FS2000 is discontinued. F2000 is still for sale. You can still get parts but FN is by no means going out of their way to ship them to the western hemisphere
I’m at a solid 8. Several bucket list items have been checked off. (SP1, Luger, Donged SAR-1). The only guns I really want now are an M1 Garand and MP5
like 3/10, i have that classic 2008-2013 collection full of nuggets, mausers and fuddshit i never use, like 5 AK's, a single AR in an A2 configuration with an HBAR, 4 handguns but i only use the 1911
my ideal collection would be whittled down to my underfolder AK, my 1911, my saiga 12, my norinco 98 and if i could go back and buy up a cheap galil and uzi i'd be done buying guns all together
6-7, on paper/name I have good quality stuff, but i have odd luck of getting guns with qc or other issues. the best example would be my arsenal 107r. Got it on gunjoker pre-rona, but I ended up with canted sights, a loose gas tube lever and paint worse than a sharpie.luckily the trunnion is fine. In another instance I used to own an 80s tanfoglio tz75. I ended up with a gun with worse hammer bite than a 1911 and a safety lever worse than old da/sa guns from the 30s like the p38. last year I picked up an external worse for wear, but not bad auto 5. The gun turned out to be the less than ideal Remington contracted guns from the 40s and has pitting not far from the chamber. but its far enough away to be safe.
I'm at an 7, because there's always some other gun I see that I want. My current wishlist in no particular order: >Intratec Tec-22 - (goofy fungun pistol to go with the 10/22) >Beretta Model 20 (concealed carry .25 acp DA/DA) >Erma KGP-38 (sweet little 380 ACP Luger, no real use but it's pretty) >H&R 999 Sportsman (the BEST .22LR revolver ever made) >Chippa RAK-9 (9mm AK rifle, takes Beretta mags & pair with M9 pistol) >Beretta M9 (fullsize DA/SA 9mm pistol, + flashlight, goes with carbine) >Ruger LCRx (.38 or 9mm concealed carry) + Bladerunner grips + laser + clipdraw+ thunderzap ammo if .38, ammo compatibility if 9mm >PSA AK-556 (5.56 AK that takes AR mags because fuck you it's cool)
but really I need to be buying ammo and not more guns
5/10. I've got a S&W Shield, a S&W 65-2, a 10/22, Browning BPS shotgun and a Ruger MPR.
I'd like to get a .22 handgun, AP5 and a full-sized 9mm handgun and then I'd be pretty happy and probably start buying meme videogame shit, suppressors and actually fitting out and shooting the AR.
>H&R 999 Sportsman (the BEST .22LR revolver ever made)
WANT, but I'll probably end up just getting a MkIV
Fairly content. I want a good hunting/ long range precision bolt gun and I’m thinking of selling my 14.5 and LMT AR for a good 18” SPR build as well but for the most part I’ve got all I need
>be me >been collecting guns for over 10 years now >own around 30 guns at this point, never sold any >generally only buy two guns per year at this point: One for Christmas and one for my birthday. Occasionally I buy an extra one if it's a deal I just can't pass up. >still have never bought a Glock
I would say I'm 9/10 content at this point. There's always something on my list, but I could never buy another gun for the rest of my life and still have plenty of fun with what I already have.
I almost blow every paycheck on a gun, but pretty much I'm 3-4 away from calling it good and start saving for a house. Reason is I just "go" for it when the chance appears because I know I wont come across abother one.
They're not that hard to find, just have to pay out the ass for them.

But my question still stands about how well did the Sturmabteilung operate if they didn't have a commanding officer with them?
6/10 >handgun
Fully content with full size but still figuring out cc gun. >rimfire
The one I got from my father who got it from his father is still great and I take care of it. Nothing new needed. >semi auto rifle

But I know what I want at least and only a single F4 to go.
5/10, only own 10 guns ATM, but going off my focus being south African stuff ATM, only big things I really want before shifting to something else is an r1, star model b, r4 kit rifle(have a galil already), Vektor sp1, and a kommando.
Probably a 7 or 8. I bought most of what I still wanted this past summer. Utility wise I’m absolutely set. I’d like an SVD, Benelli M4, and Barrett M82 and all are based on “that would be fun to have” and I’m inclined to just throw that money into index funds for the time being.
I am going to buy some nicer optics soon, and maaaaybe NV.

I have no reason to buy another gun, having filled every niche and refined it over multiple trade outs. Anything left that I would buy is thousands of dollars and redundant to something I already have. I mean, I wouldn't mind having a p90, another 2011, an AR-10 etc, but they wouldn't do anything my current guns don't.
Currently, I'd say I'm at about 7-8 or so. I built my collection over the past 10 years or so and focused mainly on covering my bases, so it's pretty bog standard and boring (nugget, sks, AR, AK, glock, mossberg, lever action, rimfire bolt action, etc.) I also don't really have anything in the way of any cool accessories or optics. Still would like a wheelgat and a 10/22, but my next purchase is definitely going to be a subcompact since I don't like carrying my G19. I have an EDC gun, but I want a larger one for winter. I also want a sidegrade EDC gun for variety. I also have like 40 weird cartridges in a list that I want to load for.
All of these cost money. I mean a LOT of money for the niche shit I'm intsrested in. It's a very long recovery period between each new gun because I'll get something like a .460 Weatherby Mag and then it's 4 months of accumulating brass at $10 a round until I have enough to qualify as "I shoot this gun and round" instead of "I have a gun in an expensive caliber".
eh I guess a 7? I need an SFAR and a good full sized 9mm pistol. I have the money, I'm just hesitating the pull the trigger. The SFAR would be like $2000 all together (scope, light, chestrig, extra mags, etc.)
The 9mm pistol is less important, but it would round out my collection
Prolly a 6/10. Im pretty satisfied with my current stuff but Id like some things.
I still need an AK, bolt action battle rifle of some kind, M1 Garand, M14 or mini14, something in 45-70, muzzle loader musket, maybe a semi auto shotgun. Then I feel like Ill have most of my bases covered.

4/10 satisfaction.
I have the
AR-15 - rifle
Glock 19 9x19mm - pistol
Mossberg 500 12 gauge - shotgun
Norinco SKS 7.62x39 - second rifle
I want:
-AK-47 in 7.62x39
-Muzzle loader 50 cal black powder
-HK91 G3 pattern .308 battle rifle
-Ruger 10/22 .22LR
-Mossberg 590s shockwave 12g

I don't have enough. Just enough where I'm alright.
I don't know if I am on the correct path, or if my taste in guns are shit.
