Imagine seeing a country you thought would welcome you as liberating brothers instead fighting you tooth and nail. Imagine seeing them gladly replacing everything Russian/Soviet with as much western gear, tactics, and training as they can get and looking slick as frick with it. Imagine being one of those arrogant ass Russian generals seeing those bastards not just resist, but fight so well you can't really do shit. What a glorious middle finger that is.
Wonder what it'd take to make the ukies so pissed they go the extra mile and drop cyrillic entirely for latin letters.

Honestly, can't wait to see them join NATO and the EU after this shitshow is over. The "Russian World" is set for a glorious collapse. A still more glorious dawn awaits. The average Ukrainian will hate Russians on a level not seen before. Here's hoping they get their own 2nd amendment and a bustling gun industry that sells cheap ammo and nifty guns to Americans.

Seriously imagine all the slav ammo Ukraine could pump out post war for American consumption, and the ATF has to cope and Seethe because the State Department goes "Shut the frick up we're helping them rebuild their nation for dying for us"

God that'd be fricking amazing. I'd finally be able to feed my AKs on the cheap again.
>The M-55S is significantly different from its predecessor. The tank received a new gun – a 105 mm Royal Ordnance L7 with a thermal insulation jacket, one of the most successful tank guns of all time. The tower and hull were covered with additional reactive armor, which even changed the silhouette of the tank, bringing it closer to modern ones. The M-55S received a digital ballistic computer and gun stabilization, a Fotona SGS-55 sight with a laser rangefinder, a Fotona COMTOS-55 commander’s sight, an improved engine, and new rubber-metal tracks, and even a LIRD-1A laser radiation detector linked to the smoke grenade launcher IS-6.
A 70 year old heavily modernized by people with actual QA soviet tank that I'd take over a T-90 given russkie equipments habit of performing far below on-paper spec.
you can obviously see the armor on the hull, moron, and they told you a bunch of the changes. stop being a headstrong stubborn homosexual.

god this brings out my autistic rage.

You can only polish a turd so much. By your logic, the North Korean Pokpung-ho is amazing.
they better be sent to a good brigade, like turn the 46th into a mechanized brigade or turn Azov Regiment or Carpathian Sich Battalion into a Panzer Group.
I hope they're not wasted on newbie recruits doing suicidal kamikazee charges accross the Steppes because of inept slovenly soviet generals
Magur is uhh.. kind of an elite brigade? It's a new brigade, core of it is good and experienced, dude on the pic is Markus, past Ukrainian VDV, bulk is new recruits, but put through some kind of new training system. Basically, they are supposed to be what Zaluzhnyi meant by "we need to form several completely new brigades with western training and western heavy equipment to take Crimea"
>please send your reserves into our media-induced frenzy over irrelevant shitholes >nnnnooooo you're supposed to fight for bakhmut, you can't just prepare for serious operations
lmao prigozhin chill
47th determined to be the most aesthetic brigade or something? The slovenian M-55s are so cool looking, but then they're going to be supporting god damned bradleys?
Just imagine that shit moving over a field. T-55's engage RF tanks, then bradleys move in front like NO BULLY THE MAD UNCLES.
Based and Bradley pilled.
I’m excited to see Bradley’s kill more communist tech fielded by 2nd/3rd world countries. I’m a little pissed it’s taken this long to send them and that we’ve only sent 50. Unironically we should be sending 500 and all of the recently decommissioned Stryker MGS (about 145 of them).
>Bradley >Wunderwaffle
I can understand how someone would think this given how much Russ-shit tanks, IFVs and APCs it’s killed. Something like a 100-1 kill ratio.
Literally in the process of being replaced. I think they already selected the contract?
The competition is ongoing for its replacement. To learn more Google: Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle (OMFV). We will still be using Bradley’s until at least 2035 when almost all of them will be replaced.
Poor vatnik thinks real world is an excel sheet where bigger number wins 😀 Surely the Bradley will just sit at the perfect engagement distance and out of TOW range of the ATGM crew. Reality is that It'll spot the dumb chainsmoking vatniks with thermals and give some chain gun rounds back. God I love seeing Russians die.
>the first one that gets destroyed will result in waves of vatfrican spamming for at least two weeks >then they'll realize that it doesn't matter and more will be sent anyway >then they'll claim that they're bad vehicles and the us is wasting money as the numbers of destroyed russian bmps goes past 1500 with no sign of stopping

