Meaning MSRP will be $999, but still seems like a good deal as long as it being compatible with chokes also means it will work with the shotgun suppressors that are out there.

1099 apparently lmao, street value will hopefully get down to around 899 though

      “Battle proven”
I’m sure my mossberg isn’t going to get scared and fail to fire just because some gay army hasn’t shot some gay pajeet yet.

Well, if its a 940, then thats entirely possible on the second round without mods. Condensations been known to nothing personnel them pretty bad in the past. If its a 500 series then they are combat proven and rather thoroughly.

      >3 gun
      >hunting
Are very different things then what the m4 was built for. The M4 shotgun was the only shotgun to pass military trials for the US.

Yes for civilian use the m2 or other inertia based shotguns are much more practical and cheap. But for a combat shotgun? The m4 is unmatched.

Honest question, what makes the M4s operating system so objectively superior to the1301 or a300? is it a likely meaningful difference for civilian defensive or LE patrol/duty use?

        Anonymous

One could argue its gas system has been in hard use longer, therfore more proven.
But most LE don't use semiauto shotguns anyways.

          Anonymous

Its not the operating system, its the build. The 1301 is built to be a light comp gun. The M4 is built to withstand hard use.

So there's literally no reason except that its built thicker so if you want to use it as a bludgeon it might survive that better? sounds like youre just emotionally invested in the design, which is cool, but no need to go around acting like theres some massive practical difference

Unless you're literally fighting in combat, and you need the shotgun to survive across multiple moronic 18 year olds, there is no reason for the benelli.
And even then the beretta may survive that abuse as well, there's just not as much evidence for itm

            Anonymous

Or if you need to dive for cover and it gets smashed on the ground.
If you're shooting people and therefore using buckshot or slugs some more weight is also good for taming recoil.

Unless you're literally fighting in combat, and you need the shotgun to survive across multiple moronic 18 year olds, there is no reason for the benelli.
And even then the beretta may survive that abuse as well, there's just not as much evidence for itm

There's no free lunch, you fundamentally can't make something lighter with the same materials without compromising durability.

if a gun can hold up to hard waterfowl hunt use where its getting splashed, banged up against the boat, and splashed again with mud I'm going to say it'll hold up fine to combat use regardless if its a a400 or benelli m4. its all the same company anyway

How does Shotgun suppression work? What stops the baffles from getting obliterated by anything other than a slug? Are the interiors different? Is it ooze/gel?

silencerco used a bunch of rods to keep the shot from spreading inside the suppressor

M4 is a fat pig and unreliable with anything less than 00 or being modified.
It’s also a slow action that can easily be outpaced by better shooters and pistol grip shotguns have always been pure mall ninja.

There is a reason nobody (who places) in 3 gun or actually hunt uses one.
Its’s for LARPerator fantasies chewing through buckshot, and thats about it.

Mine runs fine with light target load birdshot.
Also its a fricking combat shotgun of course its not optimized for hunting or shooting clays. It's optimized for not breaking when its put through shit and for killing people.

M3 is more complicated and inertia. M4 is gas operated and based. Again. The M4 is the only semiautomatic shotgun used by the US Military, the only one to pass its tests.
