Wild to still see troops attacking frontline positions in gosh darn BMP1-s in the year of our Lord 2023, decades after the Yom Kippur War. Bless their souls.
I've saying since this boondongle started that we own an apology to all the arab armies, specially the syrian army in Yom Kippur and Saddam Republican Guard, because after seeing this shit I realized they performed really well for their circumstances
Absolutely. >It's a good job the Israelis were only fighting arab retards in Soviet monkey-model vehicles. Imagine if they had to fight a REAL army like the Soviet union. The world trembles at the thought. >Russia invades Ukraine using Soviet equipment and doctrine
The Soviets at the time were essentially blaming the arabs for being useless at fighting and not living up to the beautiful theory of Soviet doctrine. lmao
I apologize to the arab world.
Yep >Be Republican Guard tank divisions >Have the allied overwhelming air power pound you for 42 days non-stop, day and night >Support lines, comms, air defenses, depots, troops concentrations, c3i infrastruture, all bombed to smitheens
>The day comes, the allies, they come rolling like devils. >Put a reasonably good resistance and keep fighting like a cohesive force and make the allies fight you to the bitter end, even with all the odds against you.
>Be Russian tank divisions >Get your supply depots bombed by a handful of medium range rocket artillery. >Now you are reduced to WW1 tactics.
It also shows how just how overwhelmingly powerful NATO was at the time and the USA in particular to so comprehensively crush the Iraqis like that. But a lot of people still say "guess we'll never know" about what would have happened if the Soviets invaded Europe in WWIII. Soviets/Russians have always been coasting on an monumentally undeserved military reputation.
Absolutely, if you want to go toe on toe with the good old airland battle doctrine and lose air superiority you are toasted, but even with that they put up a fight, they keep their unit coheshion intact and they were able to perform limited warfare who knows, maybe with enough reserves, safe rear echelon (by being waaay far from the front), and more resilience on your supply lines you *migth* be able fight through that and stop the offensive.
The Republican Guard couldn't pull that because didn't have the space, maybe the soviets could have this in europe but after seeing this, and reading all the stuff about their innards is clear that we are not going to have seven days to the Rhine unles they come out nuking everything first....
Fuck, Egypt pulled the most daring water mass crossing when they took the Suez Canal, Russia on the other hand, when they tried something like that gave us pic related.
>imagine being one of those arab soldiers and realising your govt got scammed by sneaky russians into buying that shitty equipment while trying to climb out of a burning BMP
I mean you can actually only proof stuff using formal logic and set theory and go on from there. Everything else is just a collection of data points of an complex dynamic system.
>mfw ukraine invaded itself to blame russia for invading it >mfw they were planning on invading russia and tricked russia into self defending to make them look bad >mfw the russians are the good guys and they actually have been trying to explain it to everyone since day one but no one listends >mfw its 14 days (+1year) of the SMO and it's going EXACTLY according to plan and theres nothing any garden gnome can do to change my opinion
From what I've seen in this war there's almost no one dying from gun fire
They are all just camping next to each other and wait for which side will be wiped out by artillery first.
I'm thinking there's got to be a way to easily cut down BMP's to make something useful.
Like if you have m123a3 or some shit there should be instructions on how to use a BMP to uparmor it. Just really get the message out there to never use these vehicles ever.
hmmm roasted piggies
>russian white IFF

>beautiful theory of Soviet doctrine
The soviet doctrine was always to throw churkas at the problem.
It isn't even the first time that happened.
When did the Israelis shoot down Soviets?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Rimon_20
Thanks, I had no idea the Soviets were that involved with the nations against Israel. I had no idea F-4s had kills on Soviet pilots.
>imagine being one of those arab soldiers and realising your govt got scammed by sneaky russians into buying that shitty equipment while trying to climb out of a burning BMP
kek.I never thought about it like that, we do own them an apology.
I see Prigozhin unleashed his secret army
Arnt you guys the ones screaming cope everywhere and post shit like this without batting an eye?
you cant PROVE that the war is REAL
I mean you can actually only proof stuff using formal logic and set theory and go on from there. Everything else is just a collection of data points of an complex dynamic system.
Did they dress the corpses in Russian uniforms and put white bands on them too?

Not nearly fat enough to be a Bakhmut dog

That's usually how near-peer wars go, anon.
These videos make war look exhausting. So many guys sleeping on the job.
He can't keep getting away with it.
