At least they had the decency to put the mag in the grip.
Dude smith and Wesson must have hired someone with more than 90 IQ points cuz their products lately have been quite promising.
yeah I actually want their 5.7 pistol, and while I don't want this carbine I can see the appeal.
>pistol grip doesn't fold up, preventing it from being only one square high when folded.
Yoooo
Now you can shoot 3 gun PCC division with your M&P, M&P, and your M&P!
M&P shotgun when?
Already happened, they won't give kel-tec a break
Looks like a mini mg42 with that hinge
first thing i saw too
Note that it also comes with a case and three magazines (one 17 round, two 23 round) which is a good bit of value. It looks like those 23 round mags normally go for 50$ each.
Neat. At least the price is fucking reasonable for a blowback, unlike most of the wack crap I see coming out for $1000+.
its 100 bucks more than a CX4 and 250 bucks more than a sub2k.
and 300 cheaper than Ruger PCC and it fucking FOLDS
dude, a cx4 at buds is $800.
Looks kinda cool. Does it suck?
Can it handle a steady diet of +p+? They could have at least included removable flip up sights.
It looks like a sub2k with better features
Seems like this would have been a really big deal 5 years ago. Are people still into blowback PCCs?
That's pretty damn sexy. Going to have to give that a solid look at.
My greatest interest is that it smoothly handles any/every P+ load for duty, but regular 9mm for all the plinking and target practice. If it also does well with +P+ that's good, but not sure I'd really use it that much ... just comfy that it's engineered for it.
The sub2k manual advises against using P+, and since this so similar design-wise, I doubt it's different. Otherwise it would be added as a selling point.
Kel-tecs really aren't designed to be shot
>polymer shroud/rail
>polymer frame
apparently, neither is this one as well
Did you morons not see my post?
Calm down, Francis. You asked a question, I asked a question. This is a good thread to post answers in (with links) as we find them. I saw your post, but it didn't have any answer in it, so my apologies that I didn't give you a hug for your effort.
I want one in 5.7 or 10 millimemer.
>10 millimemer.
10mm direct blowback kind of sucks, that's the problem.
Like, not ballistically, but for the shooter themselves.
A buddy has an Olympic 10mm upper, if you use full power loads the brass won't roll straight on a table anymore because it comes out of the chamber too quickly and the pressure gives it a slight taper.
It's scary.
That’s why I think 5.7 would work as pcc toob gun.
Look's cool, and fuck patents, I hope S&W makes a non shit copy of the RFB and RDB next.
It's kinda impressive that it manages to be uglier than the sub2k.
I had a 9mm and the sub2k would tear pieces of jacket off and throw them at people from the action. It was a little alarming. I fucking LOVED shooting that gun though. If they made one with sturdier and slightly finer irons, I'd get another one.
Still managed to put a bunch of socket cap hex screws on it. Haha..
>stolen kel-tec technology
>not stolen kel-tech
one job
Okay but why has Smith and Wesson of all companies decided they're going to do nothing but rip off kek tek all of the sudden?
good artists borrow, great artists steal.
Everyone got mad at them for poorly ripping off Glock with the Sigma, so they needed to set their sights lower where reliability and function can't be as easily compared to a superior product.
Kel-Tec is easy pickings honestly. All S&W has to do is innovate just a tiny bit. They only have to give people a slightly better gun than Kel-Tec and the big part, actually make that shit available in decent quantities with better quality control so that you can actually go to the store and fucking buy it.
>side folding
DROPPED, we've known bottom folding is superior for over a century now
but does it take glock mags??
there has never been a good firearm that took Glock mags
>Smith & Wesson firearms
> M&P line of products
> waddabout MUH Schlock??
Go be a moron somewhere else.
who is buying these blowback 9mm carbines? I don't understand the appeal.
>meanwhile, at smith and wesson R&D
So Kel-Tec comes up with all their cool ideas by doing cocaine?
>does cocaine
>later
We should copy Kel-Tecs products
What are the odds they make one in 10mm?
Is that the Proud Boys company?
