Like I said gay, I have both. I shoot my garand and M1 carbine along with my AR and plastic pistols. What I said was if EVERYONE went back to old school it would be cool. Relax and work on your cardio nip.
Why would you ever carry a 1911 hammer down? It's a SAO it should be cocked and locked at all times.
It's not like a beretta 81 where the lack of a decocker might actually be an issue (it's not)
this giant hunk of stamped steel is the biggest piece of shit I've ever fired. It weighs 10 pounds yet still is uncontrollable due to the insane rate of fire it has and will dump a drum mag as quickly as a regular SMG will fire a 30 round stick mag. It never made it through a single drum or magazine without some sort of feeding issues and there's really nowhere to hold it comfortably once the barrel starts getting hot unless you want to cup the drum mag or put your support hand right after the trigger guard. there's also just surfaces all over the thing to cut up your hand and make your experience unpleasant and open bolt guns in general just suck
fuck all the video games and vatnigs that glorified this thing as being so great, I regret the $75 I spent on renting one at the local range. I'll take a Beretta Model 38 or Suomi M/31 over this thing any day of the week or even a goddamn PPS-43
Could just be the one you shot had problems. I still remember that marine that looted one in Afghanistan and loved it for room clearing, used it until he couldn't find ammo for it anymore.
I get that marines aren't the brightest, but surely a boot understands this stuff and he'd have dropped it if it was that bad.
I highly doubt that grunt got to use that thing for more than a day, when I was in any weapon that was grabbed by a trooper had to be turned in at the end of the mission, now obviously some guys would hide shit and assuming your CO didn't catch you or give a shit (very possible with marines) you could keep it for a little while, I'd be genuinely surprised if he had found more than maybe 3 mags tops for the thing though, most guys we found had only 1 mag on them and maybe a spare if they were lucky. However the time period really matters since everything I'm talking about was 05-07 if it was earlier or later it might have been a little different.
>I still remember some made up bullshit story I’m going to regurgitate
Yeah, an enlisted United States marine in theater was allowed to carry a rare machine gun he found, and continued to use while looting ammo. Never mind his serielized issued weapon, they just let him leave that on the FOB.
I make all my guns as heavy as possible so fags like you could never use any of them. And no slings on any of them or lanyard loops >You need to be a man to run a gun son!
Everything PSA is completely overrated, it’s a consooomers and a poorfags cope, the machining and the metal quality are horrendous compared to any other higher priced AR.
PSA bolt carriers look like something from kyber pass
Please not buy 5 PSA rifles when you can just buy one good rifle for the same price
PSA rifles are perfectly fine. Don't let strangers on the internet trying to justify their $2500 build talk you into spending too much. They can never cite anything specifically wrong with a PSA, only a vague notion of "quality". PSA rifles are basic but perfectly functional.
This! So much this! Literally why I only buy premium brands like KAC! Every last cent in the $2,500 price tag is worth it! Even though I never shot it in the three years of owning it, I can sleep soundly knowing I'm not a poorfag!
Sometimes you do just gotta flex on the poors though. I don't care if I never shoot any of my shit because I'm too busy stroking my shit to seething poorfags like you.
in order to flex on the poors the gun needs to be 10k at least AND you bought it with cash. Anything less is dodge viper tier, things for poorfags to use to pretend to not be poorfags.

The shorty to the far right is a RossMkII, that some kind soul artfully cut into a rather handy little carbine. I used to have a No1MkV, but I was offered absurd money for it.
It is a simple, natural, and beautiful gun. Sits well in the hand, feels good to shoot, fires a bigass juicy bullet. You can get it double stacked as well with more rounds.
>classic .45 1911
is still bulletproof reliable, howevwr 9mm in 1911 is better in everyway >strikerfire
much more complicated single-action gun thta is less safe than a DA/SA >AR/AK
rifles that only gained popularity dur to marketing and government regulations
>overrated guns
basically anything h&k >reliable as a glock >accurate as a glock >ergonomic as a glock >thrice the price of a glock
It's handy to flex on the poors with.
HK is odd in that they are overrated until everyone says they are overrated, then they are underrated until everyone says they are underrated. They are the Toyota of guns currently
I think the boys over at h&k must've heard 'under-rated' once and hiked the prices. There's no way anyone would call these things under rated for what they go for these days.
The Tisas I bought to go along the Colt is not bad. All the Colt 1911 parts I have dropped in with little fuss, and it shoots well enough. I did install one of the 80's vintage chrome lined surplus barrels and a Wilson bushing, but not because it needed them.

good man
The shorty to the far right is a RossMkII, that some kind soul artfully cut into a rather handy little carbine. I used to have a No1MkV, but I was offered absurd money for it.
>ross
even better
It is a simple, natural, and beautiful gun. Sits well in the hand, feels good to shoot, fires a bigass juicy bullet. You can get it double stacked as well with more rounds.
Fuck off, turd worlder.
>classic .45 1911
is still bulletproof reliable, howevwr 9mm in 1911 is better in everyway
>strikerfire
much more complicated single-action gun thta is less safe than a DA/SA
>AR/AK
rifles that only gained popularity dur to marketing and government regulations
>overrated guns
basically anything h&k
>reliable as a glock
>accurate as a glock
>ergonomic as a glock
>thrice the price of a glock
It's handy to flex on the poors with.
HK is odd in that they are overrated until everyone says they are overrated, then they are underrated until everyone says they are underrated. They are the Toyota of guns currently
I think the boys over at h&k must've heard 'under-rated' once and hiked the prices. There's no way anyone would call these things under rated for what they go for these days.
I want to buy one for my first handgun (legally).
unironically no, get a DA/SA like a beretta, CZ,P30 or something like that so you have as much safety as possible.
>unironically no
Stop texting me.
I want the Tisas so bad but I dunno if my local gun store even has em nor do I know if they are cool with me getting one shipped to them.
I should call em and ask if they can do an FFL transfer for me.
Next gun after that is either a MAVRICK 88 or Mossberg.
what is your budget?
>what is your budget?
Like one gorrillan dollars, nah yeah but like 500 bucks max.
The Tisas I bought to go along the Colt is not bad. All the Colt 1911 parts I have dropped in with little fuss, and it shoots well enough. I did install one of the 80's vintage chrome lined surplus barrels and a Wilson bushing, but not because it needed them.
>1911
>This pistol really stinks.
Oh wow, a gun designed over a hundred years ago.
Guns without decockers should be banned. The risk of misfiring is too high.
that's why I make sure to carry my revolver with the safety on
AR's, Some weapons from the Kalash Family.
Not to say they are bad, would love to have an AKm or a little AR pistol in sub 45 with a can for bed side but just about every build I see is one or the other.
Mp5s.
The 1911 gets a pass because it was made in fucking 1911 A.D. Yeah ok boomers hype it up but why the fuck do you even listen to them?
>question
