Why do non-US Black folk love Russia so much?

They don’t they just hate the US honestly. Reminder that most of the world would love to see another 911 and many openly enjoyed watching innocent people die just because they’re Americans who love democratic liberal society. Most of the world is full of sick non-humans.

Russia is seen as an extension of the USSR and thus a counterbalance against Western imperialism in the eyes of browns worldwide. America's intervention into countries ranging from decades ago to recently is seen as nothing more than an extension of imperialistic practices, and so Russia can't possibly be worse since they're not actively invading (their) countries or sponsoring coups in (their) countries.

To be fair there's a few countries which would be understandably justified in their anti-American views, but there's others which are fricking moronic. I think 2 generations is a long enough time for countries to suck it up and mend past wrongs, but there's some which are pretty fricking stupid. South American countries are rampant with "reeee AmeriKKKa" regarding intervention which largely stopped by the 90's, but they often still cite coups backed by the CIA going back to the 60's (Brazil especially). Iraqis, Libyans, Afghanis, Cubans, and a few others would be pretty understandably justified in their hate of America. That said if Vietnam can mend relations after killing millions of their people and giving even more cancer after this relatively short period of time, I think anybody can and should.

Cuba, and Vietnam, were the faults of Russians and chicoms respectively, if anything the vietnamese would be mad we pulled out early. AS for the Middle east, they were celebrating the false flag attack on America, didn't give two shits about the global ramifications just had to stick it to America and complained when we came in in full force and turned most of their country into a warzone. These countries don't really have much to complain about when they invited these things in.
Brazil I dunno, we hate the CIA as much as they do, but that being said it's been decades and they still cannot function on the world stage, but blame us? Pretty weak.

They hate the US and know absolutely nothing about Russia.

Check the international polls, most people worldwide including countries who at one time were at war with US see them in a positive way, granted, most countries will always have a 20-40 percent group of people who is antiamerican for a wide array of reasons, being ultranationalists, left-wing, holding grudges due past wars, I actually find sad when you americans need to feel like the entire world is conspiring against you, in economic terms most countries dealing with China or Russia doesn't automatically mean they are against you, instead it's a diversificarion of your commercial partners so you will still have plenty of options if one day one of them decides it no longer needs you.

By the way, I would also like to point out in terms of the human species existence 100 or 200 years isn't really much of a time, most non european nations are still in a process of development, pretending USA and Europe didn't suffer back in the day the same setbacks thirdies have been having is intellectually dishonest.

Hot take, ukie and pole shills will start seething in 5, 4..
I doubt a _single_ russian attack since the start of the war was intercepted more than 40-50%. Not because of any missile or AA specs, but simply on how the sides keep using them. Ukrainian missiles were shot down by layered AA many times, so their attacks over time became more and more focused to overwhelm the defense, hitting only one target at a time for months now. Russian attacks remain dispersed. Both sides have satellite data for objective control within 24h.
      >but where are photos and videos like we saw early in the war

If I'd had to guess, I'd say that they wanted to spread out their payload over multiple aircraft to mitigate the risk of one of their (effectively irreplaceable) strategic bombers getting murked. Then again, from what I heard the vats launched over the Caspian sea so I don't fricking know. Furthermore, maintaining and refuelling a bunch of strategic bombers isn't cheap. The Russians probably spent several missiles worth of Roubles essentially just to top up their pilot's flying hours.

        Anonymous

Maybe they wanted to mitigate the risk of the plane crashing due to bad engine maintenance

          Anonymous

The Tu-95M is both a 4 engine design and a design that dates back to a time when the Soviet Union produced functional equipment. Catastrophic engine failure during flight is highly unlikely.

That implies it’s been well maintained in the last 40 years

            Anonymous

As a aircraft gets older small material stresses build up on it. The airframe develops micro fractures, the electronics corrode, the engines deteriorate, pumps lose power, seals loosen and so on. This means that you must spend more and more money to repair or replace damaged parts every year in a almost exponential trajectory.

The first couple of years maintenance I've comparatively very low, but then as small stress builds up eventually it costs as much as you paid to make the plane every year in maintenance. Now you might think "why not just buy a new plane of the same model but I'm sorry that's not possible, you haven't bought any of thecplane for 50 years and factory went bankrupt. Also you should probably have gotten a new plane some time ago.

And even then the plane might struggle to reach the same performance it once did.

Probably didn't have enough munitions for all of them but wanted new pilots to get some experience in a "real" mission. Their stock of trained pilots is really low.

I've just checked through the multiple threads and looked at the official story coming from the media and it seems that the Russians hit a chemical factory, in what seems as a complete accident, as the other missiles smacked into civilian apartment blocks like normal.
There were Patriots deployed in this area, with all the reported success coming from the missile defence system around Kyiv.

for the amount of planes flying and the random dispersion of missiles east and west it doesnt seem like a proper attack (besides the one on the railway station)

at the same time their othr was blasting all over europe till down to egypt(confirmed for ham users) they dont usually turn their radar into dew mode to blast HF that far which means it was operating under full power
they probably launched few missiles to draw out the A/A positions and used the overcast as a reflector to get an accurate reading

The Pavlohrad hit was 6 hours before this wave of missiles, and was a chemical facility that had a bunch of ICBM booster engines stored for dismantling. Russia's goal was likely a ghetto chemical weapons attack by spreading hydrazine, like when they hit the nitric acid plants outside of Kharkiv about 8 months ago.

Because it was well designed. I honestly hate our Euro cities. Sure they're very attractive sometimes, but they're a nightmare to live in and travel around. A city should be a place where people live and work in and should be convenient for them. It shouldn't be a tourist attraction and historical museum of how streets used to look in the 6th Century. you want to know why America outperforms us economically? That's one of the reasons, it doesn't take them six hours to travel 10 miles.

          >but what did they really "lose" to these attacks on either side.
The Ukrainians lost a few thousands tonnes of unstable rocket fuel, which they might have been able to recycle into a few hundred tonnes of stable rocket fuel post war but was otherwise useless
The Russians lost a few thousand barrels of fuel/oil and a major storage and logistics hub for their fuel supply, however this was deep in the rear and thus unlikely to seriously impact Russian fuel logistics since those are being constrained by transportation bottlenecks and not supply

Current reports are that it was a facility holding old Soviet ICBM boosters waiting to be decommissioned. These would likely be solid fuel rockets which, when they explode, produce this kind of firework style explosion you see in

as burning chunks of fuel are launched by the blast. Liquid fuel usually produces more of a fireball explosion as the fuel is aerosolized and catches fire.

There was a news article a couple years back saying there were ICBMs stored there. So unless Ukraine moved the ICBMs somewhere else and replaced the ICBMs with ammo.