Still waiting for the first HIMARS confirmed kill
Not even russian ground agents + russian satellite intel have been able to pinpoint where do they sleep during the day
Well HIMARS is artillery, it shouldn't get close enough to even see the enemy. A bradley is going to be directly engaged, so it's more likely to get knocked out, all other things being equal.
>russian ground agents
HIMARS are treated as top secret weapons by ukraine, there was some talk a few months ago how to prep a position for firing they get their own designated AA assets and recon to scout out the area before they get there
they're probably getting disguised as normie trucks when driving to/from firing position too >russian satellite intel
lol
Every non-tourist knowns Bradleys and everything else we just started sending is likely to be killed, the only reason HIMARS hasn't been is it's extremely long range.
Thing is so long as the average Bradley kills 2 IFVs or 1 MBT before being killed that is a decent trade for Ukraine.
ok dumbfricks, Bradley would do well to kill IFVs but thats not its main purpose, its purpose is to, besides riding 6 infantry assault troopers through a artillery storm, its purpose is to fire 25mm shell burst shrapnel into trenches and windows and machine gun all the infantry it can catch in the open, the tanks will take care of all the machinery
Yes it may be bad form to predict this behavior, but when a Bradley gets smoked (and they will, they are fighting vehicles eg. they will be in harms way) we all know there's going to be so much tiresome, repetitive vatnik gloating no matter how well they perform overall. The true sign of failure would be if the Ukes stuck them in the rear and didn't use them.
The first time a Bradley is truly confirmed killed in Ukraine those homosexuals are going to spam so hard it'll push pretty much anything else off the board for the day.
>They supposedly get all the machines (US, france, germany) in late march
No, all Marders are supposed to arrive by March. Bradley were already in Poland few days ago and by next week can comfortably be deployed in Zaporizhia or Donbass
I would assume they did training already and this is delivery. Remember how that one spending bill last summer authorized training ukie pilots on F-15s and F-16s?
>Ukies need some training.
Either western government are lying to their own constituents and were training them way in advance (likely) or they'll send them equipment and give crash courses in training.
to be honest it's an armored vehicle, we already know that the logistics and maintenance is done abroad, so they just need some dudes to drive it, instructions on the thermal system and how to aim/fire the TOW/Autocannon; giving them simplified crash courses might be enough (even though American crews would roll over their Ukrainian counter-parts).
There have been literally tens of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers trained in various western countries so far. I don't think there will be any system given to Ukraine where the crews won't have been trained on them prior to the announcement.
Dismount. Our Bradley's didn't have a ramp drop switch in the back though. Is that a new thing or were ours just ghetto as frick? We had to scream at the crew to drop the ramp. I don't know if you've been in the back of a Bradley but they are loud as frick.
What's left of Russian drones and artillery are worthless against armor. The Ukrainians have already repeatedly massacred you morons with fricking Humvees and the odd M113 as things stand.
>No air support, Russian drones / artillery all over and no main battle tanks.... this will end well KEK
I remember when russian shills said the same thing about the Kharkiv and Kherson offensives
