>Silent strike. They'll never hear us coming
Don't really know what that means, I'm guessing it can shoot further and maybe it can even fire artillery shells now.
Are you excited about m1a2 sep v4?

That they'll make like 3, realize it's too expensive and high maintenance and then shit out another Abrams upgrade package or derivative.

The main gun looks much bigger

it's a completely different turret, it appears symmetrical, and the gun has the same proportion with the chassis. If its an all electric design that uses tesla style drive components that are cellularised, there might even be an autoloader due to a lack of need for maintenance in the field by comparison, which would allow for a smaller turret with better integration of the SEP v3 upgrades

We already know what the M1A2D looks like and it's not that
this might be a simple mockup, but the "XM1A3" doesn't exist. It's not a real concept. once the cold war stopped funding for the CATTB and/or 140mm Abrams pretty much vanished.
It's crazy to think this, but the US spends barely more than 3% of its GDP on national defense right now. We genuinely may be unable to design a third generation IFV or fourth generation MBT and field it in the next 10-20 years if this keeps up.

lol loudest electric engine ever. emp=dead

      >emp
There is no such thing as an EMP weapon. If you're dropping a nuke (which makes an EMP as a byproduct) then the tank is dead anyway. Also
      >what is shielding

lol shielding only works so far. a radio tower and radar dishes are emps. the power is turned way down.

MIL-STD-461 and 464 exist for a reason, military vehicles and the equipment within them are tested to withstand interference of a variety of types

Batteries good enough for electric watch without an APU running, so no noise

OR hybrid electric with batteries? strike implies offensive but hybrid electric would be a pretty big change to the abrams

muh emp fields from nukes can't even take out a civilian car let alone a specifically emp hardened tank. they're a big threat to large antennas like a power grid but not much of one to stuff below that

Lol no. But tanks have been able to use their HE shells to serve as quasi artillery since forever.
