They're fricking scrambling, just flinging shit at the wall to see if anything sticks. The sanctions, the seized assets going to Ukraine, Crimea's air defenses being vaporized. It has been a terrible week for the moskals.
He claims the armor can withstand.50BMG, which I guess makes sense if it it contains titanium, but then it says the armor is polyethylene and the titanium is just a supportive exoskeleton to negate the weight with no mention of anything else. Yeah good luck stopping .50 BMG I guess
>quantum polymers from chinese ally
The plastic is so contaminated that the bullet experiences life-changing hormonal disruption, becomes more interested in being penetrated than penetrating, and kills itself within the span of a few microseconds.
The armor grants great power, but only the manliest of men can wear it without succumbing to its effects.
Lvl4+ ceramic plates can stop .50bmg, they're designed to stop .308 minimum, but the well made ones can do it. Obviously a thicker plate could do it reliably. Bullets aren't magical, they follow classical physics.
A bmp1 can also stop a .50 BMG but it won't stop it at 100m or if it is a ap round or if it's fired at something else than the thickes part of the armour at the front.
The more I think about it, the more Sotnik makes a lot of sense. FPV drones are the biggest threat to individual soldiers, and I can guarantee it is cheaper to upgrade all of their armor in order to survive the shrapnel than it is to buy each unit a handful of EW devices and pay off new soldiers from across the continent every time the old ones get blown up
I suppose it'l let your body remain in one piece rather than spread over an area when the Ukies hit them with an FPV. Game changer for the coroners trying to match up corpses with families.
the explosions the current drones are powerful to blow your brains by air pressure alone, if not a single inch of flesh is damaged on the outside the eyes will pop and the organs will bleed
Surely this will be a good replacement for all those T-54s
I'll support it if only it encourages nations to adopt complete helmets
>but muh visibility
Not my problem, Spartan
Peripheral vision is a myth anyway.
is there any way for a full helmet to counteract the effects of overpressure
>2021
>didn't see any in ukraine
>ruber triangles, some missing
There sure have been lots of these "what if the pootinate is actually stronk" threads in the past few days.

Yeah, reminds me of the early war.
They are definitely seething at the sanctions and their israeli masters losing 50 billion USD.
>Resistant to fire that would frick up light armour
>Claim: Russian spokesmouth outlet
I habeeb it.

west cannot compete

>2021
>Motorcycle helmet
>Temu cosplay that I wouldn't trust to protect from road rash
Pretty funny that Donbas has been fully depopulated.
jfc don't remind me, it makes me fricking sad. some guys got psyopd by their tv's and now a whole area of comfy babushka's is mass graves.
Isn’t this suit straight up from some Russian action movie?
>New
>2021
Rajesh, please
Which video game concept art did they ripped that one off again? One of the Deus Ex ones?
Looks like some of the heavy Mass Effect armours.
My guess is BF2142.
>Random belts on one of his shins
Why?
To keep the snow out of the boots and keep the blood in the body when you step on a mine
>Febuary 02, 2021
>when
Oh, you

It may* be a game changer, but Russia will still suck at playing
*-It’s not.
Remember when this shit was posted every fricking week on this board before the war?
I suppose it'l let your body remain in one piece rather than spread over an area when the Ukies hit them with an FPV. Game changer for the coroners trying to match up corpses with families.
This looks fricking scary, the U.S. should develop a new combat rifle chambered in 6.8 that could penetrate this exact armor just in case.
Considering Russian soldiers will never see the XM7 face-to-face I doubt it will make a difference
Can't even penetrate Level 4s (without AP tungsten rounds)
Good thing we're making tungsten rounds.
>doubling down on body armor
dumb
>can't even afford ambulances
>have to use unicycle wheel barrows to carry wounded
>battle armor
Jej
Wow, NATO is finished. How are decadent western soldiers supposed to contend with that level of advanced kit???
>ratnik
>sotnik
>maybe sputnik
When is Vatnik armor coming out?
Came out in 2012.
Vatnik will be the last armor in the tech tree
the explosions the current drones are powerful to blow your brains by air pressure alone, if not a single inch of flesh is damaged on the outside the eyes will pop and the organs will bleed
The wect will be finished and the multipolar world will finally manifest
>that missing styrofoam piece, tho
The helmet has systems for comms, which the creator admits as a huge flaw with the Russian army