I'll be honest with you anon. I am not sure ukraine can use bradley effectively yet. Don't get me wrong, given enough time and they will be proficient with operating bradley and integrating it to their armored combat doctrine. But right now they have literally zero experience using bradley and there will be lots of trial and error which might cost them dozens of bradley.
Fair. I imagine they'll just end up using them as indirect fire support and troop movement from how I've seen them use their other equipment. Who knows though, maybe they've been trained to use them properly. I mean they did that American blitz strategy last year to good effect.
>indirect fire support
Can you even use a Bradley for indirect fire? Seems like a waste of ammo when they already have stuff like AGS-17s that are actually kinda meant to be used like that.
question:
how shitty is it to be in a Bradley in winter? Does everything freeze to the hull like soviet IFVs or is it at least semi heated? If so thats a huge morale booster for the guys. Morale is half the battle in a war like this, if the men are comfy and the enemy isnt it makes a huge difference.
You can tell how utterly infatuated they are with having a nice mechanical ramp and actual space for the troops instead of those cramped deathtrap BMPs
Given how quickly these are delivered, from the time of the announcement, you have to conclude they've been on the continent for possibly months and the training was already done. So given the announcement that tanks will be sent...
A couple months, as they were delivered to refill the prepositioned stock that was emptied in Ukraines' direction initially. Whilst that stock was varied there were...... very many Bradleys replacing it. Very very many bradleys.
This is wrong even for the original Bradley's. Pre A2 Bradley's are protected vs 14.5mm all round
A2 and newer Bradley's are protected vs 30mm AP front and side
> Pre A2 Bradley's are protected vs 14.5mm all round
Do Vatniks not grasp that an IFV ten metric tons heavier than their own BMP's might have better armor? Those vehicles needed a lot of engineering compromises to be as theoretically amphibious as they are.
>Imagine the horror of being cramped in some BMP piece of shit as you slowly enter a river while praying the alcoholic in Siberia properly maintained the 50 year old rubber seals
the BMP-2 only has 14.5mm protection in the front?
Really makes the russians look like monkeys when the CVRT (you know those tiny airmobile british recon tanks that look like the wiesels big brother) had 14.5mm protection on the front and 7.62 on the sides in the original 70s configuration and 14.5mm all around after getting kevlar inserts. Double so when the BDRM can't even stop 7.62 as it turns out.
BMP-2 has (arguably) 12.7mm/20mm protection on the upper plate at LoS, but that only works at LoS. The sides are notoriously thin and don't stop 50/57 cal AP
even warthunder fantasy land says that 14.5mm API-C needs to be fired from basically fist-fighting range at a nearly 100% flat angle to penetrate a bradley
all this is going to lead to is lots of dead BTR drivers
Its funny how he never wondered what would happen when all the files get declassified and some academic goes through them. His design and arguments are so painfully moronic its amazing anyone took him seriously. He also gets further mogged that the Bradley was actually under budget even with his moronic live fire tests. Still doesnt stop autists like BlackTail, Sparky and Pierre Sprey shitting up conversations.
After a couple beers, she pulls you twink ass close and says that now that you all heading to Vallhala together, she'd like one last night of being made to feel like a woman.

