The designers did a good job dressing up a straight blowback 9mm to look modern and futuristic I guess. There's better options.

It's like a pistol, but you can't holster it, it fits nowhere, you can't use it with one hand, and it's expensive.

But the increase in mag capacity and barrel length make up for it somewhat, yeah? The main draw for me is that it can hold a ton of shots, it's 9mm so I can have one kind of ammo for this and my pistol, and I'd add a stock and some iron sights if I got one

To me, the appeal is that it just holds more shots and is more accurate than a pistol, while still retaining a good deal of concealability by comparison to a rifle or a shotgun. This is something I could keep by my bed or in a car holster like picrel, but maybe on my driver's side door or on the outside of my car console.

        >mag capacity
        >literally uses standard Ruger or Glock pistol mags

You know what? That's fair. I planned on getting a bigger mag for it if I got one, and completely forgot you can just use the regular ones

        >But the increase in mag capacity and barrel length make up for it somewhat, yeah?
It uses regular pistol magazines (Security-9 mags by default iirc) so it's got the exact same capacity as any polymer 9mm

as for barrel length, who cares? the only thing that gets you is a little more muzzle energy; if that's an issue, just use a more powerful cartridge instead.

I shot one belonging to some old boomer at the range, it feels awesome to shoot, I just don't know what it's supposed to be used for. It's too big to carry, it's not as accurate or stable as a full rifle and it looks kind of goofy in real life. I guess maybe home defense for people that don't go to the range often, since it's somewhat easier to aim and hold on to?

        >it feels awesome to shoot, I just don't know what it's supposed to be used for.
you put a brace on it and use it as a 9mm carbine.

Actually considering cmmg rdb upper build right now and it frankly also seems like a janky solution with that bolt.

It's probably ok, and I'm a Ruger fanboy, but I think it looks sinfully ugly.

You're supposed to put a stock/brace on it, I don't think there's much expectation that you're gonna use it as is.

If you want a 9mm that holds a lot of bullet there's cooler options.
Here's a MechTech carbine upper for a Glock 17 pistol, it has a folding brace put on it so you can aim it from the shoulder proper. Can also be had in .45 Auto and .45 Super using a Glock 21 frame, and in 10mm with a Glock 20 frame.

Polymer 80 frames can also work, if you're inclined to go about that.

This is an absolutely fantastic way to get fucking shot in the face by a cop who stopped you for a broken tail light or some shit.

          >"Hello Sir did you realize your left tail light is ou- GUN GUN GUN GUN HES REACHING *BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM* Whew, another criminal down. That's great police work boys."

That's why you keep your hands on the steering wheel and put your license and registration on the dash by the time he walks up. Also cops don't need a reason to shoot.

      here's one with a 9" barrel.
the Charger has a 6.5" barrel. it would probably look like shit.

    Strayan.
Yeah, even here we get the meme toy.
My mate let me try out his.
Here they're legally a pistol but we don't have ATF SBR rules so its legal to put a full M4 stock onto it (as long as we don't go over 30inches overall then its a semi-auto rifle and we can't have those - which makes no sense, but that's gunlaws everywhere.)
My pistol club shoots them for a "Modified 3-gun" as a pistol-carbine instead of ARs for the 9mm safety-trace.
They're pretty useless as an actual rifle but a lot of fun as a range-toy.
Similarly okay for internal home defence as you're less likely to fumble and drop it half-asleep at 2am than a trad pistol.
I'm getting one next after my .45 arrives.

Can we combine this into a PCC thread? I've been looking at the Strobog for some time now. I heard that it's got some issues with the ejection system and that you definitely don't want the older mags for it. Anyone have any actual experience with it? Seems like another potential budget PCC.

I’ve seen a few of these at competition in the pcc division. I noticed they seem to jam a lot. Make of that what you will idk if the people are using reloads

I have a PC Carbine. I'd not pay full retail for it but for the $540 I paid I'm happy with it. They're reliable, take Glock mags, and have a large aftermarket because they're just fat 10-22s. The Charger is just a "pistol" version

I really wish they made this in 357 or 44 but I guess no one will ever try and make a functioning magazine

Without a stock is pretty goofy. It also doesn't have ironsights.
It's basically a PC9 Chasis but shorter and without a stock.

It would make sense with a stock, a suppressor and an optic.

If you are not going to use a can, then its bigger brothers are much better

It has a pic rail on the back, inviting for SBR conversion and a folding stock. Integral suppressed barrel would be a better idea, do they already have one like for 10/22?

        >It has a pic rail on the back, inviting for SBR conversion and a folding stock.
I know, but you still have to buy either a stock or an arm brace separately.

        >Integral suppressed barrel would be a better idea, do they already have one like for 10/22?

Dark Horse makes integrally suppressed barrels for the PC9 series.
