That thing will change nothing. Ukraine is going to loose in Soledar and Bakhmut, and after that, Slavyansk and Kramatorsk will be a matter of a few weeks for RuAF to capture.
Great example of how vatBlack person bots derail threads. Look at the first two posts (as of the time of writing only posts in this thread)

>Ukraine is going to loose in Soledar and Bakhmut,
This time for sure.
How many weeks, do you think? More than one, less than three?
. They do it on purpose and every time you homosexuals fall for it.
Now every post is going to talk about this cope instead of talking about how Strykers will fare in Ukraine. Good job, everytime you respond to this homosexual sitting in his bot farm in Petersburg he gets 10 rubles to his bank account.
>Soledar and Bakhmut, and after that, Slavyansk and Kramatorsk
Yes but they're going to fight them all the way back to the river like at every tree line it's going to take forever.
>200 days of daily "Bakhmut captured" threads >Now it's 200 more days of "Soledar captured" threads
And then when Ukraine pushes front 100km in few months it's going to be some another village in the middle of nowhere that's suddenly the most important battle of the war.
Are you aware the fact, that bakhmut and soledar are pretty far from the possibility to throw UAF into collapse.
Its not a disorganised shitshow like the russopigs
Bakhmut will soon be resisting more than Stalingrad
Except Stalingrad was the third biggest city in the Soviet Union, Bakhmut is a small provincial town
No. The Ukraine is losing hard both in Donbass and in the south near Zaporozhye, their offensive in Lugansk also stalled. That's why Nato now is in panic mode since they thought that Russia will stop, but it ain't stopping.
Everything is fine, could be better. As for the "a lot of stuff" being sent its leftover garbage, mostly from the cold war. We are saving money by sending them over instead of maintaining a gorillion armored vehicles. You dont mind that, right?
If you have kept an eye on what is being send recently, it is all heavily offense equipment.
Probably preparations for the spring offensive to push ruskies off from the eastern ukraine. I'd keep an eye if someone starts thinking about sending naval or heavier aerial assets, as that would mean that the plan is to push ruskies from Crimea too.
>If you have kept an eye on what is being send recently, it is all heavily offense equipment.
50 Bradleys and 20 Marders aren't enough to launch an offensive. Most likely they won't even be used at the frontlines, but will be sold on the black market by the Ukrainians with profit shared between Zelensky and his partners from Dem party, like it has been with at least for HIMARSes and many other types of equipment.
>Seems like we are sending a LOT of stuff right now. Is everything OK?
Most of what we've been sending them is great for creating the type of stalemate we've seen, leading to a war of attrition. ATGM's to stop the mechanized advances, SAM's to keep their air force at bay, HIMAR's to destroy their logistics and artillery to stop their infantry. With NATO's PGM's and intel sharing we've seen the material side of their military which was their greatest strength vastly weakened, tanks, IFV's, artillery and such has been greatly reduced in numbers.
Now the new strategy seems to be that aid is switching over to offensive gear to take territory back. They are gearing the Ukrainians up become a large highly mobile force that can break through and potentially cut off large portions of the Russian army. It should be an interesting Spring.
Ukraine is in full defense mode. There are basically no movements from their side and their armored brigades they usually use for offensives are spread out out of artillery range all along the front to act as firefighters in case of dangerous breakthroughs.
Basically they're waiting out the winter and planning a major offensive in spring while the west gives them more gibs for it. Its most likely a coordinated action.
Armor is roughly the same
I’d argue the gun is better than the weapons on the bmp 1 and 2. Compared to the BMP-3, however, it could go either way.
It has wheels instead of tracks which could be either good or bad
BMPs are hot garbage, always have been and always will be. Ukrainian troops literally say the fricking M113 is better, and it's not even an IFV. They're such deathtraps that troops take their chances riding on the roof rather than be inside them.
As a general rule, ALL American equipment is better than ALL equivalent Russian equipment. For literally any piece of Russia equipment, there's a better American version.
Is it any worse than a BTR?
Wheeled transports give rapid road mobility that tracked vehicles lack.
And lighter wheeled vehicles get very easily shredded by artillery.
Would be sweet if they send dragoons but in reality it’s going to be the slick APC variant with a .50 to shuttle troops around, or it will be the US getting rid of the MGS
Wheeled support gun. They dom' use em anymore, someone decided that 30mm autocannons and more missiles was better. Also the 105 beat up the suspensions too quickly.
Oof. Those things totally suck off-road. They sink into the ground all the time and blow it's troony all the time because you put the petal to the metal too fast trying to drive uphill.
They're only good for what they're built for, quelling urban uprisings from a populace finally fed up with it's governments BS.
For the purposes of a rapid breakthrough Stryker would be better than Bradley, with much lighter logistics, more speed, more range, carrying similar enough of troops. Also there are multiple versions, medivac, 105mm gun, recon, command, etc, etc, all sharing most of the same logistics and support. Plus there's also Canada and a few others than would contribute.
I can't imagine they're going to immediately start with whole SBCTs. Gonna be a slow trickle like everything else, probably just ICVs, maybe MGS if we're really lucky and the beancounters give it the go ahead.
There was a guy who died of a viral respiratory illness after clearing a trench full of Russian conscripts a month ago. America is voting on the Lend Lease act. Russians are accusing the United Kingdom of attacking Crimea. Soldiers are using maxim guns and bolt action rifles.