it has thermals which makes it leagues better than any of those stock T-72s the vatnigs have been digging up

False, it has a thermal imaging system with a range further than any found on Russian armour.
Every Bradley was upgraded to this after the turn of the century.
M55S doesn't have a thermal sight

Someone should tell the Russians.
Russia already realized that vehicles are useless so they are now using improved tactics, such as human wave charges
I'm always amazed at how much of a shafting Russians will take up the ass from their own people and somehow not see the problem.
Its an IFV from the early 80's. Its hardly a wonder weapon. Maybe its capabilities are so far beyond Russian means it is for their pathetic military.
Isn't bradley is already decomissioned by the us because it is obsolete.

where are the Kornets and gayots? they seem very absent.
>the gayots are all on here
>No gayots left behind
wdym? Putin's been deploying gayots since the invasion began
The Bong soldier on Lindybeige said they're firing gayots
same Black person that said suppressors are useless because they clog up your weapon after one magazine, no way he can tell a gayot from an RPG
>no way he can tell a gayot from an RPG
Neither can most of /tg/.
They are out there. Ukraine wouldn't be begging for any and every vehicle available if they still had vehicles.
What would they need to learn differently from the stuff they currently have? Shoots gun and delivers infantry.
Coordination mostly. One bradley is good IFV, several well coordinated bradleys is ultimate tank whipping forse.
It's literally just an armored jeep, ukes will do fine with them
question:
how shitty is it to be in a Bradley in winter? Does everything freeze to the hull like soviet IFVs or is it at least semi heated? If so thats a huge morale booster for the guys. Morale is half the battle in a war like this, if the men are comfy and the enemy isnt it makes a huge difference.
Wunderwaffe
You can tell how utterly infatuated they are with having a nice mechanical ramp and actual space for the troops instead of those cramped deathtrap BMPs
Given how quickly these are delivered, from the time of the announcement, you have to conclude they've been on the continent for possibly months and the training was already done. So given the announcement that tanks will be sent...
air transport is fast
A couple months, as they were delivered to refill the prepositioned stock that was emptied in Ukraines' direction initially. Whilst that stock was varied there were...... very many Bradleys replacing it. Very very many bradleys.
They already know how to deal with them. Yet more of our taxes spent on moving khokhol coffins.
>Call the birds
What birds?
Big metal ones
Tick tock piggies.
How do you target a moving target with a shaheed?
You can't.
Activate the takbir guidance system.
add a mobik riding on top with a rudder
>muh shasneed
LMAO, over 90% of them are already gone, with nothing of substance to show for it.
silly westoid
Russia just bought another batch of Shaheeds at a 10000% mark up
The west shivers at our geopolitical plays unrivaled even by bismarck
>with nothing of substance to show for it.
well, ukraine is now packed with more AA than an average NATO country
that's something
tbh Ukraine already had one of the most concentrated AA grids in the world, now half of it just became westernized
>Half
more like 10%
Ukraine had like 250 s300 systems at the start of the war and many other aa systems
those single digit western aa is not alot
I KNEEL
>The side armor does not protect from 14.5
Good one. Hope some mobiks try that out on a M1A2
>side armor does not protect it from 14.5mm
Sounds like a good way for BTR-80 crews to commit suicide by 25mm.
I wonder how many drownings have happened since the 1990s
the BMP-2 only has 14.5mm protection in the front?
Really makes the russians look like monkeys when the CVRT (you know those tiny airmobile british recon tanks that look like the wiesels big brother) had 14.5mm protection on the front and 7.62 on the sides in the original 70s configuration and 14.5mm all around after getting kevlar inserts. Double so when the BDRM can't even stop 7.62 as it turns out.
BMP-2 has (arguably) 12.7mm/20mm protection on the upper plate at LoS, but that only works at LoS. The sides are notoriously thin and don't stop 50/57 cal AP
They probably think that the extra weight is just the Americans inside. Fair but lethal assumption.
even warthunder fantasy land says that 14.5mm API-C needs to be fired from basically fist-fighting range at a nearly 100% flat angle to penetrate a bradley
all this is going to lead to is lots of dead BTR drivers
Are these bullets to scale?
>russians so scared they already made a full guide on how to defeat it
lmao
>an American BMP
this ain't the Russian language boyo

ISIS used those as suicide bricks
>ynr James Burton wrote an entire book trying to shit on the bradley because his moronic plane got rejected
I'm glad that he got mogged so hard that he basically went into hiding, fricker deserved it 100%
Its funny how he never wondered what would happen when all the files get declassified and some academic goes through them. His design and arguments are so painfully moronic its amazing anyone took him seriously. He also gets further mogged that the Bradley was actually under budget even with his moronic live fire tests. Still doesnt stop autists like BlackTail, Sparky and Pierre Sprey shitting up conversations.
It's a good thing Sprey kicked the bucket
I love how it looks like an angry pile of boxes
i'm sad that he hasn't died like sprey yet.
IT'S A FRICKING DOCUMENTARY
It's as much a documentary as Birth of a Nation was.
No it's a mockumentry, that's why so much of it is full of shit.
I served on brads 3/1 CD. I hope the Russians kill every single Ukrainian driving around in that globohomosexual tin box.
BN? I was in 3-8
6-9. Went from a bad unit to a good unit when I was there.

I'm a leopard, send me to germany.
I can't wait to see ukrainian camo on the bradleys. Someone at least post a mockup
