I guess that's if you need to give yourself a peanut butter enema.

        >Goyslop brand
Peanut butter should have one ingredient. Jiffy is sugar loaded, processed oil saturated trash. If you don't pack like a moron you can put it in a zip lock bag.

        >another goyslop brand

Why not just take a small plastic jar of peanut butter and when you’re done with peanutty goodness you can just toss the empty jar in a bush or stream

You can get re-useable squeeze tubes for food at a lot of camping supply stores.
Coghlans makes some. They work fine for peanut butter.

    >single use disposable plastic package that normally sits undisturbed on a diner table broke after hours of constant movement and crushing
You know peanut butter comes in much more durable jars right?

There is another brand called Justin's and it is in a foil packet, like an oversized ketchup/mayo packet. Maybe these would hold up better?

Have used those before on hikes. Are super convenient and the hazlenut and almond butter ones are tasty as frick but they aren't cheap.

A good alternative might be powdered peanut butter, all you have to do is mix with water.

This is the best alternative. Unless you are making a meal with peanut butter, these are the best for calories on the move.
Steal honey packets from gas stations to go along with them.
Why scroatmeal companies dont just put that peanus butter powder shit in their packets yet, idk, but you can always just mix your own into baggies

Those tubes seem like too much of a hassle to clean. I would just throw some powered peanut butter in a ziploc. When you're ready to eat it, add some water to the bag and massage it to mix it all up, then cut off a corner of the bag and squeeze it out.

If I'm mixing food up and using water, it's going to be more substantial than that stupid powdered crap. The soft foil single serve packets are perfect.

If they're anything like actual tubes, the bottom unrolls and you just fill them with a spoon. They're a common buy for painters who DIY their oils or watercolors.