Footage of Ukrainian offensive into Donbass with M1, Leclercs, Leopards, Challengers, and T-90s all in the same shot, riding off into the rising sun, confirmed for the future.
Maybe, if the stars align, their breakthrough will be aided by JDAMs coming from a sortie of mixed MiG-29s, Su-27s, Mirages, Typhoons, F-16s, and F-15s.

We already know how well strykers will fare in Ukraine
They are literally just Bradleys with wheels so they will fare about as well as the Bradleys do
Why do you think they'll have an easier time with Slavyansk and Kramatorsk than with Soledar and Bakhmut? Took them half a year to capture those
>Soledar and Bakhmut, and after that, Slavyansk and Kramatorsk
Yes but they're going to fight them all the way back to the river like at every tree line it's going to take forever.

Yes but how many exactly. Somewhere between one and three?
Bakhmut will soon be resisting more than Stalingrad

No. The Ukraine is losing hard both in Donbass and in the south near Zaporozhye, their offensive in Lugansk also stalled. That's why Nato now is in panic mode since they thought that Russia will stop, but it ain't stopping.
Cool, since you are winning and this stuff will not make a difference, maybe stop crying about it and threatening to nooooooooook everyone.

There is talks to send 400 Leopard 2s to Ukraine.
I am Joe Blogski of Nebraska Oblast and this post has demoralised me.
Proof. Since there is none, i'll just call you a homosexual.
This, just last week my cousin in Rome was mugged by a gypsy with a Bradley
>Seems like we are sending a LOT of stuff right now. Is everything OK?

The Bakhmut thing turned into an artillery meatgrinder so it's obvious that any counteroffensive is going to need armor. Too much fricking artillery.
Stryker isn't a bad choice, I heard a bunch of Bradleys are getting sent over.
Its most likely a coordinated action.
just looking at the force composition for Bakhmut I was expecting an impending counteract
Into a russian force six times its size? I doubt it.
they're about to take kreminna and svatove
They're literally just performing a holding action on Bakhmut with the minimum required units to hold it while they're attacking Svatove and Kremina.
Are Strykers any good? Can they at least compete with BMPs?
It's a roof above your head.
Looks pretty comfy tbh
Oh man imagine sitting in there and suddenly little pieces of metal start flying around
Armor is roughly the same
I’d argue the gun is better than the weapons on the bmp 1 and 2. Compared to the BMP-3, however, it could go either way.

>Armor is roughly the same
But BMP doesn't have armor. I watched some Ukrainian military blogs where they complain that even M113 armor is better.
It's a BTR equivalent, it isn't meant to fight BMPs and will get rekt if it tries.
It's a touch more than that. All depends what they send.
A fart in the wind could vaporize everyone inside a BMP. It'll do fine.
>BMPs

the MGS variant is supposed to be getting retired anyway, mine as well just give them to Ukraine tbh
This, the real question is why they are doing it now. Logistics? Maintance? Quantity still needed?
They should give it yesterday along with Attack-'Ems and F16s.
>they can be mounted with a 105mm main gun
Sounds pretty gucci, does anyone know about how maintenance intensive they are?
Maintenance on any such beast is easy if parts can be had which is obviously not a big deal.
t.fighter fixer and mechanic on an absurd variety of stuff
JUST
SEND
THE
FRICKING
TANKS
>Powerful armoured vehicles like Strykers
Hey I used that in CoD MW2 campaign
That seems stupid wasn't this thing meant to fight farmers anyway?
Not really. It turned out well that way but the original idea was carving up dictatorships a la desert storm.
The Stryker is a bad idea for Ukraine. They constantly get stuck in the mud and can't self recover.
Is it any worse than a BTR?
Wheeled transports give rapid road mobility that tracked vehicles lack.
And lighter wheeled vehicles get very easily shredded by artillery.
>Is it any worse than a BTR?
I would imagine so since the tires are smaller and the vehicle is much heavier.
Anything wheeled is a bad idea really.
Good. Get rid of more old equipment.
Would be sweet if they send dragoons but in reality it’s going to be the slick APC variant with a .50 to shuttle troops around, or it will be the US getting rid of the MGS
Can't wait for thunder run videos starring the biggest duck and turkey gun.
What's that stuff on top of the balls?
W A D
What the frick is that thing? A tank destroyer? Does the U.S. use them? I’ve never heard of them before.
It's essentially an American take on the BMP.
You mean the BTR buddy?
Yes, thank you. Sorry tired.
Wheeled support gun. They dom' use em anymore, someone decided that 30mm autocannons and more missiles was better. Also the 105 beat up the suspensions too quickly.

Even Activision knew it
Patria or Rosomak would be way better.
Someone should nut up and send some.
then maybe they should send some
That is probably the most top heavy variant they made.
AAAAH HELP ME RECOVERY VEHICLE MAN
I never saw one with a working winch.

Should have been sent 8 months ago
>meanwhile in soldar
Call me when they actually capture and hold it.
>Balakliia, 35 km2
>Izyum, 43.6 km2
>Lyman, 20 km2
>Kherson city, 135.7 km2
Meaningless twitter victories, we didn't want those cities, anyway.
>Soledar, 12.31 km2
Greatest Russian victory since berlin.
>the biggest victories in this war are being measured in average increments of around 50km
this really is just a massive infantry slog at this point
There was a guy who died of a viral respiratory illness after clearing a trench full of Russian conscripts a month ago. America is voting on the Lend Lease act. Russians are accusing the United Kingdom of attacking Crimea. Soldiers are using maxim guns and bolt action rifles.
The more war changes the more it stays the same.

You'd love to see it.
>the year is 2025
