Welcome to /k/, PrepHole's weapons board. Our board centers around weapons, armor, and other myriad military technology. While guns are the primary topic, threads involving any other sort of weapons, from swords and knives to tanks and jet fighters, come up frequently as well.

I assume they don't have enough tanks anymore so it's not going to be attempted.

So like last time, during the spring mud but this time without the equipment or professional troops against a better armed and prepared foe?

Why not do a January offensive? The only difference to last year will be tanks bein 20 years older.

Nice fear mongering anon! I bet they kept the best equipment around for this offensive, and trained their mobiks approprietly
They gonna get wiped out, and I'm kinda scared of the aftermath. Putin might do some crazy shit when he feels his death coming, like nuking a country

No, it's going to kill thousands of ziggers for pitiful gains whilst paid ghouls act out the farce of pretending it is a masterpiece of military strategy.

Putin could raise 500 full strength divisions and it wouldn't get him anywhere

    This is a bad strategy.

A good strategy would be to attack Kiev and only Kiev with 3 million men at least.

It's 2027, we await the yearly February festival as 300k Russians line up on the Belarusian boarder armed with various plywood facsimiles of Soviet era equipment. It seems that most of the participants are elderly men but there are some women and children too. This year we have a special treat, a restored T-34 will be participating alongside the tank mockups.
In one hours time they are expected to cross into Ukrainian territory where like the proceeding 5 years this has occurred the Ukrainians will open up on them with artillery ceremonially lent to Ukraine over Christmas by western nations for this event. After the last survivors scurry back across the border the people of the world will gather around their televisions, computers and smart devices to listen to Vladimir Putin's yearly victory speech followed by a traditional meal containing food from one or more of the honored supporting nations.
Back to you in the studio.

    >Now that our best troops are dead, our most modern equipment destroyed or captured, our logistics have been mangled and the enemy has mobilized their reserves, received western training and weapons, we will do the exact same thing we failed at before when all the cards were in our favor. Don't worry, we will make up for the short fall with a large mob of poorly trained, poorly equipped mobilized force without thought to the fact that last time our logistics could not handle half that number.
    This should be interesting.

With what gear? With what equipment? With what personnel? With what tanks? 300k mobiks wasted, now they're calling for 500k more.

    >Has russian logistics improved?
    >Has russian combat doctrine changed (for the better)?
    >Has combined arms coordination improved?

They’re going to need all this to even stand a chance at this point. Unless Ukrainian forces drop the ball, but after recent russian strike on that apartment complex, most probably want russian extinction.
