A patriot is not a turrist because we are willing to negotiate, but the zionist government gives us no recourse and targets innocents

A patriot is a freedom fighter above all

If you live somewhere that you're carrying for defense, no.
If you're living somewhere you're carrying to carry because a man isn't fully dressed without a gun, yes.

By "cowboy gun" please tell me you mean some kind of modern revolver and not an actual SAA. The fancy leather holster and boots/a western hat are the MINIMUM of what you need to pull that off. You can avoid making it look autistic with a smart sport coat and nice jeans or something. As for practicality...it's a fricking revolver in a leather holster. Don't press your luck against anyone that might be carrying literally any other type of handgun.

I'd probably go with a more modern revolver that resembles a SAA. If you actually plan on carrying a gun, quick reloads would be useful

It's a good idea because it's impractical to have your long gun on you at all times, especially if you're an urbanite.

Maybe on Halloween if I dress up like a cowboy. Or march in a Mummer's Parade. I'd never own a belt & holster like that because I would maybe wear it twice in my life just because I had it in the closet, or needed to rent one for some reason. For a full-sized cowboy gun ... if I owned one it would go camping with me, but in a carry rig about 20% the weight & bulk of that.

Basically, when I carry it's because it's mission critical and practical, not because I'm waving my penis parade in everyone else's face. Even when I open carry, it's low key & grey man, not flaming homosexual land of "HEY EVERYONE LOOK AT ME ME ME!!! PAY ATTENTION TO ME ME ME!!!!!" I want exactly the opposite. If I carry for a year and nobody notices, I'm Doin' It Rite™.

I've done it before and it's basically a hiding in plain sight trick. even though you're open carrying people just assume that you're a cowboy larper and don't even register the gun.

I did this for like 5 years because of what was most likely unchecked and unfiltered autism. The rig ended up costing more than the gun I carried since I had it custom made by the same people that made the tack for our horses. Even had brass privet rivets that would let it seamlessly fold up for when I sat down or was driving. I felt like my life was a dream and I just enjoyed existing when I had it on. Then some random girl at at the gas pump said that it takes a lot of confidence to wear something like that and laughed with all her friends while taking a picture of me. Sold it all like a week later. I tell myself if they didn't take pictures I would have kept on rootin and a tootin, but I don't know. Rather not be recognized by it and have more pictures taken. If you're wondering that picture is out there somewhere.

        Coward.

        >caring what women think

It was because of the picture. I swear. I had people make comments about it before and a kid try to touch it to see if it was real. Just the thought of my dumb fat face looking up at nothing in front of my shitty piss yellow Toyota being a start to a chain of pictures and memes from around town was too much for me.

It can be based under the right circumstances.
New a guy who used to come into my job who wore literally homespun shirts, jeans, and cowboy boots who carried a Schofield in a well worn leather holster.
Guy was a total bro and would spend a solid 20 minutes bullshitting over coffee with us

Kinda stupid but also based. I love cowboy shit and wear the boots all the time and sometimes the hat too but I'm not comfortable carrying a single action gun with 5 rounds and an incredibly slow reload. I do plan on getting the whole setup eventually because I want to get into CAS though, and I'd also really like to get a nice handmade leather holster with a western vibe and some kind of nice-looking more modern gun to OC in it on special occasions, probably a 1911.

I've done it innawoods, but not in a fancy buscadero rig like that. When I carry in town, it's a modern semiauto in a concealment holster..
