I open carry most of the time, black leather holster pretty close to my body. I've never had it be an issue before, but usually I've got a button up shirt on that covers it mostly. I don't generally open carry with a light t shirt.
I want to get a seecamp for super convenient pocket carry eventually though. I'm just more comfortable open carrying and shooting with the larger pistols when I can carry it without attracting too much attention.
I think if you're OC'ing your race gun with level 8 retention in a safariland black multicam drop leg holster, that's a little ridiculous.
I'm in TN, though, and I also don't give a fuck about the gray man cucks. I'm sure in other situations and locations it's way more important to be concealed, but I've never had a problem.

It's just easier to go overboard with safariland than with a lot of other holsters that still have plenty of retention. If safariland level 3 retention works for you, then go for it friend. It's probably the best for retention out there.

Because it's completely legal to SHIP guns through the post office, so I'm unironically curious to see the law that says it's illegal to have guns in the parking lots of post offices nationwide. I know of 39 CFR 232.1, but that only says that weapons/explosives can't be CARRIED or STORED on post office property except for official purposes. And it says that vehicles can be subject to search/inspection when going into NONpublic areas, which must be marked, that's not the same as merely being in the general parking lot which by definition is public.
Like, yeah, you're not supposed to carry a loaded gun into the post office, but I see nothing about leaving it in your car. Restricting that doesn't even make any sense in the majority of the country or its history.

Well than specify that. Just dont be a retard and be aware of your surroundings. I wouldnt reccomend OCing in the monkey enclosures but its not the end of the world. It also can make for some good libtard shitposting. The amount of people (tourists) who lose their shit in my tiny little town about my open carrying gives me a tremendous amount of joy.
Open Carry can be based, but OWB is kinda gay. If you're open carrying anyway there is zero reason not to just get a shoulder holster. Now you have max comfy with any size of gun including while you're doing any type of woods work, driving your tractor or whatever else, and it's harder to take too for that matter as the whiners are always complaining about (someone has to reach for it from the front). In the winter it even can become kinda concealed just by putting on a jacket.
I "conceal" a revolver in a black leather thumb break holster. I wear a denim jacket over it and nobody says anything. Do I make an attempt to conceal? A little, but if I'm reaching for a can on the top shelf at the store and my gun shows I don't really care.
