I think it's because you ate a lot of food and didn't exercise very much.

You have zero excuses to be this fat, eat less, starve more. Start using anxiolytics instead of eating your anxiety away.

    Experience speaking:

    Only eat:
+ Meat (Fatty meat very much okay) (This is the base)
+ Greens (No need to go overboard)
    + Eggs
    + Fish
+ Oysters, mussels, crab, lobster, roe

    Do not eat:
    - Any carbs really unless in trace amounts
    - Sugar obviously, but also rice, beans, potato, whatever
    - Seed oils (only animal fats and olive oil is okay)
    - Fruits (maybe only very occasional berries)
    - Anything else really. Just stick to the green list hardcore. It has all the nutrition you need.
    - Any kind of additive or processing that corrupts the things in the green list.

Eat one meal a day or even less (fasting). When I was losing weight I could comfortably go 2 days on a single steak. Almost everything you think you know about nutrition is likely bullshit. You need to think from a perspective of some ice age mammoth hunter from before agriculture, because that's what human evolutionary biology is.

Start lifting and running (or walking if you can't). Also swimming. Swimming will be smarter then running or even walking for your weight.

You will lose weight without having to count calories or anything like that, while at the same time having amazing nutrition, being able to increase muscle instead of losing it, not starving (carb withdrawal is neurological like drugs and not starving) etc.

But maybe to do that you first need to take your life seriously. In fact this is certainly *the* obstacle here. I'm giving you a way known to work. Will you stick to it?

TLDR: Only eat steak and a bit of greens. As much as you want. Lift and run. It's really that simple.

PS. This is not really a "diet". It's the framework of proper human nutrition. After achieving good weight, you can still continue this and become very fit and healthy.

PPS. Seriously, I'm offering you a golden key to losing weight, where I say: Yes. You can eat as much of delicious steak as you want. Yet you don't take that? Frick you!
