and next time they might just decide to open up with nuclear weapons in the first salvo to compensate for their crippled conventional forces.

Have you guys ever thought that, maybe, no one wants to send good NATO tanks is because…Ukraine has NOT demonstrated a basic armored cavalry capability. Western tanks are designed to fit into an integrated combined arms role. The way tanks are being used in this war are individual or perhaps a pair of tanks poking around the edges enemy positions looking for targets while trying to stay out of ATGM envelopes. They’re not being terribly effective, and I’m sure NATO command and the Pentagon are informing leadership that tanks are not going to be immediately effective. But they can’t just say "Ukraine is too incapable of using our tanks" and contradict the strong propaganda program.

The leopard 2 is shit and after its horrible perfomance with the turks and saudis, germans are reluctant to give it to another nation to get mogged by 40y old atgms. Hence why they want abrams to be send in as well, so even if one single m1 gets damaged, germans can instantly go muh abrams to find excuses for their overhyped piece of trash (which applies to all of "german engineering" especially cars) perfoming bad.

You mean the Polish tanks which need to be overhauled in Germany which wouldn't be ready until the end of the year?
This is just a play to force Germany to force tanks alone and taking the financial impact.

That was a statement of Rheinmetall which has been walked back since.
Partly because Rheinmetall isn't in charge of Leopard construction that's KMW, partly because it was wrong.

          >which need an overhaul in Germany
No. They need parts that Germany produces, but there is zero need to physically send the tanks to germany.
For example after that year statement, there was an estimate from Finnish Leo refitter that estimated it could do the refit in three months easily.

I always wonder what the fuck is up with those cunts that give publicly bullshit estimates that they have neither expertise or information access on.
Some part of it is probably media doing stupid interviews that get overblown, but still you need to be a special kind of cunt for that.
