New AR15 Killer Just Dropped

The PSA Jackl seem to have all of the advantages of an AR15 and none of its disadvantages.
>AR15 ergonomics
>Pistol reliability of an AK
>Folding stock
>AR15 accuracy
>Compatible with most AR15 parts
>Fully compatible with AR15 lower
>Adjustable gas system
>Adjustable for optimal performance with suppressors
>Doesn't seem to have proprietary components like Sig Spear so can be manufactured by anyone
>Not vaporware like other guns such as the Perun.
>Will have plenty of spare parts available

Tell me why this gun won't replace the AR15 in the next decade.

    >Tell me why this gun won't replace the AR15 in the next decade.
    Because it isn't an AR-15.

Yeah, it isn't a basic bitch slop gun for basic bitch people that's the point

Yeah and making a folding stock ar15 ergo'd gun is totally unique and original its totally not a basic bitch gun, it for people who want it because it's not an AR15 yet still want an AR15.

    >why it will not
Metallurgy is an art, not a science.
This is why buying a brand new model is only for collectors and new gun owners making their first mistake. It's a gamble.
It has the potential to be great, but it will take decades of little improvements to become as solid as a good AR.

      >It has the potential to be great, but it will take decades of little improvements to become as solid as a good AR.
It doesn't need decades of additional improvements because its already incorporating a lot of the AR15 improvements into its own design.

      >AR-15 ergonomics
      >AR-15 accuracy
      >compatible with most AR-15 parts
      >compatible with AR-15 lower

so its an AR-15 with extra steps?
      FTFY

+ 1.5 extra pounds and minimal aftermarket support.

Did you miss the part where it also removes a lot of the disadvantages of an AR15 like no folding stock, shitting where it eats, and bad optimization with suppressors?
It having AR15 parts is a big advantage as it can utilize the preexisting AR15 aftermarket support.

The Beretta 92/M9 incorporated a lot of things from earlier models, too. Slides still cracked after being used as military weapons. It takes a lot of time and use to vet a weapon platform.

I'm not saying that's the only kind of gun you should buy, I'm just saying it's not a civil war LARP buy.

          >slides still cracked
Sure, after a batch of bad ammo and a complete lack of adequate maintenance on high round count guns.
No other adopter of the 92fs experienced the issues the US did.

            Anonymous

Yup. The US military was using an old design of the 92 locking block that wasn't designed for extended abuse, and they were not changing them every 10-15K rounds, just letting them go to failure point. The equivalent is a woman who never changes the oil on her car, and the engine eventually sludges up and seizes, and then she goes, "This car is a piece of shit!!!"

              >tfw kids these days will never know the joy of inventing new and creative ways to remove the slides from berettas with cracked locking lugs

you fundementally do not understand the AR-15, or AR-10 etc system, they are not direct impingement. This is a retarded take spammed over and over by anyone who dislikes the AR.

        >shitting where it eats
Marketing meme that doesn't even get the basics of the AR's gas system correct
        >and bad optimization with suppressors
What does this even mean? It's fucking easy to get an AR to run reliably with a suppressor.

        >shitting where it eats
        t. Has never shot an AR or taken apart an AR-15 bolt carrier group

Most of the carbon gets blown out of the vents in the bolt carrier, there’s no carbon build up in the chamber area. It just gets dirty in a different area compared to a gas piston system.

It costs as much as 2.5 AR's, isn't available in a 20" barrel for optimal performance, and is only available from one manufacturer, whereas AR-15 parts are cheap and ubiquitous.

Monolithic uppers have been a thing since forever ago with LMT and Colt Canada. This thing is using AR-18 operating system (bolt, recoil assembly, piston) like all the other AR-18 variants (SCAR, ACR, XCR, Bren, MCR, etc.). It uses an obviously ripped off Magpul ACR stock. The lower is standard AR lower missing the buffer tube part (or maybe not). This isn't an AR-15. This is just another AR-18 with monolithic upper and ACR stock.

      >This thing is using AR-18 operating system
Looks like it uses a long stroke piston. AR 18 is a short stroke

    >AR15 ergonomics
The shit you posted odesn't even have a carry handle, it has the loading handle on the side instead of on the top, and it has a folding stock.

Pic related are AR15 ergonomics. What you posted is just modern, modular assault rifle design.

The Bren 2 and ACR are ridiculously overpriced, and almost impossible to get vaporware.
Whereas you can buy the Jakl right now on the PSA website.

      >heavier and bulkier
It doesn't weigh that much more than an AR15 and weighs way less than an AK.
      >folding stock is less sturdy (they break all the time)
AKs have had folding stocks since forever and everyone praises them.
      >AR15 accuracy? KEK, no.
Watch the video, he gets the same MOA as an average AR15.
      >"Pistol reliability of an AK" Literally WTF does that even mean, retard?
The long stroke piston system is more reliable than a DI system, this is settled science.

The AR-15 is only tried and true when you spend $2000 bucks for a super premium AR15 like Geissele or LMT.
If you buy some $500 Anderson or Stag Arms, you will get a piece of shit that jams every other mag.
