Now that the dust has settled. What would you have done differently if you were fighting against local corrupt law enforcement?

And they die in droves with their balls in one hand and a pistol held sideways in the other.

Charge them for random shit and then shoot them on the courthouse steps like that one commie Hatfield.

Ironically, Wyatt had no intention of starting a fight and was ordered to escort the cowboys out. When he showed up with two brothers and Doc Holiday the cowboys panicked and everyone went for their guns. Ten seconds later, 3 men were dead, 3 were wounded, the rest had fled except for Wyatt Earp, the last man standing.

Given that they were pretty decent for frontier law (kept Brocius from being lynched when he shot a previous marshal who was well liked, testified that it was probably accidental and didn't hide said marshal's statement saying it was accidental), and I fricking hate robbers and thieves and horse thieves are extra bad you shouldn't steal another man's horses, I'd be siding with the law and shooting the cowboys.

As someone who read a family account about my great great grandfather having his prized horse stolen from him and spirited away across the medicine line I agree with you, but OP asked about corrupt law enforcement, not the variety that actually enforced the law and did so justly.

          No. The Earps were corrupt.

No evidence of that and there was a smear campaign against them.

Get soiled doves and ceiling experts to stab them in the taint or shoot them with a muff gun when the corrupt officials are utilizing their services.

Set their office ablaze and camp the exits. Extra points for rubble or mines on the roads to stymie fire fighters/reinforcements.

Aim better. There were approximately 30 shots fired, only 7 of those shot hit anyone, and the whole shooting occurred at less than 5 yards away.

I was wrong, it was actually 8 shots hit.
        >Frank McLaury was shot in the head and abdomen
        >Tom McLaury was shot once with a shotgun
        >Billy Clanton was shot once in the wrist and twice in the torso
        >Morgan Earp was shot across his back
        >Virgil Earp was shot in the calf
Still not an impressive display of accuracy by the Cowboys, or anyone really. It makes you appreciate how cheap ammo is now and how easy it is go out and practice.

I don't blame them, there had to have been a shitton of adrenaline and panic firing in such a large shootout in the middle of a town.

          >It makes you appreciate how cheap ammo is now and how easy it is go out and practice.
Some people still did. When he was a lawman, Wild Bill Hickok would shoot his Colt Navies at the end of each day and then reload them for the next day. He would often make a show of it too, shooting playing cards or coins in front of the townspeople.
Of course, luck is more important than skill which is why Wild Bill was shot and killed while Wyatt Earp was never even grazed and died of old age.

Luck had nothing to do with Wild Bill getting shot.

No sense in engaging them in the streets of their town. Best to buy a Sharps or Rolling Block and ambush them when they leave.

Frankly, not much. On the law side they've got Wyatt Earp who was one of the best gunslingers of the age and Doc Holiday who was suicidally bloodthirsty like a viking with terminal cancer.

The best move is to offer to shake Wyatt's hand. This shows you're not here for trouble and gives you a good chance of not starting a fight at all.
