The Ukies have PAC-3, a battery can hold up to 128 of the things. There's no saturating a PAC-3 battery unless you are China. Even a "half and half" load would give them 80 interceptors to play with.

This to me its pretty indicative that nothing intact actually got through that night despite the zigger cope. Those launchers are minimally armored if at all. The launch canisters are just aluminum and I don't think any of it is ballistic grade shit. The amount of fragmentation from a fully functioning weapon in the weight class that the Russian's were throwing that night would have damaged the subsystems hidden what likely just flimsy paneling intended for environmental protection even if they missed. All they needed to do was hit in the general spot and hopefully be unobstructed by buildings/hills. The frag at velocity would have done the rest. kek

There is so much talk about Patriot missile system and Patriots and just making people aware of that word and its meaning, its history, across the whole world.

Now using one to take down jets with fighter pilots? Well, that's not purely defensive, but it is war you know. You sign up to risk your life. I'm sure they have some very talented jet fighters but you know getting potentially blown up by missiles is part of the job description.

That being said, this war should not exist to begin with, and my hope is not for escalation against Ukraine or Russia but for peace in holy Christiendom. So that we might face the true enemy, the corrupt powers that start these dirty brother wars for profits and political gain.

      >My hope is not for escalation against Ukraine or Russia but for peace in holy Christendom

There are lessons to be warned in war from the actual fighters risking their lives, but not their corrupt masters forcing them to fight each other.

On a technical level, war is evolving, and this knowledge can be used for good as well as evil. The pages of history are turning, and it is often brave men with rifles who turn the page.

They apparently used a few earlier on in the war. I distinctly remember anons were shitting on them for throwing a Kinzhal at a barn or something and I do think there was mainstream media coverage that they shot their unstoppable missile. Pic related is a yook source for Russian missile expenditure, but in it they claim they had shot 10 Kinzhals at them in February. Now obviously there's no way to verify that tbh but it's a interesting claim nonetheless.

The US isn't sending F-16's but they won't block them. Which is why the UK is now buying F-16's from other countries to give to Ukraine. According to my mate, they've been training Ukrainians on western aircraft for a long time, just not openly. It'd be interesting to see if that is true. I still want couple of Eurofighters or Tornados to be given over. Do what they were designed to do.

To be fair to the vatniks, their hilarious inability to destroy a single HIMARS (i.e. a bigass truck with a bigass missile launcher on the back) for almost a year straight has set the bar so low that lightly damaging an anti-air asset with an airstrike is, relatively speaking, a pretty impressive accomplishment.

Yeah, no, I'm not buying that. Lemme link some Daily Mail video, specifically at the 17 second mark.

The clip isn't great, but we can see two missiles coming in, and both are trailing debris, indicating they've been hit, although not destroyed outright. Note that in the first image from the array, there's still a glow at ground level, like a split-second before impact, and the smoke trail from both inbounds is still visible at the very top. The damaged missile can then be seen veering as its control surfaces come apart before it hits the ground. This is either two missiles getting splashed, or one big one that broke apart and came down together.
