I gotta say the new general knows to make use of talent and shows signs of competence.

      Very true, not like this.

Strelkov might unironically be one of the few competent people in the russian army but he will soon realize that its literally over for them and there is nothing he can do.

I think he HAS realized it.

He joined the war to commit suicide by futile combat. This is his grandiose way to putting a gun to his head and pulling the trigger.

Just charge into battle and fricking die.

You know what if he does that I will have no choice but to respect the move

Strelkov is the classic case of "born in the wrong time and place".

He should have been born a Western Ukrainian. He would have been a great hero of the SBU.

Seriously, Girkin has literally run himself into a dead end of suicide.

        >He can't go full Separatist because Ukraine is going to wreck those places
        >He can't grovel to Putin because he correctly believes Putin is a fricking idiot
        >He can't go to Ukraine because he refuses to sell out his own country and because Ukraine will shoot him anyway
        >He can't go to the West because he'll just be interrogated and finally shot

He could continue being an armchair general and provide me with more doomposting

Unfortunately Putin appears to have decided to have him arrested soon.

So Strelkov is out of time. He's going to try to die in battle.

He can still change his name, get a fake passport and book a charter flight to some remote country.

Girkin is probably one of the most baffling paradox people I've ever seen.

He shot down a civilian airliner and started the beginning of a fricking slow-burn war for stupid-ass reasons for a shithole nation.

So he did bring ALL of this down on himself. But he has handled it far better than Putin has, in terms of test of character.

I recommend reading about the shit he has done before he was stationed in Ukraine.

To be honest, he reminds me of The Operative.

Dangerous as frick, but sincere in his belief he's right. Yet capable of lucidity.

Genocidal imperial intent married to fanatical idealism is rare and extremely dangerous.

He's not very lucid if you ask me.
He never doubted the RF until this war and did monstrous shit without thinking twice. He's not evil because he has to be, he thinks he actually thinks doing the right thing.

The separatists who went against the RF and actually believed in the meme republic were actually all liquidated in the last few years and he's sorta like the only one left now.

                No worries.

He can still change his name, get a fake passport and book a charter flight to some remote country.

It is possible he'll run, and write his memoirs in exile.

Though keep in mind I'm comparing him to such civilized figures like "General Armageddon", "Butcher Of Mariupol", and "Butcher of Syria".

Strelkov is a complete moron who lives in some paralel reality. He thinks it's 1941 and he can just mobilize the whole country to fight Ukraine and nobody will bat an eye.
