P80

Can it be done with harbor freight
>fret cutter
>xacto knife
>hand drill + bits
>bastard file
I refuse to spend more than $20 on tools for this. The only thing I don’t have of this list is the fret cutter and maybe the drill bits

You seem like one of the reddit naggers that are saying
      >ooh dude you need a drill press and mineral oil or else itll come out like shit
      >use code marinegunbuilder 10% off

Why even you ask if it can be done if you're just going to be a cunt when someone tells you something you don't want to hear?

you seem like an actual nagger posting an annoying question and then chimping out when someone doesn't affirm your brown opinion.

The top tabs are soft enough to slice off with a razor the center part I used a demel with a ball tipped bit. The most critical part is the rear rail. You may have to file the bottom face of the rail so it sits deep enough in the frame

If you already have a drill, or drill press, or can borrow one, yes.
    you have to drill holes
the rest can be done with sandpaper or files, but is faster and easier if you have access to a dremel.

a p80 isn't going to save you money. if you wanted a glock clone for cheap you should have bought during last weekends sale on daggers at PSA. you could have bought one for $240.

I made one for $200 already having the tools. $150 parts kit $10 shipping, $40 frame free shipping.

I really wish they made these just a bit harder to finish, more along the lines of an 80% AR lower in order to put them out of reach of nogs.

The spring channel already filters them. There's tons of videos of them only managing to get off one shot or trying to rack the slide and it getting stuck halfway.

It's absolutely possible infact you'll be using that file and sand paper for the vast majority of the time. You don't need the fret cutter and can easily just go nice and slow with the file for the side tabs. The only hard part is like I said above the spring channel. wrap your spring assembly in 1 layer of sandpaper and slide it in to know when you've properly cleared it.

That's good at least, I've never built a P80 but I probably should just for practice. Truth be told I'm not a 2A absolutist, I want blacks and most Hispanics disarmed and preferably incarcerated. Not sorry.

If anything they shy away from them and immediately assume it's a jammomatic now a days. Can't imagine a 3d printed frame getting much love either.
TL;DR they got filterd to death

But you'll buy an expensive P80? Just print a glock frame and buy a cheap chicom dremel and punches, you can finish the frame with those and a harbor freight hand drill

Absolutely, you don't even need a fret cutter, the tabs can be done with careful scoring with the exacto knive. Use a bit of sandpaper glued to a marker if your files aren't working well. This is only the case if you got an 80% rather than a 76% bridge frame.

Delta team has $15 jigs, gunbroker kits are thebest deal and you can usually find them with rails, hope you already got a frame.

why is there some waffle shit in the back where the rail and trigger go?

Last year the atf banned glock clone 80% frames, to stay in accordance with the law while it played out in the courts polymer80 released 76% frames with additional material in the trigger shoe pocket, behind pin holes where the locking block sits and they have one less hole drilled. It set the bar higher as someone requested in this thread. A pain it the butt but still manageable with an iq over 90.

It's been going back and forth in the courts, many manufacturers had injunctions and so were able to sell regular 80% frames. But a few weeks ago the supreme court vacated those injunctions, there are a few vendors who "haven't caught up to the legal situation" and are still selling them though. Don't know if they are waiting for cease and desists, raids, or their stock to run out.
